Abstract

Pendaftaran Mahasiswa Baru pada susatu institusi pendidikan seperti STMIK STIKOM Bali adalah sebuah kegiatan yang rutin dilaksanakan setiap tahun ajaran baru. Dimana pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru tersebut selalu meningkat dari tahun ketahun namun calon mahasiswa yang melakukan pendaftaran tidak semua yang melanjutkan kelangkah registrasi dari sejumlah calon mahasiswa yang sudah dinyatakan lulus. Hal ini akan menjadi sangat terlambat untuk mengambil tindakan apabila ternyata mahasiswa baru yang registrasi sangat sedikit jumlahnya. Dengan tidak diketahuinya mehasiswa yang registrasi, maka pihak – pihak perguruan tinggi tidak dapat mengetahui dengan pasti kapanjumlah target penerimaan mahasswa baru tercapai Dalam permasalahan ini penggunaan teknik data mining diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan – pengetahuan yang sebelumnya tersembunyi di dalam gudang data, sehingga menjadi informasi yang berharga bagi organisasi. Pada penelitian ini model klasifikasi dan frequen pattern di buat untuk mengidentifikasi pola data dan kemunculannya untuk kelas status “lanjut” atau “mundur pendaftaran”. Beberapa task mining digunakan untuk memprediksi calon mahasiswa yaitu dengan teknik klasifikasi dan teknik Frequent Pattern yang mengektrak model dan menggambarkan kelas data penting. Algoritma yang digunakan adalah Decision Tree dan Apriori. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk implementasi adalah WEKA. Kata Kunci— Data Mining, Klasifikasi, Decision Tree, Frequent Pattern.

Abstract

A Rate of Change of Frequency (ROCOF) relay works based on rate of frequency changes (df/dt) that is a direct indicator of power unbalance between generation and demand. The df/dt indicator make ROCOF relays have a promising opportunity for under frequency load shedding. Examining the performance of the proposed ROCOF relay scheme for under frequency load shedding become the research objective. The proposed scheme consists of five load shedding steps and they were supervised by Under Frequency Relay (UFR) to avoid mal-operation due to short circuits. The scheme was assessed using generation loss simulation with contingency of N-1, N-2 and N-2-1 with Digsilent Powerfactory. It is found, for N-1 and N-2 contingencies, the proposed scheme provide better frequency results and faster than UFR scheme. However, there is a problem with the sensitivity of the scheme that is adjusted by delay setting. For light to medium power of generation loss, the required delay is relatively large to obtain the true df/dt value from the measured df/dt that tends to oscillate. However, for severe generation loss, the large delay setting causes the relay to be less sensitive hence a small proportion of the relays do not work at all expected steps.

Abstract

One of the disturbances that occur in the medium-voltage switchgear or cubicle 20 kV one of the disturbances that occur in cubicle 20 kV is when the temperature and humidity conditions are high, then one-day water vapor will arise that sticks to the cubicle wall and affects the corona. Therefore, the cubicle has a heater to heat the space to maintain the humidity. However, when in the field, the heater performance condition is often less than optimal and does not work. Under these conditions, a temperature and humidity monitoring system and a control system for two heaters are needed to prevent damage to the heater. The system is built using the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller, the DHT-22 sensor is equipped with an exhaust fan to maintain the cubicle termination room temperature. The minimum permissible temperature parameter is 35 C to a maximum limit of 40 C with humidity below 90% following the cubicle brand datasheet, Schneider, and IEC 62271-1 standard. Furthermore, the data from the monitoring can be displayed on the LCD and a website-based Geographic Information System. With this tool, it can facilitate the community, especially the PLN, in the process of monitoring and maintaining cubicles 20 kV.

Abstract

Penggunaan energi listrik merupakan suatu kebutuhan primer untuk seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Untukmenunjang perkembangan dari sarana penggunaan energi listrik harus dibuat handal, salah satunya dengankeamanan yang cukup tinggi dan dapat dipergunakan secara efektif serta efisien. Pada saat sekarang ini, PLN mulaimencanangkan program penghematan energi listrik.Dalam makalah ini akan dianalisis penggunaan sistem kontrol untuk penerangan pada Villa Allila Tanah Lot.,yang mana ditujukan untuk mendapatkan penghematan energi listrik yang tentunya tidak lepas dari kenyamananpengguna villa tersebut.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penghematan energi listrik pada penerangan sebesar 0.9296kWH/hari. Di dalam villa Alila Tanah Lot yang mempergunakan kontrol sensor gerak dan fitting sensor geraksebesar 0.0527 kWH/hari dan menghemat 9.36% dari energi listrik yang digunakan untuk penerangan di dalam villaAlila Tanah Lot. Sistem kontrol penerangan di luar villa Alila Tanah Lot dapat menghemat sebesar 0.8769kWH/hari dan menghemat 4 % dari energi listrik yang digunakan di luar villa Alila Tanah Lot.

