Abstract

Calibration now has an important role in determining the operational suitability of measuring instruments in various fields. Currently, equipment, especially measuring instruments for public and public facilities, has not yet been properly calibrated according to existing regulations. Calibration is carried out to ensure data validity Which produced frommeasuring instrument. Calibration acts as a process to ensure the accuracy, precision, and reliability of measuring instruments. This article investigates several literatures related to the role of calibration in improving the quality of measuring instruments based on calibration methods that can be used according to the urgency. The results of assessing the operational feasibility of equipment or measuring instruments are determined through a calibration process. Apart from that, calibration can be carried out using several methods such us the single point calibration method, multi point calibration method, and reference instrument calibration method. Reviews based on useful calibration literature in the fields of health, environment, technology, maritime and aviation. Implementing appropriate and documented calibration is important in supporting valid data on medical devices, scientific research, traceability of sensors from a new system, guaranteeing data reliability, and providing reliable services, as well as having a positive impact on various aspects of life and technological development.Keywords—Benefits of calibration; Calibration; Calibration method; Measuring instrument; Traceability.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Inventory adalah sistem informasi yang mengelola data transaksi dan persediaan dalam gudang. Perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi umumnya memerlukan Sistem Inventory.Sistem Inventory biasanya terdiri dari Sistem Penerimaan Barang, Sistem Pembelian Barang dan Sistem Gudang. Sistem ini harus dapat memberikan informasi inventory seperti informasi pengeluaran barang, pembelian barang, penerimaan barang dan informasi lain secara cepat dan akurat, selain itu sistem dapat mempermudah kerja user.Perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang catering (jasa boga) khususnya untuk layanan penerbangan biasanya memilik isistem inventory khusus. Sistem inventory umum (paket) jika diterapkan untuk perusahaan jasa boga biasanya memiliki kelemahan-kelemahan yang secara umum mempengaruhi efisiensi kerja user. Masalah-masalah tersebutmisalnya mekanisme transaksi yang masih mengunakan hubungan one to one, masalah portioning, spoil, retur, masalah perhitungan biaya produksi, desain basis data dan backup data transaksi. Masalah lainnya adalah sering terjadi kesalahan pada sistem baik saat melakukan proses pelaporan atau proses lainnya.Guna mengatasi permasalahan Sistem Inventory tersebut maka dibuat Sistem Informasi Manajemen Inventory yang khusus dipergunakan pada sebuah perusahaan jasaboga pesawat udara. Beberapa mekanisme dan rancangan basis data tetap mengacu pada sistem yang telah ada sehingga proses-proses pada aplikasi sistem akan relatif sama. Sistem ini dapat memberikan informasi permintaan barang ke gudang (Store Requisition), pengeluaran barang (Stock Transfer), permintaan pembelian barang (Purchase Requisition), pembelian barang (Purchase Order), penerimaan barang (Receiving), Informasi mengenai barang yang telah rusak (Spoil), pengembalian barang (Retur) dan informasi inventory lainnya. Rancangan basis data menggunakan dua database untuk menanggulangi masalah volume data transaksi. Setiap akhir tahun akan dilakukan backup transaksi, yaitu pemindahan data transaksi dari database aktif ke database history sehingga beban volume data transaksi pada database aktif akan berkurang dan sistem dapat bekerja lebih cepat, selain itu proses pemelihaaran akan menjadi relatif lebih mudah.

Abstract

The usage of computer based information management system on companies are very helpful on company'sgrowth, information management system process the data and make it into in formations that we're needed by thecompany for making decisions. One of the information management systems that often used is Human ResourceAdministration Information System. The development of a company makes a company have to own a humanresource function that capable to handle certain processes related to the company's personals. One of the examples isHuman Resource Administration Information System on Hotel Besakih Sanur, The Human Resource AdministrationInformation System has several processes, and these processes are still being done manually so they haven't beenable to give an effective an efficient result. This fact is the cause for building a human resource administrationinformation system that used information technology, so that it will be capable of managing the human resourcefunctions.System that is being build is applied by making the web based Human Resource Administration InformationSystem application using AJAX, this application also being completed by automatic absence application by usingfingerprint technology. The analysis that was being done is the analysis on user grouping, the usage of AJAX ondata processing, user interface, reporting, and the usage of fingerprint.Testing of the application is being done byinputting some data with a certain amount so that it would be known that the system can still work fine with a bigamount of data. But to avoid a big data growth especially on absence data, the system will move the data to a newtable each year. Usage of fingerprint in course of absence facilitate in inclusion of absence data.

Abstract

The emergence of harmonics caused by electrical loads that are not linear. Input of harmonic current can cause sinusoidal. Content that exceeds the limit can cause poor power quality. The level of harmonic distortion or called Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) on the network causes losses and voltage drops, which affects the efficiency of the transmission network system. Harmonic attenuation is the right choice to reduce harmonic current (THDi). Based on the IEEE 519-1992 standard the expected harmonic current must be below 5%. In this study an active filter has been designed to be able to drain the harmonic current contained in the system using the 6 pulse converter on Statcom.

Abstract

Toothache is a disease commonly experienced by humans, therefore must be treated immediately to prevent serious impact. One of the initial treatments is to consult a dental expert. Current technological developments have been able to transform an expert's knowledge into a digital form called an expert system for easy and fast access. Currently, most expert systems are based on the web and Android/iOS platforms. The development of an expert system based on web applications or Android/iOS faces several challenges. The challenge is that it requires a lot of development time and costs because it has to develop an interface and requires a server with good performance. The challenge faced from the user's side is that more storage space is needed to install an expert system on smartphones. The solution proposed in this study is to develop an expert dental disease diagnosis system using the Breadth First Search Method based on instant messaging. One of the most popular instant messaging in Indonesia is LINE Messenger. This research succeeded in developing a dental disease diagnosis expert system based on LINE Messenger that is easily accessible and capable of diagnosing diseases with an accuracy rate of 90.9%.

