Abstract

The health of the elderly has a significant impact on a number of diseases. Hypertension is one of the illnesses that is frequently observed in the elderly. Blood flow to the heart muscles will become restricted if the heart's blood arteries are damaged. This may contribute to heart attacks, which raises the risk of falls in older people with a history of high blood pressure. The aim of this study are correlation between the risk of fall with incident of hypertension in the eldery. The design of this study used cross- sectional study. The population of study are elderly with hypertension in Lumbangsari Village, Bululawang District, Malang Regency, Indonesia. The sample of this study 58 respondent and used total sampling. Instrument of this variable used questionnaire. An overview of the degree of fall risk in older adults with hypertension is the variable under study. Analysis of this study used spearmank rank. The result of this study show that of the level of risk of fall in elderly hypertensi. Eldery who have high risk of fall (48.3%), moderate risk of fall (27.6%) and small risk of fall (24.1%). Level of hypertension are hypertension grade 2nd (48%), hypertension grade 1st (34%) and prehypertension (18%). There is positive correlation between level of risk and incident of hypertension with R=0.67 and p- value= 0.02. These results are influenced by several factors, namely age, gender, education, occupation, income, disease, smoking, excessive salt consumption. Based on this research, it can motivate elderly, to better maintain their diet and always maintain safety and health. Risk of fall eldery with hypertension can be decreased with preventive measures that can be given to the eldery.

Abstract

Since covid- 19 condition in Indonesia, the goverment has encouraged implementation of limited offline learning as a step to restore lost competencies during online learning period. Offline learning in the middle of a pandemic makes parent that their children necessary to achieve maximum educational goals. The aim of this study are parent’s readiness to implementation offline learning. The design of this study used descriptive study. The population of study are 68 parent. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample is 42 children, collected data used questionnaire sheet. The research site is in SDN Kanigaran 03 Probolinggo, East Jawa, Indonesia in June- July 2023. The result of study showed that almost half of the respondent, readiness of parent in offline learning 48% ready, 28% well readiness, and 24% less readiness. The sample of this study 58 respondent and used total sampling. Instrument of this variable used questionnaire. An overview of the degree of fall risk in older adults with hypertension is the variable under study. Based on this research, it can motivate elderly, to better maintain their diet and always maintain safety and health. Risk of fall eldery with hypertension can be decreased with preventive measures that can be given to the eldery.

Abstract

Introduction The problem of hypertension has become a hot topic of discussion and has become one of the priority health problems in Indonesia and in the world, because hypertension is the most common cause of cardiovascular events. Hypertension is also referred to as the "silent killer" because hypertension often does not show complaints and signs and symptoms so that patients do not realize that they have hypertension. The aim of this study was to determine adherence to medication in hypertensive patients at the Trio Husada Clinic, Lowokwaru, Malang. Method This research used descriptive research design. The population in this study were all 45 patients suffering from hypertension at the Trio Husada Clinic, Lowokwaru, Malang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a sample of 30 patients. Instrumen used questionnaire based on variable compliance of taking medicine hypertension. Result Data analyzed used univariant analysis.The results showed that low compliance are 73%, and high compliance 27%. Based on the results of the study, it is expected to continue to provide information and education on a regular basis so that hypertensi patients understand the importance of medication adherence to control their hypertension

Abstract

Background Pregnant women's satisfaction with Antenatal Care (ANC) services has a significant impact on the quality of maternal and neonatal care. The aim of this research is to determine the description of pregnant women's satisfaction with the Antenatal Care Service at the Puri Bunda Mother and Child Hospital, Malang City. Methods This research design used quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The population in this study were all pregnant women who had an antenatal care visit at Puri Bunda Hospital, Malang in March 2023. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling with a total of 90 research respondents. Measuring tool with a questionnaire sheet to measure patient satisfaction in antenatal care services. Data analysis uses univariant analysis. Result The research results showed that patient satisfaction was 50% very satisfied and 50% satisfied. This is expected to provide an overview of pregnant women's satisfaction with Antenatal Care services at hospitals in providing antenatal care services.

Abstract

Background Stunting is a condition of failure to grow in children so that children are too short for their age. Mother's behavior also influences children's stunting, especially the pattern of providing nutrition to children. The researcher's aim was to determine the behavior of mothers in fulfilling nutrition for stunted children aged 6-24 months in Tanjungarum Village, Sukorejo District, Pasuruan Regency. Method This research method is a quantitative research study with a descriptive research design. This population is all mothers in Tanjungarum Village, Sukorejo District, Pasuruan Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample for this research was 90 mothers in Tanjungarum Village, Sukorejo District, Pasuruan Regency. This research was conducted in April-June 2022. The measuring instrument used a questionnaire sheet. Results The research results show that almost all mothers' behavior in providing nutrition for stunted children behaves adequately, 63%, a small portion behaves inadequately, 20%, and a small portion behaves well 17). It is hoped that this research can be used as a source of information for mothers, especially for mothers who have children who are stunted so that the children grow and develop well during their growth period.

