Abstract

Background: Motor development of preschool age children plays an important role in the health and development of children, and is the basis for good physical activity. This study aims to determine the effect of dance movement therapy intervention and rabbit dance intervention on gross motor development of children aged 4-5 years. Methods: The design used in this study is a quasi experiment with a sample of 34 respondents with purposive sampling technique. This study uses the Denver Developmental Screening Test (DDST) sheet. Result: The results of the univariate test showed that most of the respondents were 5 years old with a percentage of 25 people (73.5%), and the majority of respondents were male with a percentage of 22 people (64.7%).alternative Wilcoxon can be seen that the p value (0.025) < (0.05) in group 1 of the Dance Movement Therapy has an effect on the motor development of children aged 4-5 years. In group 2 with p value (0.002) < (0.05) the rabbit dance intervention affected the gross motor development of children aged 4-5 years. Alternative test results Mann Whitney (0.089) > (0.05) means that there is no significant difference between posttest group 1 and posttest group 2. Conclucion: based on observation result rabbit dance intervention are more effective than using Dance Movement Therapy intervention. The results of this study are expected to improve gross motor development of children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Nurses are required to have sensitivity and ability to support patients' trust and welfare through caring behavior. Nurse caring behavior will have a significant influence on the patient's care process in the hospital. The aim of study was to determine the description of nurse’s caring behavior in nursing services in one hospital in Indramayu Regency 2017. The study used descriptive methode. Population was patients in the Inpatient Room of one hospital in Indramayu Regency. Samples were 96 respondents which selected by accidental sampling technique. Humanistic and Altruistic caring behaviors of nurses were 91.7%, provide trust were 82.3%, foster sensitivity to themselves and others were 69.8%,  develop a relationship between mutual trust in patients were 77.1%, increase and receive expressions of positive and negative feelings towards patients were 77.1%, solving problems for decision making were 65.6%, increased learning and interpersonal teaching were 71.9%, creating supportive physical, mental, sociocultural, and spiritual environments were 81.3%, provide guidance in satisfying needs were 69.8%, and allowing for phenomenological stress to patient mental-growth and maturity pressure were 52.1%. Nursing caring behavior in the Inpatient Room of one hospital in Indramayu Regency were 53.1%.  Keywords: Caring Behavior, Nurses, Service

Abstract

Adolescence is a phase when there is an identity crisis. This is experienced by adolescents with autism. During adolescence, there will be physical, psychological, and emotional changes. Adolescents with autism will experience confusion because adolescence is a transitional period towards adulthood. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of parents in assisting adolescents with autism while puberty. Methods: This study is a qualitative descriptive study using a phenomenological approach. This study was conducted at SLB Pembina Pekanbaru. The population in this study are parents who have adolescents with autism who are experiencing puberty and are currently studying at SLB Pembina Pekanbaru. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling method with a total of 6 participants. Collecting data using in-depth interviews and observation. The collected data were analyzed using the Colaizzi method. Results: The results of this study obtained 4 (four) themes, namely (1) Parental perception related to puberty of adolescents with autism, (2) Knowledge of parents regarding puberty of adolescents with autism, (3) The role of parents about puberty and sexual education to adolescents with autism and (4) The role of parents in instilling religious values in adolescents with autism. Conclusion: This study concluded that adolescents with autism really need to be given more appropriate assistance to make them human beings who are independent and can better control their sexual behavior.

Abstract

Corovirus diasease 19 or covid-19 is an epidemic that infects almost the whole world which results in changes in human life both in the economic sector, the world’s wheel of life to the realm of education. And students so that the right parenting style is needed to make student learning successfull by e-learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Goal: The study is to find out parenting styles applied to children in e-learning learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Methods: Database search includes google scholar, and science direct with the keywords parenting, e-learning, covid-19. The criteria for the selected articles are published 2020-2021 with full indonesian text with a qualitative research design. This literature review uses 10 articles that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: Analysis of 10 articles on appropriate parenting can have a big influence on the success of e-learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Conclusion: That during the covid-19 pandemic, good parenting will result in positive child development in e-learning at home.

Abstract

At this stage of growth and development of  children pre- school age 3-4 years, children begin to master a variety of physical skills and courage. However, there are still come pre school age children are to afraid of being in a foreign environment at school. If that happens then the pre school children have delays in development. Child development is influence by the pattern of care applied by the parents. Authoritative parenting strongly influence the high level of courage and skill of children. The study aims to determine the relationship of parenting the parent to stimulate the development of groos motor and fine motor skills in children. Research methods and correlational design using cross sectional approach by using purposive sampling techniqus sampling. The population of this study were parents with pre school age children 3-4 years in early childhood AL-Firdaus Bahrul ‘Ulum Tambakberas Jombang, which amount to 32 people with a large sample of 22 people. Method of data collection use questionnaires and observation sheets DDST (Denver Development Screening Test), and then data is analyzed by Chi-Square test. The result of correlation analysis Chi-Square majority of respondents found that authoritative parenting implement as many as 20 people (90,9%) with development of gross motor that delay. Respondent who apply the authoritative parenting style with development of fine motor skills that normal . And indulgent parenting style with development of fine motor skills that delay with Asymp. Sig ρ = 0.000, which means there is a relationship between the pattern of care in stimulating the development of gross motor and fine motor skills of children. From this research it can be concluded that authoritative parenting pattern can be applied to parents of pre school children aged 3-4 years so that children growth and develop well in early childhood Bahrul ‘Ulum AL-Firdaus Tambakberas Jombang.Keywords: Parenting pattern, gwoth and development, Denver Development   Skrining Test

