Abstract

Implementation of the concept of Merdeka Belajar which guarantees freedom for educators in formulating learning designs and assessments according to student characteristics and all mapping of student needs through the application of differentiated learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the knowledge and implementation of the differentiation learning approach used by PJOK teachers at SMA Negeri Kota Pematangsiantar. This research is qualitative research with observational data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in 6 public high schools in Pematangsiantar City. The sample in this study consisted of 6 principals, 6 teachers and 24 students. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that PJOK teachers in 4 Pematangsiantar City State High Schools had succeeded in implementing differentiation learning well, while the other 2 high schools had not done so. The conclusion of this study is that educators have made initial preparations with diagnostic assessments and selected differentiation of content, processes, or products according to student interests and talents. The positive impact of differentiated learning is felt by both educators and learners, although there is a negative impact in the form of student boredom on some learning topics due to the lack of variety in teaching methods. The recommendation for future research is to analyze differentiation learning at the private and public high school levels as a whole.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of plyometric knee tuck jump and Jump to box training on the jump height of volleyball athletes. This study uses an experimental method with a two group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were 35 PBV.Kapila Tanjungpinang male volleyball athletes using probability sampling technique in determining the number of samples so that a sample of 30 people was obtained. The instrument in this study used the vertical jump test. The data analysis technique uses a hypothesis test (t-test) to determine the difference in the effect of pretest and posttest. The results of the research showed 1) In the knee tuck jump training group on jump height has a significant effect (P < 0.05). This can be proven that the average value of the post test is higher than the average value of the pre test or (μA1 37.20 < μA2 45.87) with a difference of 8.65. 2) In the jump to box training group on jump height has a significant effect (P < 0.05). This can be proven that the average value of the post test is higher than the average value of the pre test or (μA1 35.20 < μA2 55.87) with a difference of 20.67. 3). In the knee tuck jump and jump to box training groups on jump height there is a significant difference in influence (P < 0.05). This can be proven that the average value of the post test of the jump to box training group obtained an average value of 55.87 is greater than the average value of the knee tuck jump training group 45.87 (μB2 55.87 ≥ μA2 45.87) with a difference of 10. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that knee tuck jump training and jump to box training, have a significant and positive effect on leg muscle strength in PBV.Kapila Tanjungpinang volleyball athletes. Although both show a significant positive effect, jump to box training is more effective in increasing leg muscle strength compared to knee tuck jump training.

Abstract

The strength and mass of leg muscles are the important parts in forming an ideal body. Leg muscles are the part of the body that has the most and largest muscles compared to other parts of the body (presenting ± 50% of the entire front body muscle area). Achieving an ideal body requires several important aspects, one of which is a structured and consistent training program. This research aims to analyze the influence of half squat free weight and machine training models on leg muscle strength and muscle mass. This research method that is used is a quasi experiment with pre-test and post-test with two groups with 20 male samples aged 20-25 years. This research instrument uses a Leg Dynamometer to measure leg muscle strength and an InBody 270 scale to measure muscle mass. Data analysis used one way anova test, paired sample T-test. The result of T-test shows that half squat exercises using 1 kg of free weight and 8.4 kg of machine weight both result in an increase in leg muscle strength, with a significance value of 0.030 0.05, indicating that both exercises have some effect on this increase but that the half squat machine exercise is more effective. Half squat exercises using free weights (0.27 kg) and machines (0.3 kg) result in an increase in muscle mass with a significance level of 0.042-0.05, indicating that both exercises have an impact on the growth of muscle mass but that the half squat machine exercise is more effective.
