Abstract

Empowering the people of Gampong Blang Reumah, Meurah Mulia District, North Aceh Regency in training in goat farming technical skills with the mawah system and simple financial reports has become a solution to increasing people's income and creating jobs in the village. The results of this service provide positive benefits for the community regarding appropriate knowledge and skills in raising goats with the mawah system and also understand how to prepare simple financial reports to manage their business. Communities are more confident and  independent and help them achieve a better life. This training also has a positive and sustainable impact in increasing people's income and creating jobs. With the cooperation and support from the local government, community and other related parties, it is ensured that the empowerment program will continue to be sustainable and will optimize the results achieved.

Abstract

In Indonesia, cassava, or cassava,bodin has important economic significance compared to other tubers. one of them is because cassava has very strong resistance in various climates, from planting to harvesting cassava also does not require large capital. Processed products from cassava can be found easily in Benteng Village, but the community ignores this one asset that has great potential to improve the community's economy. This community service aims to assist the community in optimizing sweet potato plantations to increase household income. This activity aims to provide efforts to develop assets on sweet potato plantations in Benteng village using the ABCD (Asset, Bassed, Community, Development) method, namely an approach that looks at the condition of the community in terms of the assets and potential possessed by the community. Using this method can improve the economy in Benteng village through sweet potato or cassava plantations. Based on the results of activities to increase the income of housewives and PKK, it can be concluded that the innovations and business ideas implemented can be a solution to increase the income of housewives in Benteng village.

Abstract

Economic development is one of the efforts to improve the community and village economy. One of the efforts to improve the economy is entrepreneurship in various ways. One of them is the manufacture of durian spring rolls which was developed in Paya Bili Dua Village. This assistance was carried out by KKN students at the Langsa State Islamic Institute. The goal is to improve the welfare and income of the village community individually and as a community through the ABCD (Assed Based Community Development) method—service data based on observations and interviews. The result of this dedication is a natural asset in the form of durian which is modified into lumpia durian. This assistance is through training on how to make lumpia durian, and process and market them, both traditional and modern through social media. This is done so that the community can manage existing natural assets effectively, efficiently, and modernly.

Abstract

Financial literacy education for children is not just about the introduction of money, but a concept about the introduction of wise financial management. Children are trained to have the ability to control financial spending. This service is carried out to see the importance of financial literacy education in children, how to instill effective financial literacy values ​​in children, as well as the role of the family and school in instilling the values ​​of financial literacy education in children. This service is carried out to see the importance of financial literacy education in children, how to instill effective financial literacy values ​​in children, as well as the role of families and schools in instilling the values ​​of financial literacy education in children. The method of writing this service is to use descriptive qualitative taken from various sources. to improve the ability to manage student finances, both teachers and parents should use a variety of methods in providing material or understanding of financial literacy. besides that, the use of interesting reading books about managing finances to encourage the interest of children or elementary school students is more motivated.

Abstract

This research seeks to bridge the gap in religious understanding among teenagers through a community service program. The program's focus is on teenagers in Dusun Bukit, Paya Bujuk Seulemak Village, Langsa City, who often face difficulties in comprehending religious and ethical values. The program aims to enhance their understanding of religion, tajwid (Quranic recitation rules), and foster good Islamic character. Over a span of three months, the training program is structured into four phases: introducing the Quran and its virtues, teaching tajwid, imparting religious knowledge, and nurturing Islamic ethics. The results of this community service initiative indicate that the teenagers have experienced improvements in their understanding of the Quran, tajwid, and religious knowledge. They have also displayed developments in their character and Islamic ethics, such as empathy, honesty, patience, and social concern. Despite encountering various challenges, such as conflicting schedules with work or education, the majority of teenagers have remained consistent in their participation. This research demonstrates the significance of community service programs in addressing the lack of religious understanding among teenagers. A strong religious understanding can assist teenagers in facing everyday challenges and in shaping good character. Furthermore, the program highlights the positive impact of involving parents in program activities in terms of increased support and teenage participation.

