Abstract

Da'wah is the process of conveying Islamic values ​​in order to change the behavior of Muslims to be better. The interpretation of da'wah in society is the process of conveying messages that contain religious values ​​with various methods. In the delivery of da'wah there are two important things to note, namely the da'wah strategy (planning activities before carrying out da'wah) and da'wah methods (techniques used in delivering da'wah). This study connects two variables, namely the Da'wah Strategy and the Arts. The focus of the research is "First, to find out what are the da'wah messages contained in the art of hadroh carried out by the Council of Dhikr and Sholawat El Muhibbin, Second. To find out how the technique of delivering da'wah messages is carried out by the Council of Dhikr and Sholawat El Muhibbin". The purpose of this research is “to know the message of da'wah contained in the art of hadroh used by the Council of Dhikr and Sholawat El Muhibbin”.

Abstract

An institution must have goals and characteristics that distinguish it from other institutions. To achieve this goal, an institution, especially Islamic boarding schools, certainly requires a strategy, one of the strategies needed is a well-planned and correct communication strategy. Communication strategies are needed by Islamic boarding schools, especially regarding activities, such as entrepreneurial activities. Among the many Islamic boarding schools that equip their students to create generations of entrepreneurs is the Nuris 2 Jember Entrepreneurial Student Islamic Boarding School. The focus of the problems studied are: 1) How is the communication strategy at the Nuris 2 Jember Entrepreneur Student Islamic Boarding School to foster students' interests and talents in entrepreneurship? 2) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors of entrepreneurial activities at the Nuris 2 Jember Entrepreneur Student Islamic Boarding School to foster students' interest and talents in entrepreneurship? This research uses descriptive qualitative method. through observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the research: the strategy used by Islamic boarding schools is by inviting students directly about entrepreneurship. The first is by delivering material to the students and the second is by direct practice in the field. Then the inhibiting factor that occurs is the lack of maximum communication carried out by the tutor when carrying out actions or practicing in the field. While the supporting factors are communication goals, selection of media in communication, assessment of messages conveyed, and the role of communicators in entrepreneurial activities that are appropriate and quite good.

Abstract

The technological revolution in the media industry has had a significant impact on the consumption patterns of both society and individuals. The influence is not only on adults and teenagers but also on children. Media has a great power in shaping children's speech and behavior, formulating self-image, and determining expectations. Media Behavior (or habits of media use) is a fundamental concept formed by relatively fixed elements, namely social structure and media structure. Children need media literacy, a concept applied to media consumption patterns. This research was conducted at Full Day School Al Baitul Amien and SD Al Furqon Jember. This study aims to reveal the media habits of urban middle-class elementary school students. To obtain a picture of the behavior of elementary school children from the urban Muslim middle-class group in consuming media, especially television and smartphones. The results of this study found that elementary school children from the Muslim middle-class in Jember district utilize most of their time for social media, playing online games, and studying. They use social media more for communication and entertainment. Although television is available in their homes, the time spent watching TV at home is still within a tolerable limit, which is only 1 to 2 hours per day. Meanwhile, the duration of time spent using smartphones exceeds the tolerable amount, which is 2-6 hours per day, especially during school holidays. They use their phones for communication and entertainment through social media and online games. The rest of the time, they use their phones for studying purposes.

Abstract

Communication is one of the ways humans express themselves to others, either through speech or writing. However, on the other hand, there are agreed-upon rules and norms used in communication. In certain situations, proper communication can save the communicator, while poor communication can harm them in other situations. It is not uncommon for someone to speak freely to others without limits, especially if the other person is in a guilty state. This is different from what was taught by the Prophet when he communicated with the perpetrators of adultery who confessed to him. Based on this issue, the research questions in this paper are formulated as follows: 1) What is the communication pattern of the Prophet? 2) How did the Prophet communicate with the confessors of adultery? This study was conducted using a qualitative literature review method and using sociological theory. The findings from this study suggest that different treatments are given to the same case, and communication is done by using kind words, honesty, advising in goodness, and avoiding slander.

Abstract

Dakwah conveying the message of Islamic teachings. Dakwah at this time can be through mass media such as film, the movie Mencari Hilal has an interesting da'wah message. When determining 1 Syawal there are often pros and cons, such as Muhammadiyah, NU and the Government. Even though this film has been released for a long time, until now the movie Mencari Hilal is still being watched. The focus of the research: 1. What is the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth in the movie Mencari Hilal in Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis? 2. What is the missionary message in the movie Mencari Hilal? Objectives: 1. To find out the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myths in the movie Mencari Hilal, 2. To find out the meaning of the da'wah message in the movis Mencari Hilal. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The theory used is Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. To obtain data, researchers used observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of this study the researcher found the conclusion that the meaning of the denotation in the movie Mencari Hilal of the character Mahmud and his son, namely Heli, to look for the new moon. The mythical meaning of the film Islam teaches us to always have faith in Allah SWT. The message of Dakwah in the film Finding the Hilal is Faith in Allah SWT, prayer, fasting, reminding each other, at-tafaul (optimism), deliberation, ta’awun (mutual help).

