Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of batch-based medical record distribution on outpatient queue dynamics at the Psychiatric Polyclinic of RSJ X using a hybrid System Dynamics–Discrete Event Simulation (SD-DES) approach. The simulation model represents the patient service process, including registration, medical record distribution, screening, and psychiatric consultation. The input data consisted of 111 patient entities and 33 batch-based medical record distribution events obtained from six days of field observations, which were then modeled using statistical probability distributions. The model was validated through structural and behavioral validation before being used for sensitivity analysis and scenario experiments. The results showed that the inter-batch interval was the most dominant parameter affecting queue formation compared with batch size, screening duration, and consultation duration. The highest Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) values were found for the inter-batch interval, reaching 2.44 for the medical record queue, 1.95 for the screening queue, and 0.68 for the consultation queue. An improvement scenario that shortened the distribution interval toward a continuous release pattern successfully reduced the average consultation queue from 6.32 to 0.74 patients. These findings indicate that optimizing medical record distribution timing should become a primary priority for improving outpatient service efficiency. This study is limited to a single hospital setting and structural-behavioral validation; therefore, further research is required to improve the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports produces large volumes of gameplay statistics that remain underutilized beyond individual match summaries. This study compares K-Means and Hierarchical Clustering to group player playstyles using five gameplay variables (kill, death, assist, gold, and match duration) from 990 valid records in the MPL Cambodia Season 6 - BoxMatch dataset, following CRISP-DM preprocessing and Min-Max normalization. The Elbow Method identified K=3 as the optimal number of clusters. K-Means produced three interpretable groups - Carry/Damage Dealer, Late Game Fighter, and Sacrificial/Tank - with a Silhouette Score of 0.252 and a balanced distribution (42.6%, 18.5%, 38.9%), outperforming Hierarchical Clustering with Ward linkage (Silhouette Score 0.2203, less balanced distribution). The results were deployed into an interactive Flask-based web application for dataset upload, clustering visualization, and method comparison, which was validated through black box testing. This research demonstrates that combining clustering with web-based visualization can effectively reveal player playstyle patterns from competitive Mobile Legends gameplay statistics.

Abstract

The IT asset rental at PT Indonesia Comnets Plus has been facing issues with data fragmentation and conflicts in logistics distribution priorities. This study aims to develop a web-based asset management information system using the Laravel 10 framework and MVC architecture. The main solution implemented is a hybrid scheduling mechanism that integrates the Multilevel Feedback Queue (MFQ) and First In First Out (FIFO) algorithms. MFQ groups delivery queues into three priority levels based on rental dates, while FIFO ensures fair distribution within the same priority level. Function testing using Black Box Testing across five key scenarios, including Midtrans integration, a daily return penalty of 3.5%, and a due date penalty of 2%, showed 100% validity. This system successfully improves logistics efficiency and clarifies contract transparency.

Abstract

The selection of scholarship recipients in educational institutions often faces challenges in objectivity and transparency of the decision-making process. Manual selection processes are prone to assessor subjectivity and require considerable time. This study aims to develop a decision support system for scholarship recipient selection using hybrid Fuzzy-AHP and MOORA methods at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Daarul Ishlah Batam. The Fuzzy-AHP method is used to determine criteria importance weights by handling uncertainty in pairwise comparison assessments, while MOORA is used to rank students based on multi-criteria values. The system is designed as a web-based application using Laravel framework with MySQL database. Assessment criteria include academic performance, parental income, number of family dependents, non-academic achievements, attendance, and behavior. Research data uses 20 students with 120 assessment data for 6 criteria. Fuzzy-AHP calculations produce criterion weights with a Consistency Ratio of 0.0481, indicating excellent consistency. MOORA calculations successfully generate student rankings with the highest Yi value of 0.234156 to the lowest of 0.089234. System validation using black box testing shows a 100 percent success rate. This system proves capable of providing objective, transparent, and measurable scholarship recipient recommendations to support madrasah management decisions.

Abstract

Vape Paradise relies on the Qasir Point of Sale (POS) application to manage sales transactions; however, transaction data is still backed up manually, increasing the risk of data loss and reducing data availability. Previous studies have mainly focused on Network Attached Storage (NAS) as a local storage solution, while the integration of NAS with automated cloud backup for retail transaction systems remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to implement a hybrid cloud backup system by integrating a Samba-based NAS with Google Drive to provide automated and reliable transaction data backup. The proposed system was developed through network design, NAS configuration, automated synchronization using Task Scheduler and Robocopy, and system testing. Experimental results demonstrate that transaction files were successfully synchronized automatically to both NAS and Google Drive, while network connectivity achieved 0% packet loss, indicating stable communication during the backup process. The proposed hybrid cloud backup system enhances data security, availability, and backup efficiency, providing a cost-effective solution for protecting transaction data in retail business environments.