Abstract

The high interest of mountain climbers in Indonesia also increases the risk of accidents that can occur in climbing. To reduce this risk, we need a tool system that can assist local officers in monitoring the location and condition of climbers. However, due to the many signal limitations and internet connections in mountainous terrain or rural areas, there is a need for other alternative media that can be used to monitor climbers' location and conditions. The LoRa (Long Range) communication module can solve the mountain's limited signal and internet connection. Navigation uses the LoRa SX1276 module based on Radio Frequency (RF) as the transmission medium in the 915 MHz frequency range. The data transmission uses the repeater principle as a bridging medium between devices which can then be displayed via the Android application via Cloud Firestore or Bluetooth media. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the system works well in transmitting data via Radio Frequency (RF) with an average RSS reduction of -5.1 dBm every 45 m at a radius of 450 m, Cloud Firestore with an average delay of 0.3855 seconds and Bluetooth with reduced RSSI of -5.5 dBm every 5 m with a maximum radius of 50m. Abstract

Meningkatnya kebutuhan akan tenaga listrik, menuntut suatu sistem tenaga listrik yang mempunyai keandalan dalam penyediaan dan penyaluran dayanya. Untuk mengetahui keandalan dalam penyaluran tenaga listrik, perlu diperhitungkan indeks keandalannya.Untuk mendapatkan indeks keandalan pada penyulang-penyulang pada GI. Padang Sambian digunakan metode Simulasi Monte Carlo (SMC). Metode ini adalah suatu prosedur simulasi untuk memperoleh indeks keandalan dengan memakai bilangan acak. SMC disimulasikan melalui program yang dibangun dalam BahasaPemrograman Matlab v6.1.Hasil simulasi menghasilkan indeks jangka waktu kegagalan (r) yang nilainya hampir sama yaitu 3,0 jam/kegagalan sedangkan indeks frekwensi kegagalan (λ) dan indeks ketidaktersediaan (U) nilainya bertambah besar apabila saluran bertambah panjang. Besarnya indeks sistem SAIFI = 1.88975, SAIDI = 5.702071, CAIDI = 3.01736, ASAI = 0.99935 dan ASUI = 0,00065. Histogram indeks keandalan menunjukkan bahwa indeks berbeda setiap tahun.

Abstract

Radiasi pada dasanya adalah suatu cara perambatan energi dari sumber energi ke lingkungannya tanpa membutuhkan medium. Gelombang radio, sinyal televisi, sinar radar, cahaya tak terlihat, sinar-x dan sinar gamma merupakan contoh-contoh gelombang elektromagnetik. Tingkat paparan gelombang elektromagnetik dari berbagai frekuensi berubah secara signifikan sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi yang menimbulkan kekhawatiran bahwa paparan dari gelombang elektromagnetik ini dapat berpengaruh buruk terhadap kesehatan fisik manusia. Banyak kalangan mengklaim bahwa gelombang elektromagnetik yang dipancarkan oleh alat-alat listrik dapat mengganggu kesehatan pengguna dan orang-orang yang berdiri di sekitarnya. Anggapan ini dibenarkan oleh para ahli bidang telekomunikasi, namun tidak sedikit pula bantahan-bantahan oleh beberapa pihak yang menyangkal sebaliknya.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to help a company gas or chemical companies to determine the point of a gas leak. To find out the point of the gas leak, it is necessary to create a robot capable of exploring the underground passageway and has the ability to detect scent strength of gas, so that the point of the leak can be found .. One of the application of robotics technology in accordance with the conditions of underground passageways are a robot that has a combination of Wheeled Robot Arm Robot and 6WD. Due to the design of the robot can roam the surface conditions are not flat and has the ability to balance its body. The results achieved in this study is that the robot can detect the presence of butane gas use TGS2600 sensor. In addition, the transmission of information from the robot to use XBee interface software has been successfully carried out. So that the operator controls the robot can monitor the condition of the robot. Delivery of image information from the robot to the operator can be performed via the S-video channel then transferring images from the camera to the laptop.

Abstract

Kombinasi antara sistem MIMO (multiple input multiple output), OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing), dan spread spectrum serta adanya teknik pengkodean kanal mampu mengurangi efek fading dan error yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan performansi dari sistem MIMO MC-DSSS (multi carrier-direct sequence spread spectrum) Uncoded atau tanpa pengkodean kanal dan MIMO MC-DSSS Convolutional Code atau dengan pengkodean kanal Convolutional yang melalui kanal Rayleigh Fading, ditinjau dari nilai dan grafik BER (bit error rate) berbanding Eb/No (energy per bit to noise power spectral density ratio). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simulasi dengan menggunakan program Matlab R2015a. Hasil dari simulasi didapat unjuk kerja sistem MIMO MC-DSSS dengan Convolutional Code memiliki hasil yang lebih baik dari MIMO MC-DSSS. Pada kanal transmisi Rayleigh Fading untuk mencapi nilai BER sebesar 10-3 pada sistem MIMO MC-DSSS dengan Convolutional Code dibutuhkan Eb/No sebesar -7 dB. Sedangkan pada sistem MIMO MC-DSSS dibutuhkan Eb/No sebesar -3 dB.[turnitin 20%, 7-11-2016]
