Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of raw material quality and production process on product quality in the Rigis brand coffee powder business in Kampung Kopi, West Lampung Regency. Raw material quality, primarily referring to the quality of coffee beans used in production, is considered a key factor in shaping the distinctive characteristics of coffee powder. Additionally, the production process involving various stages, such as roasting and grinding, is also believed to play a significant role in determining the final product quality. This case study is conducted to provide a deeper understanding of the interaction between raw material quality, production process, and product quality in the local coffee industry. The research method involves surveys with data collection through questionnaires and interviews with business owners and relevant stakeholders. Data analysis is conducted using regression techniques to test the influence of raw material quality and production process on the product quality of Rigis brand coffee powder. The results of this study indicate an influence of both raw material quality and production process on product quality.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate how online customer reviews and ratings influence purchasing behavior on the Shopee e-commerce platform. Utilizing online survey methods, data were collected from students at the University of Bandar Lampung who are active Shopee users to understand the relationship between online customer reviews and ratings with purchasing decisions. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to test the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. Findings indicate that both factors significantly impact purchasing decisions on Shopee. The implications of these results highlight the importance of managing and improving the quality of customer reviews and ratings to create a positive shopping experience and motivate more purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms. This research provides valuable insights for e-commerce practitioners to optimize their marketing strategies and brand reputation management on platforms like Shopee. By understanding the crucial role of customer reviews and ratings, companies can develop more effective strategies to enhance consumer trust and drive sales growth. Furthermore, this research contributes theoretically by expanding understanding of the factors influencing purchasing decisions in the context of e-commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Free Shipping Promotion Strategy (Ongkir), the Cash on Delivery (COD) Payment Method, and flash sales on Shopee sales in Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is the descriptive quantitative method. Purposive sampling is used, with a sample size of around 97 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple-line regression analysis. Based on the results of the t-test, it was found that the Free Shipping variable did not significantly affect the process of determining the purchase intention of Shopee users in Bandar Lampung city. Conversely, the Cash-on-delivery and flash-sale variables significantly affect Shopee users' modification of their purchase order in Bandar Lampung. Conversely, the cash-on-delivery and flash sale variables significantly affect Shopee users' purchasing decisions in Bandar Lampung city. Based on the coefficient of determination test, which results in an R Square value of 0.628, the free shipping, Cash on delivery, and flash sale variables affect the purchasing decision variable by 62.8%, with the remaining 37.2% being influenced by variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

One In the context of an organization, there are various resources that play an important role in driving its activities. However, it needs to be recognized that human resources play a very significant role in achieving success. In this era of intense competition, organizations are increasingly aware that the active participation of employees, which goes beyond their formal duties, is crucial to improving the overall effectiveness of the organization's employees. Problems at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Karang include high absenteeism rates and employee performance that has not reached the target. This study seeks to assess how individual attributes as well as the work environment influence the performance of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Karang employees. This research uses quantitative methodology to analyze primary data obtained through sending questionnaires to 56 participants. Secondary data was collected from various sources including literature, books, articles, scientific journals, theses, and related online information. Data analysis used multivariate linear regression on SPSS 27. The results showed that individual quality has a good but insignificant effect on employee performance, while the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results showed that the performance of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Karang personnel was influenced by individual characteristics as well as the work environment. Abstract

Customer service quality plays a crucial role in the success of an organization, especially in the energy supply sector such as PT PLN (Persero). This study aims to analyze the role of human resource management (HR) in improving the quality of customer service at PT PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Tanjung Karang. The research method used is a survey with questionnaires distributed to employees and customers of PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjung Karang. The results showed that HR management has a significant impact on customer service quality. Factors such as recruitment, training, and employee development have a positive relationship with customer satisfaction. In addition, internal communication, employee motivation, and reward systems also have an important role in improving employee performance and directly contribute to the quality of service provided to customers. This research contributes to the understanding of the close relationship between HR management and customer service quality in the context of the energy industry. The practical implications of this research can help PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjung Karang in optimizing HR management strategies to increase customer satisfaction and maintain competitiveness in a competitive energy market. The conclusion of this research provides a foundation for similar companies to better understand the importance of the role of HR management in achieving strategic goals related to customer service quality.

Abstract

This journal aims to investigate the effect of raw material quality as well as the production process on product quality in the chip business in Pringsewu Regency. Product quality has a very important role in determining the competitiveness and success of a business, especially in the chip industry, which is one of the leading commodities in the region. The research method used in this journal is a case study by collecting data through direct interviews with chip producers, direct observation of the production process, and analysis of product samples produced. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and regression analysis to measure the relationship between the variables of raw material quality, production process, and product quality. The results showed a significant influence between the quality of raw materials as well as the production process for product quality in the chip business in Pringsewu Regency. Good raw material quality, which includes cleanliness, purity, and consistency, as well as the implementation of good and efficient production processes, positively affect the quality of the final product.

Abstract

This research focuses on E-wallet Dana users found in Indonesia. It employs a quantitative research method to investigate various perceptions such as perceived ease, benefits, and trust, and their significant positive influence on the interest in using E-wallet Dana in Indonesia. The research utilizes a questionnaire as a data collection technique with SPSS 29. The population of this study is 150 million E-wallet Dana users in Indonesia, with a sample size of 100 respondents. The research involves various tests including instrument testing, classic assumption testing, multiple regression testing, and hypothesis testing. Partially, the findings indicate that perceived ease does not significantly influence the interest in using E-wallet Dana, whereas perceived benefits and trust have a significant impact on the usage intention of E-wallet Dana. Simultaneously, perceived ease, perceived benefits, and trust collectively exert a significant influence on the interest in using E-wallet Dana.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of product innovation as well as product quality for competitive advantage in One Florist MSMEs in Lampung. In the context of increasingly fierce business competition, product innovation as well as product quality are crucial factors when improving the competitiveness of MSMEs, especially in the florist industry. One Florist was chosen as the research subject due to its significant role in providing flower-based products with an innovative touch in the Lampung region. This study uses a quantitative method using owners and business actors at One Florist as respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire covering aspects of product innovation, product quality, as well as perceptions of competitive advantage. Regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses and identify the extent to which product innovation as well as product quality contribute to competitive advantage. The result of this study is that product innovation is not significant for competitive advantage, but product quality has a significant effect on competitive advantage.

Abstract

The research addresses the issue of inadequate employee discipline, as evidenced by absenteeism from 2019 to 2023. The objective of this study is to assess the impact of motivation and work discipline on employee performance. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involves the participation of employees from Rengganis Restaurant. The entire population, consisting of 64 individuals, serves as the respondents for this study. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, with the application of a regression analysis formula to test hypotheses. A Likert scale questionnaire is employed, and the data is processed using the SPSS 29 program. The findings reveal that, individually, motivation does not influence employee performance significantly, whereas work discipline has a considerable impact on employee performance. Furthermore, both motivation and work discipline collectively play a role in influencing employee performance.

Abstract

This article aims to find out whether the use of paylaters and lifestyle influence consumer behavior in the city of Bandar Lampung. The problem focuses on changes in the behavior of paylater users who are becoming more consumptive and prioritizing lifestyle. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents. In collecting data through questionnaires. The method for analyzing data uses multiple linear regression analysis via SPSS 29. The results of the research show that the use of paylater has a positive and significant influence on consumptive behavior as well as lifestyle giving a positive and significant influence on consumptive behavior. Simultaneously the use of paylaters and lifestyle provide a positive and significant influence on consumer behavior.