Abstract

Community Participation is a form of community participation to allocate their interests in the process of preparing activity plans to be implemented. Community participation is very important, so it really needs to be increased. Increasing community participation has various challenges, this is due to the diversity of people's own ways of thinking. Many things influence people's way of thinking, including environmental factors, educational background, and circle of friends. Therefore, researchers were interested in studying the issue of community participation, so the discussion topic was chosen, namely Increasing Community Participation. The method used is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method where the entire community participates in the implementation of this research. The results obtained in carrying out the KKN 41 STAIN MADINA work programs achieved 90% results and were declared successful. This can be seen from the changes that occur in society.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion and the Head of the State Civil Service Agency Number 574 of 1999 and Number 178 of 1999 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of the Functional Position of Religious Counselors and Their Credit Scores. Factors that encourage and hinder Islamic Religious Counselors in carrying out their duties and functions. Assessing the implementation of the duties of Islamic Religious Counselors in the community. This research with a gradual approach was carried out using interview data collection methods, FGDs, and documentation studies. Field data collection was carried out from April to May 2023 in Simpang Ulim District, East Aceh Regency. The research results show that Islamic Religious Counselors understand the contents of Decree Numbers 574 and 178 of 1999, but have not consistently implemented them in their duties. The Indonesian Ministry of Religion's empowerment of extension workers is still very limited so that its human resources are very limited and not very ready when dealing with a more dynamic society. So far, the number of Islamic religious instructors has not been comparable to the population in Simpang Ulim District, East Aceh Regency. Monitoring from the central Ministry of Religion to extension workers and the target community is not carried out so the results cannot be known in the community. Then, the facilities and infrastructure prepared by the government are very limited, thus hampering the performance of extension workers in the field.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance the competence of elementary school teachers in the Teacher Working Group (KKG) Gugus 3 Dian Pertiwi, Banawa, using interactive learning platforms Quizizz and Kahoot. Involving five lecturers from the English Education program and two students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Tadulako University, this training was attended by 30 teachers. The activity introduces and improves teachers' skills in integrating educational technology into the Free Learning curriculum. Training methods include presentations, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and Q&A sessions, allowing teachers to understand, design, and implement interactive quizzes in their teaching. Evaluation and feedback indicate a significant improvement in teachers' understanding and confidence in using both platforms. The training also facilitates collaboration among teachers and the development of individual action plans for implementation in the classroom. The results show that the training successfully enhances teachers' ability to integrate interactive educational technology, which is expected to impact student engagement and understanding in the learning process positively

Abstract

Certified halal food products have become an urgent need for society. Businesses are required to be sensitive to every change that occurs and place an orientation on consumer satisfaction. Especially in Indonesia, which is predominantly Muslim, businesses are faced with sensitivity to halal thayyiban food. Indonesia, as a country with the largest Muslim population, should have high halal awareness. However, public awareness regarding halal products, especially food, is still limited to not containing pork, even though the critical point for halal thayyiban products is very broad. This activity was carried out at the HN Cake’s home industry, Meurebo District, West Aceh Regency. This service method is in the form of training for students in prioritizing the principles of halal thayyiban. The aim is to be able to illustrate the implementation of the Halal Thayyiban concept and gain knowledge in the field of halal certification in a business. The aim of the activity is also to improve the concept of halal thayyiban in home industries that use halal tahyyiban materials in the form of theory and practice which can also generate economic value. This is applied in the processing of ingredients used in HN Cake’s home industy.

Abstract

Currently the New Hudep group has not prepared its financial reports properly. Therefore, the author carries out socialization regarding assistance in preparing financial reports for oil palm plantation cooperatives. The Hudep Baru group of Palm Oil Plantation Cooperatives still use simple recording of expenses and income, namely separately on another page. This is certainly not in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Apart from that, determining costs and calculating depletion are also not in accordance with PSAK. The Aceh Polytechnic Community Service Team provides assistance by providing materials and stimulating the New Hudep Group to be able to prepare their own financial reports every year.
