Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-esteem dengan self-presentation online pada cosplayer usia dewasa awal pengguna Instagram. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 167 cosplayer yang terdiri dari perempuan maupun laki-laki yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menggunakan analisa korelasi Pearson yang menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara self-esteem dengan self-presentation online cosplayer usia dewasa awal pengguna Instagram dan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,473 sehingga menunjukkan hubungan antar variabel dengan arah yang positif. Artinya jika individu dengan self-esteem positif maka juga memiliki self-presentation online yang positif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forgiveness of adolescents who do not get emotional family support. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Until this study were teenagers who live in Surakarta with a sample of four people. The results showed that three subjects had forgiven their parents’ behavior and one subject had not forgiven their parents.

Abstract

Public speaking anxiety is a fear for many people, and college students are no exception. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulation and public speaking anxiety in college students. This type of research is a correlational quantitative research. The research hypothesis proposed is that self-regulation has a significantly negative relationship with public speaking anxiety. Respondents in this study were 150 students aged 18-25 years. The measuring instrument used in this study is a translation of the Short Self-Regulation Questionnaire scale compiled by Pichardo et al. (2013) (14 items, r = 0.852) and a modification of the Personal Report Public Speaking Anxiety scale compiled by Mortberg et al. (2018) (17 items, r = 0.909). The results showed that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher was accepted, namely that there is a significant negative relationship between self-regulation and public speaking anxiety in college students (r = -0.455; with p = 0.000). Based on these results, students who are be able to regulate themselves well, could overcome public speaking anxiety.

Abstract

Unemployment in Indonesia is still high, this is due to an imbalance between the number of job vacancies available and the number of job applicants. The consequences of being unemployed have an impact on a person's of shyness. The aim of this research is to determine the role of social support and each type (emotional support, instrumental support, informational support and companionship support) on shyness in unemployed young adults. The hypotheses in this research consist of a major hypothesis, namely that there is a role of social support in shyness. The minor hypothesis is that there is a role for emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and companionship support in shyness. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is a scale compiled by the researcher himself by referring to the symptoms of shyness from Henderson and Zimbardo (1998) and referring to the types of social support from Sarafino and Smith (2011). Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis. The research results show that social support has a role in shyness in unemployed young adults. The results of this research also show that the types of social support, namely emotional support and informational support, have a negative and significant role in shyness, so the hypothesis is accepted. The types of social support, namely instrumental support and companionship support, do not play a role in shyness, so the hypothesis is rejected. Meanwhile, emotional support contributed to shyness by 19.5% and informational support by 12.93%.

Abstract

Skizofrenia merupakan penyakit gangguan mental berat yang mempengaruhi dalam hal berpikir, persepsi, emosi dan perilaku dimana penderitanya sulit membedakan mana yang nyata dan mana yang tidak. Adanya gangguan berpikir ini membuat penderitanya memiliki kelainan dalam bertingkah laku dan berbicara. Merawat anak dengan skizofrenia merupakan hal yang tidak mudah dan mengalami perjalanan yang panjang bagi orangtua terutama seorang ibu. Munculnya beban dan beberapa efek buruk bagi ibu sebagai pengasuh tentu akan mempengaruhi proses perawatan yang diberikan dan penerimaan. Penelitian ini di lakukan untuk mengetahui proses penerimaan,serta faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi penerimaan masing – masing subjek. Subjek yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 4 orang yaitu seorang Ibu kandung yang merawat dan memiliki anak skizofrenia. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, tehnik observasi non partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara. Validasi data di lakukan dengan triangulasi sumber.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penerimaan keempat subjek melalui fase penolakan, kemarahan, tawar-menawar, dan fase penerimaan, meskipun terdapat perbedaan pada fase-fase tertentu. faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan masing-masing subjek adalah pemahaman mengenai diri sendiri, harapan, tidak adanya hambatan dari lingkungan, dan religius.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja tenaga kesehatan ( nakes ) yang dimediasi oleh motivasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research, penelitian ini menggunakan 90 responden. Penentuan besar sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, sampel diambil dari nakes Rumah Sakit X . Metode analisis data dalam pengujian instrumen penelitian menggunakan alat bantu SmartPLS versi 3.0 melalui tahapan analisa outer model, inner model, dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepemimpinan transaksional tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi karyawan, (2) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi karyawan, (3) kepemimpinan transaksional tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, (4) kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, (5) motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, (6) gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi, (7) gaya kepemimpinan transaksional tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh social comparison terhadap kecemasan sosial pada remaja pengguna media sosial di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisisioner pada remaja berusia 15-18 tahun di Jakarta yang aktif menggunakan media sosial. Menggunakan teknik sampling accidental, didapatkan 364 responden. Pengukuran variabel Social Comparison menggunakan alat ukur Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure (INCOM) dan variabel kecemasan sosial menggunakan alat ukur SAS-A. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil uji hipotesis membuktikan bahwa social comparison berpengaruh diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0.465 (46,5%) yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari social comparison terhadap kecemasan sosial.

Abstract

Emerging from the digital landscape of Indonesia, late adolescents have emerged as the most frequent users of the internet. Nevertheless, several issues linked to internet usage can precipitate a maladaptive behavior called Problematic Internet Use (PIU). Individuals plagued by loneliness appear to be predisposed to engaging in excessive internet access. This study aims to investigate the role of loneliness in Problematic Internet Use among late adolescents. The total sample size for this research comprises 309 participants, selected via the accidental sampling method. The assessment tools employed include the UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 and the Generalized Problematic Internet Use Scale 2 (GPIUS2). Data analysis entails the application of a linear regression test using SPSS version 26. The findings reveal that loneliness exerts a substantial 19.9% influence on Problematic Internet Use among late adolescents in Jakarta. Internet usage activities are demographic factors that differentiate PIU among late adolescents. This study highlights the importance of involving adolescents in positive academic and social activities and the need for intervention for wise internet usage.
