Abstract

This research optimizes the placement strategy for new Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). The study employs a data-driven methodology that integrates data preparation, clustering techniques, and coefficient calculations to identify the most suitable ATM locations. This approach goes beyond static models by incorporating customer behavior and transaction data. The methodology utilizes a two-pronged approach. The first phase assesses the potential of various districts for ATM placement, considering factors such as demographics, transaction patterns, and competitor presence. K-means clustering is then employed to prioritize districts with the highest potential for benefiting from additional ATMs. The second phase involves calculating coefficients by analyzing correlations between existing ATM distribution and district potential scores. This analysis provides data-driven recommendations for the optimal number of new ATMs in each district. By leveraging robust methodological framework, this research offers valuable insights for strategic decision-making and resource allocation. The proposed approach can enhance banking service accessibility across diverse regions, improve customer satisfaction, and contribute to the optimization of BRI's ATM network.

Abstract

Sales plays a very important role in the motorcycle oil retail business. High sales numbers indicate the health of the business and help ensure the continued operation of the retail store. With good sales, retail stores can earn enough income to cover operational costs, make a profit, and even expand their business. Therefore, it is important for retail store owners to manage the sales process effectively and ensure that the goods offered match customer needs and desires. Product availability is very important so that a sales transaction is not lost. One way to deal with this problem is to carry out research to find out sales patterns, making it easier for entrepreneurs to buy back stock to fill their retail shop's oil needs so that there are no lost sales transactions which will affect their income. The Apriori algorithm is one of the basic algorithms for determining high frequency patterns that often appear. This research uses sales data from retail motorbike oil sales in Indonesia, which has 91 XYZ retail stores spread across Karawang Regency. The result of this research is that the most sold oil products are known, so it can make it easier for entrepreneurs to find out the most sold products and can be used as a reference if they want to increase their inventory and promote strategies for oil products that are still selling poorly

Abstract

This paper introduces WISE-Engergy, Wireless Integrated Smart Energi Systems. This system is designed to optimize indoor electricity usage by fostering user awareness of energy-saving practices. Users are reminded to turn off electrical devices when leaving the room through notifications on an Android smartphone application. The research aims to increase public awareness of the importance of energy conservation and to apply technology to achieve higher energy efficiency. The contribution of this research lies in the development of an innovative energy-saving system that can be implemented in various indoor environments to support sustainable energy-saving efforts. The test results show that this system successfully achieves its intended goals. The notifications sent to the last user in the room effectively encouraged them to turn off the lights upon leaving. The WSN communication test between room 1 and room 2 also demonstrated that the system could transmit power data from room 2 to room 1 via the XBee module. System evaluation and testing indicated that SENIOR successfully notified users to turn off electrical devices. This research makes a significant contribution to addressing energy-saving challenges and promoting an energy-saving culture in the community.

Abstract

The development of the digital creative industry is growing very rapidly, utilizing information technology as an option, one of which is three-dimensional (3D) representation technology. 3D representation technology drives innovation in various sectors such as virtual reality, filmmaking, video games, geospatial surveying, architecture, and archaeology. 3D modeling of historical objects has gained attention in recent years. 3D model representation of artifacts is an attempt at digital documentation in case the object is damaged. One of the methods in 3D model representation is by using the photogrammetry-based Structure from Motion (SfM) method. The photogrammetry-based Structure from Motion (SfM) method is a stage of creating 3D models from several artifact images captured by a smartphone camera and then processed into 3D objects from a software. Objects in the form of photos in this study were taken directly from several shooting viewpoints in the Ranggawarsita museum. The results of the 3D model in this study can be utilized as digital assets for various purposes such as educational media for historical objects.

Abstract

PT XYZ provides a digital platform for the national logistics ecosystem and is connected to a global network. PT XYZ applies Agile as a project management methodology so that each team member can focus on continuous improvement and delivering value to customers. The framework used is Scrum during software development to complete work in Agile. However, there are problems during software development, such as failing to meet the targeted deliverables. This research evaluates the implementation of Scrum in PT XYZ and provides recommendations for improving the software development process using Scrum Evaluation Metrics based on Scrum Guide 2020 and Essentials Scrum. The research utilized mixed methods, combining quantitative data collection through questionnaires with qualitative methods involving interviews with Scrum Master and stakeholders, followed by a review of company documents. The result was processed using the Agile Maturity Model's Key Process Area (KPA) rating. The research shows that overall, the KPA rating value of 87.39% is interpreted as Fully Achieved. Recommendations for improvement focused on 27 recommendations for 61 practices that were not Fully Achieved, with high priority given to 15 recommendations. This evaluation and recommendation aim to improve the implementation of Scrum in PT XYZ and overcome the problem of backlog targets not being achieved in the Fulfillment squad.

Abstract

This study employs the Water Evaluation and Planning (WEAP) system to analyze water resource management for the Sedawgyi Dam in Myanmar. The research integrates hydrological data, demand projections, and infrastructure information to simulate current and future water scenarios. Key steps include model setup, calibration, scenario development, and analysis. The results indicate that Mandalay City's highest domestic water demands are in Chanmyatharzi and Aungmyaetharzan townships, with agricultural water demands peaking in Mattaya township. The reference scenario highlights a significant domestic water supply shortfall, meeting only 10% of the demand, while agricultural demands are nearly fully met. The study underscores the urgent need for improved water management strategies to address rising unmet water demands, particularly for domestic use, to ensure sustainable water resource allocation in the region.

Abstract

This study addresses the critical issue of assessing climate change impacts on streamflow and water demand in the Katha basin using the WEAP hydrological simulation model with the Soil Moisture (SM) method. The Katha basin, situated within Ayeyarwaddy River basin, faces variability in stream flow due to changing climatic conditions, impacting water availability for agriculture and domestic use. Through WEAP modeling, calibrated and validated against observed data from 2000-2012, the study projects an increase in annual flows under future scenarios (SSP245 and SSP585). Results indicate potential decreases in monsoonal flows, affecting water availability for agriculture and domestic use, necessitating adaptive management strategies. Model performance assessed by Nash Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) and Coefficient of Determination (R2) shows satisfactory agreement with observed data. The study underscores the urgency of integrated water resource management to sustainably address water demands amid climate variability, highlighting implications for agricultural productivity and water security in the region.

Abstract

PT ABC is a national scale financial company whose services have spread throughout Indonesia and several countries in the world. Apart from that, PT ABC also encourages digitalization in improving its digital services. In improving its digital services, PT ABC involves all internal resources and IT vendors. During 2023, there will be 189 IT vendors collaborating with PT ABC. With a large number of IT vendors, it is necessary to group IT vendors to make it easier for companies to determine future strategies. Currently it is felt that determining the criteria for strategic IT vendors is no longer appropriate to the company’s conditions, so updated are needed. Determination of the criteria and subcriteria for this research was carried out through focus group discussion with 3 respondents. The results of the FGD stated 3 criteria and 2 subcriteria that could be used in this research. These criteria and subcriteria were then weighted using the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) method which was then tested on 25 IT vendors randomly.
