Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, psychological empowerment, and perceived organizational support on hospital employees’ job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. Job satisfaction is one of the important factors that affect employee performance and the quality of hospital services. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the factors that can enhance employee job satisfaction so that organizations can create a productive and sustainable work environment. This study employed a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to hospital employees. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to examine the relationships among the research variables. The results indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Psychological empowerment was also found to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and emerged as the most dominant variable. In addition, perceived organizational support has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Simultaneously, work motivation, psychological empowerment, and perceived organizational support were proven to have a significant effect on the job satisfaction of hospital employees. These findings suggest that improving job satisfaction can be achieved through strengthening work motivation, enhancing employees’ psychological empowerment, and providing continuous organizational support. Therefore, hospital management should develop policies focused on improving employee welfare, participation, and development in order to support optimal service quality.

Abstract

Fraud remains a critical challenge for plantation and agribusiness companies due to the complexity of operational processes, extensive resource management, and increasing digitalization. This study aims to examine the determinants of fraud prevention by analyzing the influence of information systems, internal audit, audit competence, and whistleblowing systems, while also investigating the moderating role of professional ethics. A quantitative research approach was employed using survey data collected from 100 practitioners working in plantation and agribusiness companies. The data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to assess both direct and moderating effects among the variables. The findings reveal that information systems and audit competence have significant positive effects on fraud prevention, indicating that technological support and auditor expertise play important roles in strengthening organizational control mechanisms. In contrast, internal audit and whistleblowing systems do not demonstrate significant effects on fraud prevention. The results further show that professional ethics significantly moderates the relationship between audit competence and fraud prevention by strengthening the effectiveness of competent auditors in detecting and preventing fraudulent activities. However, professional ethics does not significantly moderate the relationships between information systems, internal audit, whistleblowing systems, and fraud prevention. These findings suggest that effective fraud prevention in plantation and agribusiness companies requires not only robust information systems and competent auditors but also strong ethical values that enhance professional judgment and accountability. The study contributes to the fraud prevention literature by highlighting the strategic role of professional ethics in reinforcing the impact of audit competence on organizational fraud prevention efforts. The results provide practical implications for managers, auditors, and policymakers seeking to improve governance and fraud control practices within the plantation and agribusiness sector.

Abstract

The halal cosmetics industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth alongside the increasing awareness of Muslim consumers, particularly Generation Z, regarding the use of products that comply with Islamic principles. Digital technology, the presence of Muslim influencers, and lifestyle changes play important roles in shaping consumer behavior and purchase decisions. However, conceptual gaps still exist in understanding the mechanism through which these factors influence purchase decisions, with trust serving as an intervening variable. The study employed a quantitative research method using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The data analysis included tests of Convergent Validity, Discriminant Validity, Composite Reliability, Model Fit, Path Coefficient, R-Square (R²), and Hypothesis Testing. The results of the study indicate that halal certification has a significant positive effect on purchase decisions, with a T-statistic value of 9.337 and a P-value of 0.001. Muslim influencers also have a significant effect, with a T-statistic of 7.306 and a P-value of 0.000. Lifestyle has a significant effect on purchase decisions, with a T-statistic of 4.350 and a P-value of 0.001. Furthermore, halal certification has a significant positive effect on trust, with a T-statistic of 22.128 and a P-value of 0.000. Muslim influencers significantly affect trust, with a T-statistic of 7.536 and a P-value of 0.000. Lifestyle also has a significant effect on trust, with a T-statistic of 3.205 and a P-value of 0.001. The R-Square value of 0.987 indicates that the independent variables are able to explain 98.7% of the variance in purchase decisions. Trust is also proven to mediate the relationships among the variables, with a T-statistic of 5.842 and a P-value of 0.000. Halal certification, Muslim influencers, and lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on halal cosmetic purchase decisions among Generation Z in Serang City. These three variables also have a positive and significant effect on consumer trust. Trust has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. The better the perception of halal certification, the role of Muslim influencers, and the implementation of a halal lifestyle, the higher the level of trust and the purchase decisions for halal cosmetics among Generation Z.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the skincare industry has intensified competition among brands, compelling companies to adopt effective marketing strategies to drive consumer repurchase intention. Skintific, as one of Indonesia's growing skincare brands, leverages brand ambassadors, builds brand image, and enhances consumer trust to maintain customer loyalty. However, the extent to which these factors influence repurchase intention among Generation Z consumers remains underexplored. This study therefore aims to analyze the influence of brand ambassador, brand image, and brand trust on repurchase intention among Generation Z consumers of Skintific skincare products in Cirebon City. A quantitative approach with explanatory research method was employed. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 100–150 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. Results indicate that brand ambassador, brand image, and brand trust each exert a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention, both simultaneously and partially. Among the three variables, brand ambassador demonstrates the most dominant effect. These findings suggest that an effective brand ambassador strategy, supported by a positive brand image and high consumer trust, can significantly increase the repurchase intention of Generation Z consumers toward Skintific skincare products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of Break Even Point (BEP) and Margin of Safety (MOS) information as a basis for determining production quantities in controlling sales risk at Amira Sumedang Tofu Factory. The study is motivated by fluctuating market demand and the perishable nature of tofu products, which require effective production planning to minimize the risk of financial losses. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using primary and secondary data collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and business records. The analysis was conducted using Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) techniques, particularly Break Even Point (BEP) and Margin of Safety (MOS) calculations. The findings indicate that the factory’s sales consistently remained above the break-even point during the January–April 2026 period, demonstrating the company’s ability to cover all production costs and generate profits. The calculated BEP sales value was IDR 14,950,166, while actual monthly sales ranged from IDR 35,750,000 to IDR 42,240,000. Furthermore, the Margin of Safety values ranged from 58.2% to 64.6%, indicating that the company maintained a strong sales safety margin and faced a relatively low risk of financial loss. The highest MOS value was recorded in January (64.6%), while the lowest occurred in February (58.2%), although sales remained safely above the break-even level. The study concludes that BEP and MOS are effective management accounting tools for supporting production planning and controlling sales risk. BEP provides information regarding the minimum sales and production levels required to avoid losses, while MOS measures the degree of sales security against potential declines in demand. Therefore, the utilization of BEP and MOS information can assist MSMEs in making more accurate production decisions, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining business sustainability in a competitive market environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of employee adaptive competence in supporting operational risk management, examine the development of operational resilience, and identify obstacles in maintaining service continuity at PT Bank Sumut Syariah Pematangsiantar Branch. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that employee adaptive competence plays a crucial role in mitigating risks, but the level of readiness is not uniform among individuals, leading to inconsistent responses to disruptions. Operational resilience at the branch level has been established through experience and coordination, yet it remains situational and not yet systematically structured. Furthermore, operational risk management was found to be responsive in handling technical and non-technical disruptions. The study concludes that service continuity still relies heavily on individual initiatives rather than organizational systems. It is recommended that the organization strengthen adaptive competence uniformly and integrate a more proactive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
