Abstract

Abstract: The existence of this paper is to examine the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) applied at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School through a learning system that is internalized in the form of activities, programs and habituation patterns in Islamic boarding schools as an effort to shape the character of students, develop knowledge, insight, increase motivation , positive thinking, creative, critical and independent behavior. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observations and documentation. In this study the author intends to reveal how the PAI learning system based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is implemented at the Nurul Jadid Islamic boarding school. The results of this study are: Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Based Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Based PAI Learning System Innovations at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo through habituation patterns, doctrinal patterns, Furudhul 'Ainiyah development, and organizational culture patterns.

Abstract

This article analyzes the possible implementation of School Based Management Information System in terms of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in advancing the quality of educational service for students in islamic boardingschool. This article figures out that pesantren has implemented ICT based Management Information System in order to archieve program of teaching-learning process, to use learning facilities, curriculum, and to increase the teacher professionalism. The planning is implemented by making vision, mission, goals, and strategies in such a way of well structured management. However, there are some obstacles with which pesantren agencies have to deal in implementing this system, such as: limited access of internet and lack of teacher’s experience in using technology of information. Keywords: Management Information System, Information Communication Technology, Quality of Pesantren

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of online learning based on parental involvement in madrasas during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method of case study type. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that the challenges of online learning implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic include the readiness that educators must have, student factors and geographical challenges. This research provides implications for the importance of learning designs that teachers in online learning activities must make to perfectly realize educational and learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of management Human Resource Development at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) I Probolinggo which includes: Planning, Organizing, Implementing and Monitoring Programs Human Resource Development. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The data collected in this study through participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The results showed that: (1) Planning for human resource development programs (teachers) is carried out at the beginning of the new academic year through workshops. The teacher development strategy uses a "make approach", namely education and training. (2) Organizing the HR (Teacher) program is carried out by forming a committee and division of tasks and responsibilities for program implementation. (3) The implementation of the HR (Teacher) development program has been running in accordance with the planning, and (4) Supervision in the implementation of the HR development program (Teacher) is carried out by the principal directly or indirectly through the report of the activity committee.

Abstract

AbstracThis study aims to determine the development of humanistic multicultural education in learning Islamic Religious Education and the analysis of Islamic religious education in a culture of tolerance at SMP 3 Situbondo. This research used a qualitative research method with a purposive sampling technique approach. The research results show that the development of humanistic multicultural values in learning Islamic religious education is carried out according to the objectives, materials, methods and evaluation of learning in the syllabus. The culture of tolerance is implemented through the learning of Islamic religious education and manners through the attitude and example of Islamic religious education teachers and teachers of other subjects.

Abstract

Abstract Barokah is an integral part in the world of madrasah education, every second always appear the word from the academic community and customernya. The shift in the paradigm of contemporary education that places an educational output is the final process of transformation in the learning process in madrasah is sometimes broken by a public opinion that all processes are meaningless without baraka. The placement of the supernatural powers above a factual process has become a characteristic of madrasah education from the past to the present time, it is a belief that mensugesti all human beings and knock down the foundation of reasoning that education needs process and the carrying capacity in humanizing humanity or developing human potential accordingly nature that develops naturally and dynamically to suit the needs of the times. The cognitive ability that becomes the icon of life is no longer so urgent as a human driving pilot to fly higher to achieve success, let alone psychomotor no longer be a book to read in the curriculum of life, but different from affective is another face of barokah, in other words who is good ahlaknya then barokah no longer be sugesti and dreams perforated but a real dream that actualized in the success of life in the world and akherat .. Abstract

This paper discusses mnemonic learning strategies for memorizing the Qur'an. Al-Qur'an is the spirit for Muslims, if the spirit is lost then it is the same as Muslims have died. Therefore, the Qur'an is very important for Muslims to memorize, learn, and practice it. Memorization is the realm of the brain, related to remembering and forgetting. To achieve memorization with maximum results, a method is needed to achieve this goal, because if the method is wrong then of course the goal will be difficult to achieve. Mnemonic Learning as a method of memorizing has many strategies to improve memorization, including five Mnemonic strategies implemented at the Supercamp Hanifida Islamic Boarding School, namely the Number and Shape Method, Visual Imagery Method, Narrative Technique, Linking Word Method (Word link), and Loci method.

Abstract

This research wants to know the principles of character education from an Islamic perspective according to the thoughts of Muhammad Nur Suwaid, Ibnu Miskawaih and Al Ghazali. The nature of this research is library research, namely research on literature books related to the topics discussed. The source of the data in this study is the biography of the thoughts of Muhammad Nur Suwaid, Ibn Miskawaih and Al Ghazali. Character education according to the thoughts of Muhammad Nur Suwaid, Ibnu Miskawaih and Al Ghazali is to prepare children to enter a more global era but still hold fast to the teachings of their Lord. The principles of character education are the thoughts of Muhammad Nur Suwaid, Ibnu Miskawaih and Al Ghazali who are oriented towards the nature of the child.

Abstract

This research focuses on optimizing pedagogy through gamification as a scientific approach to increasing student motivation in madrasas. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of gamification elements in the learning process and how this can influence student motivation and engagement. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, class observations, and content analysis. Research findings show that implementing gamification significantly increases student motivation, primarily through the dynamic engagement generated by game elements such as challenges, point systems, and rewards. Students who engage in gamification-based learning show increased active participation and a greater desire to achieve academic goals. The implications of this research highlight the importance of integrating appropriate gamification elements in madrasa curricula to create a more interactive and motivating learning environment and the challenges that need to be considered regarding adapting gamification to diverse learning styles.

Abstract

This research focuses on the integration of character values in the Islamic Religious Education curriculum and the role of teachers as exemplary models in shaping students' character. The purpose of this study is to explore how contextual teaching approaches and consistency of teacher behavior can affect the internalization of character values by students at Nurul Jadid Junior High School. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The collected data was analyzed using an interactive model from Miles and Huberman, which included the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn/verification. The results of the study show that the integration of character values such as honesty, responsibility, tolerance, and cooperation in the curriculum, as well as the role of teachers as role models, is very effective in shaping students' character. The implications of this study confirm the importance of developing contextual teaching methods and consistency of teacher behavior to support more effective character education. This research makes a significant contribution to the literature on character education, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education.