Abstract

Implementation of learning in educational institutions can not be separated from the role of communication. Different from general communication, communication in education must have clear patterns and not be careless and apply good and correct methods. Research objectives: 1) To describe the communication patterns of aqidah moral teachers in the moral development of MA students at Raudlatul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, 2) To describe the supporting factors and obstacles encountered by teachers in the moral development of MA students at Raudlatul Jannah Islamic Boarding School also related to the problem of communication patterns that use. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study: the communication patterns carried out include one-way communication patterns, two-way communication patterns and multi-way communication patterns that play an important role in fostering student morals and ethics through the messages conveyed. This is supported by the commitment factor as well as the main vision and written regulations or rules of conduct at the Raudlatul Jannah Islamic Boarding School Islamic Boarding School. While the obstacles to the implementation of the application of communication patterns are: time, adequate and advanced technology, and the absence of Islamic boarding school educational background. At MA Raudlatul Jannah, the application of communication patterns in fostering morals has been running and is realized very well as evidenced by the application of morals in the school environment by students.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, human life was hampered, one of which economic sector, for example the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) sector in the footwear industry in Mojokerto City, namely UD Perdana and Athyyah. Entrepreneurs have difficulty getting raw materials, market share has decreased, public trust has decreased, the loss business partners has resulted drastic decrease in turnover and even not operating for several months. Therefore, need business communication strategy to restore conditions normal. The focus this research: 1)What are the efforts of UMKM to build communication their business partners in maintaining their existence during Covid-19 pandemic in Mojokerto City? 2)What is business communication strategy UMKM in maintaining their existence during Covid-19 pandemic in Mojokerto City? 3)What are the factors that hinder UMKM maintaining their existence during Covid-19 pandemic in Mojokerto City?. Research method used descriptive qualitativ. Data collection use observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman model. Validity of data using triangulation sources and techniques. The results of research: 1)The efforts UMKM to build communication their business partners through business communication, namely changes knowledge, attention, behavior. 2)The business communication strategy UMKM is through marketing mix strategy. UD Athyyah's product strategy: brand innovation, new types. UD Perdana: brand innovation, new models and types. Price strategy:cheaper if take directly on location. UD Athyyah's promotion strategy: digital advertising, UD Perdana: using personal selling. Place strategy in the form of flexibility in the distribution,direct collection of goods. 3)Inhibiting factors market share, government policies, social change, technological developments.

Abstract

To achieve success in the skills of the santri, it can be through muhadharah assistance, which requires continuous training, especially among supporters and executors (da'i) and generally among the younger generations. One of them is by holding assistance in an effort to study and develop students' skills in speaking and interacting in public. Research objectives: 1.) To explain the strategies for assisting public speaking students at the Nurul Huda Al-Muniriyyah Islamic Boarding School. 2.) To explain the activities of muhadharah activities as a public speaking strategy for students at the Nurul Huda Al-Muniriyyah Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study: the public speaking mentoring strategy can be carried out with mentoring, namely with the aim of the muhadharah supervisor being able to guide the students in practicing before appearing at the muhadharah activity, then holding a speech competition with the aim of training the mentality of the students in public speaking (public speaking). In order for students' public speaking to be better, a muhadharah activity is held once a month, namely on Monday nights and Tuesdays. Muhadharah activities begin with the MC, reciting the holy Qur'an, reading sholawat, speeches and ending with prayers. Through these activities, students will be better trained and able to speak in public.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the Korean Pop (K-Pop) fever which is very loved and crazed among teenagers today, especially students of UIN K.H Achmad Siddiq in the city of Jember. The flow of globalization is a factor supporting the accelerated spread of Korean Pop culture. The absence of media control over this Korean wave makes K-Pop freely influence the values ​​of religious behavior and cultural identity of its fans. This study aims to determine how the form of communication behavior and want to know how religious behavior before and after UIN KHAS Jember students become K-Pop fans. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive research type with a phenomenological approach model. Meanwhile, the data collection technique was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman and for the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of this study explain the closed and open communication behavior of K-Pop fan students. The behavior shown has led to the direct action and practice of the individual. Changes in religious behavior is that nothing has changed in terms of faith and worship because liking K-Pop and doing worship and a belief are two different things.

Abstract

The people of Jembrana sub-district who have different religions have let the government to create a forum that respects one another and tolerates the differences that occur. The importance of maintaining patterns of communication and interaction between people to be able to maintain friendly relations with each other. The exsitence of FKUB in jembrana sub-district is very important considering its diverse religious population to prevent conflict and uphold tolerance. The focus of this research is: 1) What is the communication pattern of the religious harmony forum in maintaining tolerance in the jembrana sub-district community jembrana regency Bali? 2) How is the community’s response to the forum for religious harmony in jembrana sub-district jembrana district Bali?. This study uses qualitative research with a case study type. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses techniques from Miles and Huberman. The conclusions from the research results are: 1) The communication patterns applied by FKUB in maintaining the value of tolerance in the jembrana sub-district community are by building interpersonal communication, group communication, and mass communication. Communication is carried out face to face (interpersonal) then each religious leader speaks verbally to his ummah to convey his own message, and group communication can be coordinated with religious leaders who are administrators of the FKUB jembrana district with cross-faith and the mass media. 2) the response of the jembrana sub-district community to the existence of the jembrana district FKUB was very enthusiastic and good.
