Jurnal Budi Pekerti Agama Kristen dan Katolik with e-ISSN : 3031-8378, p-ISSN : 3031-836X published by Asosiasi Riset Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia. The purpose of publishing this journal is to publish the results of scientific studies and research in the field of Christian Theology, especially those with Evangelical-Pentecostal characteristics, and the field of Christian Education. Jurnal Budi Pekerti Agama Kristen dan Katolik accepts articles and book reviews from various sub-disciplines of Christian and Catholic Theology and Education, especially those with Evangelical-Pentecostal characteristics. Articles submitted must have never been or are not in the process of being published in another journal. Articles submitted must be in accordance with the written instructions or in a predetermined format. Editors will reject articles that do not meet the requirements without further processing. Articles that meet the requirements will be assessed for eligibility by the reviewer through a blind-review process. This journal is published 1 year 4 times (March, June, September and December)

<![CDATA[In this era of globalization, women as leaders are not only in the secular world. Women's leadership in the spiritual world has emerged, one of which is when a woman is appointed as a pastor. To become a good leader, you can prepare yourself by learning about leadership. However, there are also those who have not had the chance to learn about leadership but have been appointed as leaders. This happens when a pastor's wife is suddenly appointed as a church leader in urgent conditions due to the death of her husband. This case was experienced by several pastors of the JKI Synod of the Semarang Regional Coordination as pastors replacing their husbands who died. In this study, the author aims to find out when a leadership transition occurs, is the pastor's wife ready to lead? How does the congregation respond to the transition of leadership from husband to pastor's wife? When the transition occurs, is there progress or decline in terms of the number of congregations, church management systems. In this study, the author uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Where the author collects data by interviewing participants as a source of information. In addition to interviews, literature related to leadership is also used. Thus, it is expected that the results of this study can provide a solution when there is a transition of leadership in the church, the wife is ready to shepherd by having leadership skills so that it will not cause problems when someone accepts the transition of leadership and can be applied in Christian leadership]]>

<![CDATA[Marriage in the Christian context is considered sacred because it is established by God as a depiction of the union between Christ and His church. However, the current reality shows a lack of holiness in Christian marital relationships. This writing addresses this issue by referencing biblical texts and the realities of Christian life. This paragraph explores theological views on the husband – wife relationship, emphasizing the importance of Christ's love and humility in marriage, as taught in Ephesians 5:22-25. Additionally, it highlights the importance of premarital counseling in preparing couples for the challenges of marriage. Psalm 90:10 is also used as a guide for facing difficulties and suffering in life. By considering biblical guidance and life realities, this writing emphasizes the importance of involving God in every aspect of marital life. The research method used is a theological approach, examining various biblical texts connected to Ephesians 5:22-25 and theologians' interpretations.]]>

<![CDATA[This study examines the servant leadership of Jesus Christ as a model for Christian educators in an effort to realize social harmony towards 2045. Using a qualitative method involving literature analysis and in-depth interviews with a number of Christian educators, this study aims to explore the understanding and application of servant leadership principles in an educational context. The main focus of this research is to explore the values that Jesus taught, such as unconditional love, empathy, collaboration, and humility, and how these values can be applied in an educational setting. The research also analyzes the impact of applying these principles on the formation of students' socially sensitive characters and their ability to contribute positively to society. The results are expected to provide practical recommendations for Christian educators in creating an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment. By forming students who are not only academically smart, but also have social awareness, it is hoped that they can become agents of change who bring positive impact in facing social challenges in the future. Through the application of Jesus' servant leadership, this research seeks to demonstrate the relevance of Christian values in creating a harmonious and equitable society in Indonesia in 2045.]]>

<![CDATA[This study focuses on the involvement of the Church in interpreting pluralism in Indonesia. This article describes the efforts of the Catholic Church in addressing diversity in Indonesia through two different but complementary research approaches: quantitative method using questionnaires and qualitative method involving literature review. The quantitative approach involves data collection through questionnaires distributed to various members of the Catholic Church. The numerical data generated from the questionnaires are then statistically analyzed to identify patterns, preferences, and common views related to the synodality and diakonia of the Church. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach involves in-depth analysis through literature study, encompassing an understanding of the concepts of synodality and diakonia of the Church, as well as a review of literature relevant to the Indonesian context. This article aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the role of the Catholic Church in addressing differences and promoting unity in the multicultural context of Indonesia. Thus, this article is expected to make a valuable contribution to the understanding and discussion of the challenges and potential of the synodality and diakonia of the Church in unifying diversity in Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[In the digital era, technology plays an important role in designing learning that is more interactive, personalised and adaptive. This research examines the role of learning technology in learning design through a qualitative approach based on a literature review. The use of technology, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI), shows potential to increase student engagement as well as provide a more flexible learning experience. Blended learning approaches are also proven to increase engagement and provide flexibility in the learning process. In addition, technology supports competency-based learning that enables real-time evaluation of student progress through learning analytics. However, there are challenges in implementing technology, such as the digital divide, teacher readiness, and infrastructure limitations. Therefore, the successful integration of technology in learning design requires support from educational institutions and policies to provide adequate training for teachers and appropriate technology infrastructure. This study concludes that technology integration in learning design provides significant benefits in improving learning quality, but still requires a systematic and adaptive approach.]]>