Abstract

Mobile learning becomes new life style in modern era. In view of the fact that mobile phone turns into basic need of people. However most people live in rural area only affords cell phones with General Packet Radio Service GPRS facilities. Yet telecommunication infrastructure in rural area does not support 3G facilities. Therefore the paper investigates performance of mobile learning in GPRS network. The purpose of the paper is to enlarge e-learning facilities to people with GPRS facilities. Overall the paper shows that good performance of mobile learning in GPRS network. The results present excellent packet loss and good delay. However throughput is slightly poor.

Abstract

Secara garis besar ada 3 jenis pengukuran yang dikenal sebagai pengukuran popularitas halaman web, yaitu:Popularitas Link, Popularitas Hit, dan Popularitas Trafik dimana dalam implementasinya popularitas linksangat erat kaitannya dengan cara kerja Search Engine Optimatization (SEO). Saat ini perkembangan dari situs webPemerintah Daerah memang meningkat pesat, namun baru dari segi kuantitas sedangkan sebagian besar pengelolasitus web Pemerintah Daerah belum mengoptimalkan efektifitas situs webnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmelakukan pemeringkatan situs web e-Government Pemerintah Kabupaten dan Kota di Provinsi Bali berdasarkanpopularitas link free tools link popularitas checker yang dapat melihat dan mengukur kinerja situs web seperti Alexa,SEOQuake, dan Tools.Pingdom.Com. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang peramalan EUR/USD menggunakan metode RBF-NN (Radial Basis Function – Neural Network) tanpa optimasi dan RBF-NN yang dioptimasi dengan 3 model AG/AGA (Algoritma Genetika dan Algoritma Genetika Adaptif). Sistem RBF-NN dapat diterapkan pada data dengan karakteristik nonlinear dan fluktuatif seperti data EUR/USD. Permasalahan akurasi muncul jika terjadi solusi lokal dalam sistem RBF-NN dan metode AG/AGA dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi solusi lokal tersebut. Keakuratan dari peramalan ditunjukkan lewat nilai MAPE (Mean Absolut Percentage Error). Pada data daily low, metode terbaik adalah Algoritma Ge­ne­tika II dengan MAPE sebesar 0,2286, sementara pada data daily high metode terbaik adalah Algoritma Genetika Adaptif II dengan MAPE sebesar 0,2190. Metode AG II dan AGA II didukung teknik pencarian di dekat bobot RBF-NN yang terbukti efektif pada kasus mata uang EUR/USD. Perbaikan akurasi yang diberikan AG II dan AGA II terhadap metode RBF-NN dapat diterapkan pada peramalan mata uang lainnya.

Abstract

Many documents were distributed on the Internet every day. Not all of the text in a document is important information. To seek information from documents that are widely used methods Information Retreival (IR). Research in the field of Information Retreival (IR) has been made since the 1950s. Document retrieval system is a system that can search for documents by keyword, but the retrieval of the document will encounter problems if they have to seek specific information from the document a polynomial with the number of constituent documents of text that amount is not small. Automatic Text Summarization combines two methods of graph method and the method of ant colony optimization and use features four sentences. Four features the phrase used, namely: the similarity between sentences, sentences that resembles the title of the document TF-ISF and TF-IDF. Tests performed include: testing the summary results of the system with the summary results of the manual to get the 76.3%, the test results summary system with the summary results Autosummary tools in Microsoft Word to get the 68.15% and the test results summary system with the summary results of the expert that high school teacher, getting the 78.43 %. Results compression rate to get the system summary 78.2%.

Abstract

The process of describing parts of the human body, to be able to find any disease that exists in the body parts caused by bacteria and viruses is called the Medical Image. CT Scanning, MRI, X-Ray, is a medical image that is commonly found in general in the form of analog data. The amount of important information contained in medical images causes the size of the medical image file to be relatively large. The need for large data storage media and long delivery times is caused by large medical image data. This study aims to realize a fractal-based medical image codec by testing its performance on several coding entropy techniques. The analysis of this study was based on the PSNR, Image Size and Time Taken needed to compress one image. The conclusion obtained from this analysis shows that the Arithmetic method has more advantages in the field of PSNR, Compression Ratio, Size Image produced along with Time Taken in the compression process, where 15 images of 100% images are better results using the Arithmetic method than by using the Adaptive Huffman method. Abstract

Creating questions on an exam is a complex process, because this process requires knowledge and takes a long time to make. The process of creating questions can be done more easily, quickly, and structured with the Automatic Question Generator (AQG) system. This application uses the Text Matching Method to find keywords in a paragraph, where the Expected Answer Type (EAT) method would identify these keywords. The EAT method helped to identify the type of answers in a paragraph therefore the type of questions would be recognized. The types of questions used are 5W + 1H consisting of Who, Where, When, Why, What, How, and How Many.The next method is the Template Based Method which played a role in compiling the question sentence based on the pre-registered template. The questions were produced using the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy concept, where these questions consisted of categories (1) remembering; (2) understand; (3) apply; (4) analyze; (5) evaluate; and (6) create. The trial result in 14 learning materials, showed that the application could generate 826 questions with an average level of accuracy of 89%.
