Abstract

In the current era of modernization, almost everyone uses the internet to help solve their problems. Including security activities. Currently, many companies provide security services. There are also many companies or individuals who are or want to look for companies providing security services but they don't know where to look for these companies because of the lack of information. Therefore, to make it easier for security service seekers and security service providers, a design is needed that can be a solution to the problems of both parties. It is hoped that the required design will meet the needs because it must go through several stages of testing in accordance with standards and the needs of potential users. UI/UX analysis and design involved 10 respondents from two actors, namely companies providing security services and companies or individuals seeking security services. The final design was tested by the same 10 respondents with four types of testing. Testing is carried out repeatedly until respondents feel that the design meets the needs of potential users.

Abstract

This research aims to apply the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in the context of procuring materials to support services at PT. XYZ. The implementation process begins with problem identification, literature study, data collection, identifying Odoo software, designing an ERP system using Odoo software, and implementing the system that has been designed. The results of the comparative analysis between the implementation of the ERP system application and manual processes show that the advantage lies in using the ERP system application using Odoo software. This application was successfully implemented, as proven by the results of the tests carried out. This success makes a positive contribution to effectiveness and efficiency in procuring materials for service work at PT. XYZ. This research also proposes recommendations for further research, namely the creation of a comprehensive integrated system in PT business processes. XYZ. The hope is that this research can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes as a whole.

Abstract

The field of architecture has undergone rapid development within both academic and professional circles. Digital architecture, a concise term describing the use of communication and information technology in the entire planning and design process, has significantly influenced architectural education worldwide. It serves as a means to bridge the quality gap between architectural education in developed and developing countries. In Indonesia, digital architecture has been a subject of debate since its inception, garnering both proponents and opponents. Many still hold the belief that computers are merely new tools, akin to drawing instruments, for architects. However, the current progress reveals the availability of numerous computer modeling programs that support architectural design. These programs enable the visualization of building conditions before construction, becoming commonplace tools in consultancy firms and educational institutions, embraced by both lecturers and students. Consequently, the impact of information technology on the evolution of the architectural world is evident. The growing reliance on digital modeling programs in architectural design demonstrates a paradigm shift. This technological influence extends beyond individual buildings to encompass urban modeling, both in physical and non-physical aspects. Therefore, it is understood that the influence of information technology will continue to grow in the architectural realm, with digital programs playing a pivotal role in supporting the building design process.

Abstract

WebGIS is an information system used to convey information equipped with digital maps.Pre-rous families are measured using the concept of the ability to meet basic needs (basic needs approach).The aim of this research is to determine the locations of families that are classified as pre - trade indicators and make it easier for village governments to map community data.This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method.The classic method that is still maintained by the Pandak Village should undergo changes in order to create progress and prosperity.

Abstract

Clean architecture is a method of application development that divides code into multiple layers based on the purpose of the code, ensuring minimal dependency. Popular architectures in Android application development include MVP (Model View Presenter), MVI (Model View Intent), and MVVM (Model View ViewModel). This research focuses on creating three applications with similar features and interfaces using different architectures. The study compares modifiability, testability, and performance aspects to determine the differences between each architecture. The results show that MVVM architecture is the best in modifiability, with the lowest number of index modifications. Testability requires no more than four scenarios for all architectures. However, MVI architecture outperforms in test coverage, and MVP architecture outperforms in performance. Overall, clean architecture is a valuable approach for improving the performance and usability of Android applications.

Abstract

Choosing a good machine and process to make a particular product requires basic knowledge about all the possibilities that occur during the production process. Therefore, material selection, machine settings and determining appropriate machining parameters need to be optimized to produce quality products. In the milling process, surface roughness is very important. From this surface roughness, an evaluation can be made whether the workpiece is acceptabel or not. The lower the surface roughness of a workpiece, the better the quality of the workpiece. The higher the surface roughness, the lower the performance of the components of the workpiece pair will be because it will increase friction on the components of the machine elements. This research aims to determine the effect of variations in feeding work movement, spindle rotation, and feed depth on the level of surface roughness resulting from conventional milling machining processes. This research also discusses which influences produce optimal surface roughness values in conventional milling machining processes. This research was carried out three times in one combination. Data collection on surface roughness values was carried out horizontally on the surface of the workpiece by taking data three times on the workpiece. The results of the statistical analysis prove that the feeding movement variable is proven to have a significant influence on surface roughness, while the optimum combination for the lowest level of surface roughness can be obtained with a feeding movement of 249 mm/minute (3rd test)

Abstract

The research proposes an innovative approach to identifying and positioning vehicle number plates using a combination of Maximally Stable Extremal Regions (MSER) and Harris Corner methods. The MSER method is used to detect stable regions on the vehicle number plate image. MSER has the ability to recognize areas that have significant contrast intensity, which often represents the characteristic of the number plate. After identifying the potential regions, the Harris Corner method was applied to determine the characteristic angles. The cross points on the number plate. The combination of these two methods allows for more accurate and reliable identification of the position of the number plate. In this study the author performs optimization by changing the preprocessing part and the part of the MSER method. In the preprosessing the author changes the morphological part of a filter, in the section of the method MSER adds input arguments such as ThresholdDelta, RegionAreaRange, and MaxAreaVariation. The results of this study are 99.27% accuracy, 82.73% precision and 83.14% recall. Previous studies were 98.85%, 67.61% and 79.66% recalls. Based on the results of these values, the study has successfully optimized previous studies.

Abstract

Today's technology is experiencing very rapid development, technological development is not only in hardware but also in software. In the world of education also can not be separated from the use of technology. Formerly a teacher in teaching used the blackboard to explain learning material, with the development of technology today there are many kinds of learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of cadets in the use of instructional media in Visual Cues courses. The benefits that can be obtained for lecturers can provide alternative learning media in conducting lectures. The results of this study are obtained a very good response from cadets because they have new experience in lectures on the Visual Signals course

Abstract

Universities certainly have a lot of important documents stored. Documents stored include scientific works in the form of journals. The journal that is kept has an identity so that if needed it will make it easier for people to find it. A library is a place to store scientific work, both in the form of journals and for storing other documents. The problem currently occurring is that there are so many documents or journals stored that it takes a long time for people who want to find information related to journals. The aim of this research is to provide a solution to make it easier for people who want to find information about many journals. The method proposed in this research is to use the information extraction method. Information extraction is the search for structured information such as entities and attributes. The stages carried out start from collecting the dataset which is then carried out preprocessing where this stage takes the form of converting documents with PDF extensions to documents with HTML extension. Apart from that, at this stage data cleaning is also carried out, meaning that at this stage it will be possible to create new paragraphs. Therefore, the new paragraph needs to be removed. Then the next stage is rule-based information extraction based on keywords and rules. The results of this research are that none of the 50 journal abstract documents failed so that the accuracy obtained was 100%. So the information extraction in this research can be used to search for information from journal abstracts.

Abstract

Of course, a soccer field needs water and the fertility of the field soil so that the grass can grow. The development of science and technology currently has a big influence on getting work done. A pump is a tool used to move liquids (fluids) from one place to another through pipes (channels) by adding energy to the fluid being moved and continuing continuously. Currently, many water pumps still use the manual method, namely using a switch or even just using a plug. Grass will also live if the soil has appropriate humidity, if the soil moisture level is low, the grass will die if there is excess moisture and it will not be able to grow. This problem certainly requires a solution that can help monitor soil moisture as well as control water pumps. By utilizing NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller technology as the control center, the YL-69 sensor measures soil moisture values ​​and also relays as a replacement for manual switches. To control pump conditions via Blynk.