<![CDATA[Divorce is a reality that occurs in the church with various complex causal factors ranging from economic problems, domestic violence, infidelity, quarrels and several other causes. Divorce causes deep emotional wounds and various deviant behaviors in both children and their parents. Children become sensitive individuals, easily angered, depressed and even have suicidal tendencies. This research was conducted at five GBIs located in West Jakarta. The research sources were five people from teenagers to adults whose parents were divorced. This type of research is field research and the author uses qualitative methods. The research results show that divorce is indiscriminate, it can happen to congregations and servants of God. The divorce that occurred in five GBIs gave rise to complex deviant behavior such as LGBT and suicidal thoughts. The author's findings show that the problem of parental divorce does not cause children to abandon their worship as much as 80% of respondents and only 20% have a major impact. Meanwhile, at school, there was no visible decline in children's grades. As many as 80% of respondents showed good enthusiasm for learning and achieving achievements at school. The remaining 20% of their learning achievement decreased. From this analysis it can be concluded that the impact of divorce on children's worship and school grades is very small.]]>

<![CDATA[Every Sunday, the church holds a sermon, but it’s only one-way. In order to ensure that God’s Word is applied by the congregation, community life within the church is the most effective way. In a cell community there is a 3P process (Shepherding, Discipleship, and Outreach). A cell group leader who has a Shepherd’s Heart is a very influential key to the success of 3P. By forming a core team within the group, new potential leaders will emerge in the cell community, so the discipleship process can be said to be successful. There is no “one man show” in a healthy cell community. In this case, the intrinsic factor of a leader (having a personal relationship with God) plays a major role in the successful growth of cell community members. It cannot be denied that God gives growth (Corinthians 3:6-8). 3P is also influence by extrinsic factors (the relationship between the leaders and members), where a leader is expected to be a mentor who provides exemplary with the goal of bringing members into a right relatonship with God, building to full maturity in Christ, so that they can multiply the whole process in others as well.]]>

<![CDATA[The experience of losing a parent has an impact on a child's life. When this event occurs, you will experience a feeling of loss which ultimately causes grief. In fact, this event had a physical, emotional and spiritual impact because of the child's grief over the death of his parents. Situations like this ultimately cause trauma to the person, therefore a healing process is needed for people who experience abnormal sadness. The purpose of this article is to describe a trauma-based approach to dealing with abnormal grief in adolescents whose parents have died. This research uses a qualitative literature method with a literature review using a content analysis approach. This study provides insight into the definition of pathological grief and trauma healing. Symptoms of excessive mourning experienced by adolescent children after the death of their parents. And knowledge about how to overcome grief using a trauma healing approach.]]>

<![CDATA[Forgiveness is a word that is often heard, but is difficult to implement. Giving forgiveness is not based on the size of the mistake committed, but all mistakes must be forgiven. You also need to know that giving forgiveness is not just to forget, but because forgiveness is an obligation for everyone. By giving forgiveness, what happens is peace. Forgiveness is not a verb that must be questioned, but forgiveness requires intention and must be done.This article uses qualitative methods and a literary approach with descriptive analysis of the text of Matthew 18: 21 – 35, in order to explain the research object precisely. <![CDATA[This writing aims to determine efforts to prevent feelings of loneliness and fear of death in the elderly. Elderly people are more likely than young people to feel lonely and afraid of death. The elderly are closely related to the relationship between parents and their children (family). This relationship begins in the womb, continues with the birth process and takes care of the child.The method used in writing this journal is a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study and literature review approach. The steps taken when writing this topic include researching and reading various references such as books, magazines and online news portals related to this topic. Next, the author will explain and explain comprehensively. Then, the author draws conclusions and explains from the perspective of Christian ethics.The research results show that elderly people have various problems, resulting in different efforts or steps in each aspect of problems in life. Elderly people must try to remain active in their daily activities (for example: worship, social gathering, elderly exercise, hobbies), prepare health costs, arrange visits and recreation schedules with children and grandchildren, and receive support and love from family, neighbors and more relatives. easily prevent feelings of loneliness and fear of death.]]>
