Abstract

Mutual cooperation is an activity that can reflect activities that are beneficial to other people. Therefore, the lack of public awareness in mutual cooperation activities can be a serious problem for building a society that cares about the environment. The location of this service is in Afdeling II Bukit Village, Aceh Province. The aim of this service is to increase community motivation towards mutual cooperation awareness in an effort to create community participation and create a healthy, clean and comfortable environment. The method used in this activity is a method of socialization regarding the importance of awareness of community participation in working together to create cleanliness and beauty of the surrounding environment. The real result of carrying out this service activity is that it can produce work in the form of installing signs with the names of Allah's obligatory attributes and hanging flower pots installed along the roads to create the beauty of the village. Apart from that, the community's sense of concern for the environment can grow and they can adapt further to routine habits of protecting the environment to help develop healthy, clean and comfortable villages.

Abstract

In this KPM activity we are required to be able to practice science, technology and art. We are expected to be motivators and facilitators of development efforts, especially in rural areas that have natural wealth. One form of service that can be done is by developing the natural wealth in the village. Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) is one approach to community development. The greatest strength in supporting the welfare of society is potential within oneself, society has been born, lived and developed so that it has assets. The expected goal is that KPM students will be able to train residents in the village in order to develop the natural wealth and local wisdom in the village. The method for implementing KPM activities is carried out in the form of outreach and training involving the community directly. One of the results that has been achieved from this KPM activity is natural wealth in the form of durian which has been developed into a traditional cake originating from Japan, namely mochi durian.

Abstract

The strategy of improving the quality of reading the Qur'an with tahsin is very important in order to achieve the word mutqin, in this MDTA the teacher only prioritizes mutqin for his students without prioritizing tahsin first. The purpose of this study was to determine the main challenges faced in improving the quality of reading the Qur'an in MDTA Kota Lintang, and what Tahsin and Mutqin Strategies can be applied to improve the quality of reading the Qur'an in MDTA Kota Lintang. The research method used in this study is Participatory Action Research (PAR) Research, which is one of the research models that seeks something to connect the research process to the process of social change which is included in it with observation, interviews, and learning (education). The results of the study showed that the main challenge faced by MDTA Kota Lintang was that there were no teachers who were experts in the field of tahsin, so teachers only focused on mutqin not on their tahsin. Then the tahsin and mutqin strategies provided by the students were to create learning about tahsin, as well as provide tahsin guidebooks that were distributed to students and teachers who teach at MDTA Kota Lintang Aceh Tamiang

Abstract

This study delves into social service initiatives in Pucangan Village, Kartasura, focused on educating the public about obtaining halal certificates and the significance of consuming halal products. Led by the Department of Sharia Economic Law (HES) at Raden Mas Said State Islamic University Surakarta, activities encompassed lectures, interactive discussions, evaluations, and result reporting. The primary aim was to familiarize the community with the Halal Product Assurance Law (UU JPH), fostering dialogue between residents and experts to exchange information, address concerns, and clarify ambiguities at the grassroots level. Furthermore, this initiative significantly contributed to the academic advancement and strategic objectives of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, while advancing the field of Sharia economic law in Indonesia. Findings demonstrate that the community service program effectively heightened local awareness of the halal certification process and emphasized the importance of consuming certified products. By assisting small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in navigating certification procedures more efficiently, the program has enhanced food quality standards in the area. Overall, these results underscore the program's success in closing knowledge gaps and promoting adherence to halal standards within the community.

Abstract

Laundry soap is an important product that cannot be separated from the activities of housewives in home care activities. On the other hand, the high demand is not comparable to the income level of the people in Gampong Barat Paya Iteuk who have lost their source of income because the rice fields are not being used. This prompted a team consisting of lecturers and six students to conduct training in making dishwashing soap. This activity has been implemented well and has invited positive responses from the training participants, namely housewives. Most participants want further education to develop entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

Abstract: The "Entrepreneurial Skill Enhancement Training" for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Malikussaleh University aims to equip students with practical skills and relevant knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship. In the rapidly changing era of globalization and digitalization, entrepreneurial skills have become crucial for enhancing individual competitiveness and driving economic growth. This program consists of a series of interactive workshops, seminars, and case studies covering topics such as business planning, digital marketing, financial management, and product and service innovation. Active participation from industry practitioners as speakers provides real insights into the challenges and opportunities present in the market. Through a hands-on learning approach, it is expected that students will not only understand entrepreneurial theory but also apply it in real-world contexts. Evaluation is conducted using pre-test and post-test methods to measure changes in participants' knowledge and skills. The outcomes of this training are expected to encourage students to be more proactive in creating business opportunities, thus positively contributing to the local economy and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region.

Abstract

The prayer room is a place of worship for Muslims, especiallyfor carrying out congregational prayers and functions as acenter for the development of Islamic education andpreaching. This research focuses on imarah management inmaking the Nurul Fatah Musala prosperous in DukuhSidorejo through the activities of the Ta'lim Council and theAl-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). The research results showthat the emirate is running well thanks to regular activityplanning. The activities of the Ta'lim Council, which isspecifically for mothers, and TPQ, which targets children,play an important role in improving the quality of religiouseducation. Teaching includes learning to read the Koran,memorizing prayers, and the basics of religion, usingcommunicative methods and ongoing guidance. The obstaclesencountered included the large number of children andlimited time, but were overcome by the learning while playingmethod. This research recommends improving learningmethods as well as developing further research on imarahmanagement in other prayer rooms.

Abstract

The Community Service Lecture Program (KPM) is an integral part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which aims to foster social awareness and develop students' capacity in empowering the community. However, the effectiveness of its implementation is often constrained by the lack of systematic mentoring strategies from the supervising lecturers. This study aims to analyze the lecturer mentoring strategy in optimizing the implementation of the community service program by KPM STAIN Meulaboh students. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a participatory approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation of student and supervising lecturer activities. The results of the study indicate that mentoring carried out actively, participatively, and in a directed manner can improve the quality of program planning, implementation, and evaluation by students. Students who receive intensive mentoring show better abilities in identifying community needs, designing programs based on local potential, and establishing effective collaboration with village stakeholders. The mentoring strategy also contributes to shaping students' character as agents of social change. It can be concluded that the active involvement of lecturers in all stages of KPM is the key to the success of impactful and sustainable service.

Abstract

The Serumpun Malay Community Service (KKN) is a community empowerment program carried out by students together with Field Supervisors (DPL). This activity took place from July 20 to August 27, 2024 in Sukaramai Satu Village, Seruway District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh. Sukaramai Satu Village has potential that can be developed, especially in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector and creative industries. The method used in the implementation of KKN is a participatory approach through socialization and direct training to the community at the Datok Penghulu Sukaramai Office. The results of this activity show an increase in community knowledge and skills in developing MSMEs and creative industries, which is expected to open up new job opportunities and improve the village economy.

Abstract

Through community economic empowerment, farmer groups in improving the economy of the community in Cempa Village through patchouli oil which is not only a high-value natural product, but also a natural miracle that supports local economic empowerment and sustainability. This research uses a descriptive method, the type of data used is skin, the data sources used are primary and secondary data while the data collection techniques used in the study are observation, interviews, and documentation studies.  It is hoped that the results of community empowerment will help farmer groups in improving prosperity by strengthening brand identity, seizing market opportunities, and committing to sustainability so that Cempa Village towards greater global recognition so that ultimately helping the community of Cempa Village farmer groups create opportunities and start their own businesses and become financially independent.
