Abstract

The global economic growth heavily lies on the manufacturing sector. However, over the past decade, manufacturing sector in general has been facing a serious production downturn, hence, operating below its capacity mostly due to its inefficient and ineffective production system. Additionally, due to failure for manufacturing sector to constantly measure, develop and implement novel approaches in order to make sure it positions itself for economic growth as well as unlocking new opportunities within the ever-changing and complex worldwide market environment. However, ss of 2011, Industrial revolution 4.0 seems to have been a crucial factor in reshaping the sociological, economic, and technological landscape. Businesses associated with exposure to continuous digital transformation are able to capitalize on Industrial revolution 4.0 potential but are also compelled to deal with various impediments. Yet, research on the opportunities associated with the integration of Industry 4.0 in manufacturing industries from a holistic perspective is scarce. To fill this research gap, this study adopted the PRISMA approach to conduct a thorough investigation on the potential opportunities related to the adoption of industry 4.0 in the context of manufacturing businesses.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the process of developing services based on machine learning technologies in a manufacturing environment context. Over the past decade, there has been a resurgence of interest in technology, with prominent technology business organisations and several start-ups incorporating it into their operations. The technology's widespread applications capacity for obtaining a competitive advantage, combined with the prospect of task automation for increased operational efficiency, renders it a significant resource for large corporations. Yet, the rate at which most of manufacturing firms are implementing Machine Learning services into their operations is very insignificant. Technical expertise has dominated study in this field, with minimal participation from other areas. Thus, the goal of this article is to identify the development benefits of Machine Learning services and to provide a process model for their deployment, based on service development and value theory.

Abstract

The simultaneous regional head elections were over, but during the campaign until it was decided to become regional head there were many comments, both pro and contra. The city of Medan is one of the regions that will hold the 2020 ELECTION during the pandemic. The Medan City Election has decided that the pair Bobby Nasution and Aulia Rachman have won. This victory certainly gets a variety of comments on social media, especially Twitter. This study conducts sentiment analysis to see the sentiment that occurs, namely seeing negative, positive, or neutral comments. This sentiment analysis uses two methods to see the resulting accuracy, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC). This study also looks at the interactions that occur using Social Network Analysis (SNA). In addition to sentiment analysis and SNA, this study also looks at the existence of BOT accounts used in the #PilkadaMedan. The results obtained from the sentiment analysis show that NBC has the highest accuracy, which is 81, 72% with a data proportion of 90:10. Then on SNA, the @YanHarahap account got the highest nodes, namely 911 nodes. Then from 10326 tweets, 11% were suspected of being BOT by the DroneEmprit Academic system.

Abstract

The increasing use of the internet and the developments in the world of informatics have brought security problems together. Hardware and software known as Intrusion Detection System aim to detect attacks from the outside world and protect the system from them. These systems need to be fast and intelligent. Establishing intelligent systems for IDS requires data collection, processing and establishment of models in this area. It is very important to pre-process the collected data and select the necessary attributes. The fact that there are many feature selection methods and data preprocessing steps raises the question of which of these should be used and even which of these combinations of options would be better. Although there are studies on selecting the required features or on different normalization methods, there is no study that applies them together on IDS systems. This study was carried out for this purpose. With the study performed on the Kddcup99 dataset, 4 different normalization and 4 different feature selection methods were evaluated together. In this context, 20 different datasets were created and K nearest neighbor, Artificial Neural Networks and Random Forest algorithms were applied to each of them. When the results obtained are evaluated together with the normalization methods and feature selection methods, it has been shown that ideal features that produce successful results for IDS can be found