Abstract

As the internet age is growing rapidly, one of the benefits of the development of the internet is for entertainment facilities, for example to play online games. Online games are an audio and visual based game that is played over the internet network.  Objective : To find out if the use of online games during the COVID-19 Pandemic is a destructive coping state. Methods : The source of the article used is through a database search google scholar, science direct and elsiver. Article searches are restricted from 2016 to 2021. The keywords used in the article searches are "online gaming", "internet gaming addiction" and "COVID-19 pandemic". This Literature Review uses 15 articles that fit the inclusion criteria. Results: Online gaming or online games from reviewed research greatly have a negative impact on online gaming users, because not always online games are useful and pose a lot of risks. Conclusion: The use of online games during the COVID-19 pandemic is a destructive coping strategy because the use of online games is not always beneficial and can pose many risks that negatively impact excessive gaming such as endangering mental health, sleep patterns, or physical health

Abstract

Women will experience physiological and psychological changes after giving birth, these changes can cause stress on the mother due to adjustment demands due to ongoing life changes. This study aims to describe the incidence of postpartum depression at the Pekanbaru City Health Center. The design used in this research is simple descriptive using purposive sampling technique and the sample used is 79 respondents. The sample used was postpartum mothers 10 days to 6 months. This study used the Edinburgh postnatal depression scale (EPDS) questionnaire which uses a cut-off of 10, meaning that a score of ≤9 means that you do not tend to experience depression, while a score of ≥10 means that the respondent tends to experience depression. The results showed that 64 respondents (81.0%) did not tend to experience depression and 15 respondents (19.0%) tended to experience depression. After giving birth, many mothers are not aware of the symptoms of depression that occur, for this reason the importance of health education and depression screening programs or early detection after delivery to prevent postpartum depression.

Abstract

One of the health servicestrategies to improve the understanding of pregnant women is the maternal and Child Health (MCH) book. The MCH Handbook is communication tool that contains message on maternal and child health. The massagein the KIA book includes massage for the period of pregnancy that are things that need to be done by pregnant women as wellas the addition of body suplements suct as tables plus blood. Research design utilized in this study is corelasional with statistical Chi Square test and Multiple Regression Analysis with 46 people function as sample. The sampling technique which is used non-probability sampling. Data collection is done by questionnaire and obsevation (check list). Result of this study shows that (1) there has been significant correlation between the understanding of pregnancy suggestion and the obedience of consuming increment tablet with significant level P = 0,038 < 0,05, (2) there has also been crucial correlation the obedeance of antenatal visit and the obedience of consuming increment tablet with significant level P = 0,00 < 0,05 and (3) there has been inportant correlation among the understanding of pregnancy suggestion the obedeance of antenatal visit and obedience of consuming increment tablet with significancy level 0,000 < 0,05 with consequently H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.Herefore, it needs to be improved abaut the use of the MCH handbook and the role of health workers in increasing adherence to antenatal visits so that compliance with the consumpsion of blood tablet supplements for pregnant woment can increase

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease caused by abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin absorption or both. Characteristics of people who suffer from diabetes mellitus is an increase in blood sugar (hyperglycemia). Damage to the peripheral nervous system will reduce the response to the patient's pain or also called numbness of the peripheral tissues. Lack of sensitivity will cause the patient to be unaware of the wound. In addition to using anti-diabetic drugs and wound care, honey can also be an alternative in wound care and accelerate the healing of ulcers decubitus. Methods: This study is a literature review using research data taken from Google Scholar. The journal criteria taken are from 2017 to 2022 with the keywords honey and pressure ulcers. From the journals reviewed, it was found that honey can accelerate the healing of diabetic wounds. Healing diabetic ulcers with honey can be compared with other methods. The use of honey is cheaper than other wound healing methods. Honey as a wound dressing in diabetic wounds can improve healing at a lower cost

Abstract

Anemia often occurs in young women because in adolescence there has been rapid growth into the age of puberty including red blood cells will increase. In addition, in young women, menstrual cycles begin to occur that will release blood from the body with a considerable amount. One effort that can be done is to consume Fe tablets.The research design is a quantitative method in the form of Cross Sectional Design. The study was conducted on Class VII Adolescent Girls in Junior High School 1 Tapen - Tapen, Bondowoso in May 2019 with a sample of 33 respondents. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire sheet which then carried out the Spearman Rho analysis test with a significance level of p≤ 0.05. The results obtained p-value 0.007 (P≤ 0.05). So Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted, so there was a correlation between the Compliance of consumption Fe tablets with the incidence of Anemia in Class VII Adolescent Girls in Junior High School 1 Tapen, Tapen, Bondowoso. There is a need for counseling on the importance of consumption of Fe tablets and collaboration with teachers regarding the consumption of Fe tablets. Keywords: Fe Tablet Consumption, Compliance, Incidence of Anemia
