Abstract

MRSA infection that is growing and limited treatment is evidence that the handling and treatment of the disease is still inadequate so that appropriate drugs are needed as antibacterial against MRSA, the development of natural products, one of which is the dayak onion plant (Eleutherine bulbosa) which has the potential as antibacterial can be done with computational methods, one of which is molecular tethering, molecular dynamics and ADMET prediction. This study aims to predict the ability of natural compounds from dayak onions as antibacterial MRSA. Tethering and molecular dynamics are performed using AutoDock 4.2 and Yasara Dynamic software. The results showed that compounds with the greatest antibacterial potential were eleucanainones with binding energy of -11.91kcal / mol. The results of molecular tethering are then continued with molecular dynamics simulations. The results of molecular dynamics simulations show that the compound has a Root Mean Square Deviation (RMSD) value that is close to the native ligand. Conclusion: Dayak onion compounds (Eleutherine bulbosa) have potential as antibacterial MRSA

Abstract

Hypertension, often termed "The Silent Disease" due to its asymptomatic nature, remains a global health concern. This study investigates the comparative effectiveness of Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers (ARBs) and Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACEIs) in managing hypertension, focusing on Valsartan and Candesartan (ARBs) and Ramipril and Captopril (ACEIs). Analyzing retrospective data from Community Health Centers in Solo City, the research aims to provide nuanced insights into outpatient care scenarios. The meticulous statistical analysis, utilizing SPSS and t-tests, uncovers notable differences, particularly favoring Valsartan and Ramipril within their respective drug classes. These findings carry substantial implications for healthcare practitioners, aiding in the development of precise treatment guidelines. Understanding the comparative clinical effectiveness, safety profiles, and tolerability of ARBs and ACEIs ensures a more personalized approach to hypertension management

Abstract

Botanical studies form a cornerstone in pharmacy, providing insights into the therapeutic potential of medicinal plants. Acalypha indica L., commonly known as "Anting-anting," holds a significant place in traditional medicine. This research focuses on the macroscopic and microscopic analysis of Acalypha indica L. simplisia, aiming to contribute to its pharmacognostic profile and enhance the standardization of herbal formulations. The exploration encompasses its historical context, traditional uses, chemical constituents, and in vitro anti-arthritis activity. The study employs advanced tools, including optical and electron microscopes, for a comprehensive examination. The macroscopic analysis involves meticulous observation of external features, while the microscopic examination delves into cellular and tissue structures. This research aligns with contemporary pharmacognosy, bridging traditional knowledge with scientific approaches, fostering a deeper understanding of medicinal plant potential

Abstract

A comparative study is an activity that aims to increase the knowledge and knowledge that will be applied in the future to improve. This type of activity is particularly good for the performance of the organisation, the 2017 President's election has shown something different from the perception and doubts that have previously emerged in the public about peace and stability, In the 2022 President's election, the Timorese has determined who is the President of the country for the next five years. The problem identified by this research is that the 2017 President of the Republic's elections have shown a different from the precepts and doubts that have previously emerged in the public about the peace and stability of the 2017 President's elections (CNE) and (STAE) - which have a general supervision mandate and implement this competence respectively, transmit confidence in their management capacity and offer a good and inclusive elections. Many of the voters came to vote and were able to exercise their right to vote in secret, free from any interference and in a calm environment
