Abstract

In the current era of technology, photos are an important existence for modern society where with photos we can get a lot of information. Quality photos must have a good resolution and level of sharpness, but sometimes the photos obtained are sometimes not satisfied, especially in the resolution section where there are some photos with low resolution. With the use of ESRGAN photos that have low resolutions can be increased so that the resolution without reducing the quality of the photo significantly.

Abstract

Data on new student admissions is always available and owned by all universities, both private and public. One of the private universities that has this data is STITEK Bontang (Bontang College of Technology). This data can be used as a reference or database owned by STITEK Bontang to be used optimally. This utilization is used as strategic information for new student admissions during the pandemic. This study aims to group new student data using data mining techniques. The data mining technique used is the FP Growth algorithm and the Apriori Algorithm. For the research steps using the CRISP-DM methodThis research is used to determine the right Promotion Strategy. Determining the right promotional strategy will be able to reduce promotional costs and achieve the right promotion goals. 1) Fp-Growth and Apriori methods in building a knowledge base from a collection of student databases accepted at STITEK Bontang by showing the relationship between student identity and the study program that the student chooses. 2) Obtained the most entrances with a lift ratio of 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to implement a Banner Ordering Prediction System Using the Apriori Algorithm at Pagar Alam 3 Pagar Alam Cipta Aksara Printing. At Pagar Alam 3 Pagar Alam Cipta Aksara Printing, a problem was found, namely the difficulty in controlling the available banner-making production materials. When there are banner materials that are often purchased out of stock at the printing press, the printing owner must re-stock the materials and it takes a long time to provide the materials. With the Banner Ordering Prediction System Using the Apriori Algorithm, it was found that the association rules if consumers order 340 ingredients then consumers will order 280 ingredients with a 100% confidence value, if consumers order 280 materials & x-banners then consumers will order 280 ingredients with a confidence value of 100 %, the item if the consumer orders the sticker material, the consumer will order the material 280 with a confidence value of 93.10%, the item if the consumer orders the material 400 then the consumer will order the material 280 with a confidence value of 86.67% and the item if the consumer orders the material 280 then the consumer will order sticker material with a confidence value of 51.92%. With this system, it is hoped that it will simplify the process of providing material for making banners in the future. The system testing method uses Black Box Testing by testing input, output, update, delete, and button functions, with valid (appropriate) results.

Abstract

Garbage is leftover material that is no longer used from daily human activities. The Garbage Bank system is currently still manual in nature such as buying and selling waste from the Bengkalis community, waste price lists, types of waste and grouping waste categories. As a solution to these problems, the author builds a Software Design to digitize the previous system which was done manually. In this study the research methodology used is the Kanban method. In making this application the programming language used is PHP Framework Codeigniter, and MYSQL as a data storage area. With this application, it can help the Waste Bank to buy waste easily, safely and more efficiently.

Abstract

Online learning is the main learning system amid government policies that have closed face-to-face learning activities as a result of the emergence of Covid-19. Based on pre-study data, it shows that the obstacles that interfere with the learning process are learning content that is less attractive, internet networks that are less supportive, and inadequate digital devices. In the communication aspect, problems that arise, such as students who cannot ask questions directly to lecturers, and online learning which is not as interactive as face-to-face learning. Meanwhile, from the aspect of the E-Learning System, the problems that arise are the content, content, or appearance that is less attractive and interactive, information that is not optimal, not up-to-date, and E-Learning is less stable. This research was conducted to analyze the role of online learning, communication, and E-Learning systems on learning motivation. The approach is carried out using quantitative methods and processed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). As a result, it was found that the facilities and knowledge of the teacher had a significant positive effect on students' learning motivation with p-values ​​of 0.00.