Abstract

Background Uncontrolled hypertension can cause complications of hypertension. The codition of increasing complications of hypertension is influenced by the lack of hypertensive self-management behavior. One of them is the lack of healthy living behaviors such as smoking, eating a high meaning of salt and lack of monitoring of blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of self-management of hypertension sufferers in Malang Regency. Method This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The population of this study was hypertension sufferers in Malang 40 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. This research was conducted on June- July, 2023. Data collection instrument using HSMBQ questionnaire (Hypertension Self- Management Behavior Quetionnaire). Result The results showed that hypertension self-management behavior almost entirely (85%) had sufficient self-management. A small percentage (10%) have less self-management, and (5%) have good self-management. Based on the analysis of the question items, the results of self-management of people with low hypertension were obtained on indicators of self- integration, self-regulation, and blood pressure monitoring. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that people with hypertension can apply hypertension self-management, it can also be an input and consideration to apply the correct self-management behavior in preventing complications and recurrences of hypertension

Abstract

Young adult women are victims of body shaming or critics regarding skins color, and body size. A person who have negative image because she only focused on self - image, not recognizing his own strength and potential. A negative self - image refers too much to other people's assessment of themselves, hows judge their body image or their physical condition The design of this study used descriptive study with cross - sectional approaches . The population of study are women of early adulthood . The sampling technique used consequence sampling with 60 samples size . Variables of this study was body image of young adult women . Instruments of this study using questionnaire . Analysis of this study used univariate analyzed. The results of this study shows that of body image disturbance 90% and less body image disturbance 10%. These results are influenced by several factors , age , gender , marital status, community and experience of body shaming . Based on this research, it can motivate that early adult women can develop a positive self - concept so that they will create satisfaction with their positive body image and positive coping mechanisms .

Abstract

The aging process in the eldery will affect a person’s level of independency. It means that eldery no longer take care of themselves, in this case the eldery were very dependent on their families. The role of the family it selfis highly expected by eldery to assisst in their family needs. The aim of this study was to describe the role of the family in the fullfillment of personal hygiene in the eldery in Pasuruan Regency. The design of this study used descriptive study with cross - sectional approaches. The population of study are eldery families and use total sampling were 80 respondent. The research location is in Pasuruan Regency on April 2024. Variables of this study was family role in fulfillment personal hygiene needs of the eldery. Instruments of this study using questionnaire. Analysis of this study used univariate analyzed. The results of this study shows that the role of family in fulfillment personal hygiene in the eldery in Pasuruan Regency with 80 respondent. It was found that the most of them had a good family role in 55% and 45% had a sufficient family role in fulfillment personal hygiene needs in eldery. These results are influenced by several factors age, education, knowledge, occupation, gender. Based on this research, it can motivate that early adult women can develop a positive self - concept so that they will create satisfaction with their positive body image and positive coping mechanisms

Abstract

Nutritional problems are more susceptible to being experienced by children, especially toddlers. Nutritional disorders in toddlers (1-3 years) will affect the quality of life in the future. The purpose of this study was to describe the nutritional status of toddlers (1-3 years). The research design used a descriptive design. The population of this study was all toddler age children at Posyandu Duta Sehat 5 Ngawonggo Village, Tajinan District, a total of 30 toddler age children. Sampling used a total sampling of 30 children. This research was conducted on 1-3 April 2022. The research instrument used an observation sheet based on the results of anthropometric measurements of WAZ/HAZ. The results of the study found that the nutritional status of toddlers was mostly 66% with good nutritional status, a small portion of 20% with poor nutritional status, a small proportion of 7% with poor nutritional status and 7% overweight nutritional status. It is hoped that the mother of all toddlers more creative in choosing and preparing food ingredients for children under five so that nutritional problems do not occur at the age of toddlers.

Abstract

One of the problems of parents who have toddler are toilet training children is that they don't understand their children's readiness, some parents are busy with work or are lazy about taking their children to the toilet. The failure of children aged 2-3 years who use diapers is a lack of parental, psychological and mental readiness. The aim of the research is to determine the toilet training in toodler who use diapers. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The population in this study were all toodler who used diapers in Distric of Kedungkandang Malang City, a total of 55 children. Sampling uses purposive sampling. This research was conducted on 04 - 10 June 2022. The research instrument used was univariate or frequency distribution. The research results showed that the majority of respondents were unsuccessful, namely 60%, and a small number of respondents were successful 40%. These results illustrate that the success of toilet training in children aged 2-3 years who use diapers is mostly unsuccessful. Based on the research results, it is hoped that we will continue to provide education and learning about toilet training for success, which requires maternal readiness, physical readiness and psychological readiness.
