Abstract

This study aims to analyze national water governance and sovereignty through an integrated literature review combined with a qualitative-descriptive case study approach. The study used 22 national and international scientific articles published between 2014 and 2026 as the primary data source. The analysis was conducted on aspects of hydroclimatology, nutritional vulnerability, coastal geodynamics, environmental economic valuation, water resource regulation, and technological engineering and community adaptation. The analysis results indicate that climate change causes a decrease in water availability, increases public health and nutritional vulnerability, accelerates land subsidence and relative sea level rise in coastal areas, and causes economic losses due to water resource degradation. On the other hand, the implementation of water governance still faces various institutional obstacles despite being supported by Law Number 17 of 2019 concerning Water Resources. Various technological innovations and community-based adaptations show potential in supporting the provision of clean water and sustainable water resource conservation. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the condition of national water resources and policy recommendations for realizing sustainable and equitable water governance

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires business organizations, from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to large corporations, to adopt integrated digital platforms. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a core component of modern Management Information Systems (MIS), integrating various operational functions into a single, centralized database. This article examines the implementation of ERP as an integral part of MIS by synthesizing empirical data from 20 previous journal articles. The analysis focuses on optimizing functional management (HR, Finance, Inventory, and Omnichannel Distribution), the real-world impact on financial performance and company value, and the structural and psychological challenges during implementation. The literature synthesis indicates that successful ERP system implementation can improve operational efficiency, data governance transparency, profit reporting accuracy, and accelerate inventory turnover. However, its contribution to increasing market value on the stock exchange is conditional and is strongly influenced by company size and the macroeconomic stability of the industrial sector. Internally, the biggest challenges lie in user discipline in timely data input and resistance to technological adaptation. While psychological factors such as work motivation have not been shown to moderate employee performance effectiveness systematically.

Abstract

Operational climate information is essential for rapidly interpreting meteorological drought risk at the beginning of the dry season. This study aims to analyze recent meteorological and climatological conditions in South Kalimantan using rainfall prediction, rainfall characteristic prediction, and the three-month Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) for June-August 2026. A quantitative descriptive method was applied using secondary data from BMKG, the South Kalimantan Climatological Station, and relevant regional climate-change literature. The results show that July 2026 rainfall in South Kalimantan is dominated by the low category, covering 95.9% of the province, while 4.1% is predicted to be in the medium category. Rainfall characteristics are predicted to be 100% below normal, and the three-month SPI indicates that 85.5% of the region is classified as slightly dry to extremely dry. The Indonesian mean air-temperature anomaly in June 2026 reached +0.7°C, emphasizing the importance of monitoring evaporation and water demand. These findings highlight the need for early preparedness in agriculture, clean water supply, land-fire prevention, and climate-based water-resource management.

Abstract

Industrial waste management is an important aspect in maintaining the sustainability of company operations and preventing environmental pollution. PT Natural Indococonut Organik (PT NICO) produces solid waste, liquid waste, and Hazardous and Toxic Materials (B3) waste that require systematic risk management and control. This study aims to identify the types and sources of waste, describe the waste management system, and analyze the level of waste management risk using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method. The study uses a descriptive research type with a case study approach. The research population includes the entire waste management system at PT NICO, while the sample consists of data on types, sources, generation, and waste management systems obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments include observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and continued with the FMEA method through assessments of Severity, Occurrence, Detection, and calculation of Risk Priority Number (RPN). The results of the study showed that liquid waste had the largest generation of ±3,328 liters/day, while the risk with the highest RPN value was leakage or seepage of liquid waste (RPN = 112), followed by errors in storing B3 waste (RPN = 96). The conclusion of the study showed that PT NICO's waste management system has been running well, but still requires improvement in the aspects of monitoring, recording waste generation, and risk control so that waste management becomes more effective and sustainable.

Abstract

Workers exposed to chemicals, allergens, and irritants are at risk of developing occupational skin diseases (OSDs), particularly contact dermatitis or hand eczema. In the batik production process, workers are potentially exposed to batik wax, textile dyes, detergents, solvents, and water, which can increase the risk of skin disorders. This study aims to describe the characteristics of workers and the incidence of hand eczema among batik industry workers. The study used a quantitative method with a descriptive observational design and a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of seven workers selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire covering respondent characteristics, allergy history, hand eczema history, skin condition, workplace exposure, and use of personal protective equipment. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using frequency distributions and percentages. The results showed that most respondents had no history of hand eczema or complaints of work-related skin diseases. A small number of respondents had a history of eye allergies and a history of itchy rashes on the hands, which are predisposing factors for skin disorders. In addition, most workers did not use protective gloves while working. Although the prevalence of hand eczema in this study was still low, repeated exposure to chemicals still has the potential to increase the risk of occupational skin diseases. Therefore, the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) programs, the use of personal protective equipment, improving personal hygiene, and education regarding the prevention of skin diseases need to be continuously improved

Abstract

Consumer acceptance of herbal drinks remains a challenge due to their bitter taste and strong spice aroma. This study aims to analyze the effect of the proportion of palm sugar and granulated sugar on the sensory quality of herbal drinks made from rhizomes and to determine the best formulation based on the results of sensory tests and nutritional content analysis. The study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The study population was herbal drink formulations with varying sweetener proportions, while the sample consisted of three treatments, namely the proportion of palm sugar and granulated sugar of 300:200, 400:100, and 500:0. Data collection used a sensory test sheet on a scale of 1 to 5 assessed by 35 panelists. Data were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA and Duncan's advanced test at a significance level of 5 percent, while nutritional content was analyzed using the Weibull, Kjeldahl, Luff-Schoorl, and Atwater System methods. The results showed that the proportion of sweetener had a significant effect on color attributes (p < 0.05), but did not significantly affect aroma, taste, aftertaste, and overall preference. The best formulation contained 0.42% fat, 0.86% protein, 9.18% carbohydrate, 8.90% total sugar, and 43.96 kcal energy per 100 mL. It was concluded that the proportion of 400 g palm sugar and 100 g granulated sugar produced the most balanced sensory quality, was efficient for production, and had the potential to be developed as a functional herbal drink that was more acceptable to consumers.