Abstract

Images are messages that can be kept secret, so security measures are needed. Techniques that can be used are cryptography and steganography. Steganography can be combined with cryptography to increase security. Images have a relatively large size; Therefore, a compression algorithm is needed. The compression algorithm used is lossless compression. MP3 audio is used as the cover media because it is the most popular audio file. In this study, aspects of imperceptibility, fidelity, recovery, payload, and robustness will be evaluated. The imperceptibility aspect is carried out by observing the RGB Histogram of the image and the audio frequency spectrum, the test results show that there is no significant difference between the audio before and after the image message is inserted. In the fidelity aspect, the PSNR result is above 30 dB. In the payload aspect, the file size after being encrypted with AES and RC4 is larger than just encoded using the base64 encoder. From the recovery aspect, the test results show a BER value of 0. Testing the robustness aspect by manipulating the bitrate, channel mode, and sample frequency, the test results show that the message cannot be extracted.

Abstract

Medan City Tourism Office in providing tourism location information is currently still using the official website that only displays explanations about tourism and mapping of tourist location points only, the current system is less efficient and makes tourists or the public not know much about the location or route to be passed and search for tourist attractions in the city of Medan. Researchers try to solve the problem by implementing a geographic information system implemented with OSM (Open Street Map). In this study, data collection using qualitative methods and applications was developed using waterfall methods. The results of the analysis will be described using UML (Unified modelling language). The results of this study show that the geographical information system of tourism to find out the location point and the nearest route can provide benefits to tourists and local people to travel in the city of Medan.

Abstract

The health crisis caused by the covid-19 virus outbreak has given birth to online learning in all parts of the world until the covid-19 pandemic ends, so that in this condition the government urges the government to innovate and adapt related to the use of available technology to support the learning process. All elements in learning such as teachers, lecturers and students are required to carry out a large-scale transmission that has never been done before from conventional learning (offline) to online-based learning. Some of the obstacles that often occur are caused by inadequate IT learning support infrastructure so that there is a range of learning losses. For this reason, learning IT devices that are cheap, ergonomic and fulfill all aspects of learning are carried out to solve the problems in this research, thus this paper proposes a device, namely smart projection low-cost interactive surface (SP-LCIS) as one of the solutions for supporting devices in implementation of Hybrid Learning System learning. In this research observation conducted at SMKN 3 Jember it was found that 99% of the devices run very well and provide added value in learning and 1% feel that they increase their preparation time, such as having to learn how to operate them effectively.

Abstract

The selection process for scholarship recipients in higher education requires a measurable system. The problem that has been happening is that the procedures carried out by the scholarship provider still use a manual file examination system. Composite performance index is the method used in this study. The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system for the selection of scholarship recipients to be more systematic and time efficient in the process. There are 10 alternatives and 4 criteria, namely parental income, GPA, electricity usage ,and semesters. The results of this study were obtained 5 highest values are A7 t with a value of 235.00 rank 1, A4 with a value of 200.00 rank 2, A1 with a value of 134.14 rank 3 sequences, A5 with a value of 120.00 ranks 4, and A8 with a value of 91.67 sequences 5.

Abstract

In the world of higher education, lecturers are one of the main components in building quality and quantity. Good quality will give good results as well, to improve the quality of each lecturer, it is necessary to have an award given to lecturers from the campus so that it becomes a motivation for lecturers to improve the quality given to students and the community. Amik Mitra Gama is a private campus located in the Duri Riau area, in this case to improve the quality of education one of the steps taken is to give awards and appreciation to the best lecturers who will be selected every year. To realize this, we need an easy calculation system that is carried out in the form of ranking according to the final value, therefore a decision support system using the ARAS method is chosen because it is very appropriate for the selection process and provides convenience in the calculations which are determined based on ranking. The decision support system using the ARAS method uses 8 criteria that are set as a reference in determining the best lecturers, namely Recent Education, Lecturer Functional Position, Lecturer Certification, Number of Journal Publications, Roles in Research, Journal Publication History, Research Grants, and Community Service. There are 10 lecturers in the field of computers who will be used as alternative data with lecturer codes D01, D02, D03, D04, D05, D06, D07, D08, D09, D10. The results obtained from this study are the lecturer code D04 = 0.0974, D06 = 0.0965, D09 = 0.0932, D07 = 0.0903, D03 = 0.0901 was selected as the best lecturer in 2021/2022. So that the results of this study can help the campus to determine the best lecturers every year fairly and be selected based on rankings.
