Abstract

Energy audit is a technique used to obtain the efficiency of a building with a certain method. Continuous research implementation is expected to be able to identify electrical efficiency and the purpose of data analysis is to obtain electrical energy efficiency to calculate the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) value in the building. Energy audits can also be carried out at any time or according to a predetermined schedule. Regular monitoring of energy usage is a must to find out the amount of energy used in each part of the operation during a certain period of time. Thus, savings efforts can be made.

Abstract

In the curcumin compound there are aromatic compounds that have electronic spins on each side of the benzene. In previous research, the concentration of curcumin and H2O as coatings on copper coils could provide physical changes to the characteristics of copper coils, namely increasing the strength of the magnetic field and increasing the electric current in the coil. The fuzzification process can be described using membership variables with concentrations of curcumin and H2O as input, magnetic field strength and current as output. It is known that the greatest concentration of curcumin indicates increased magnetic field strength and electric current. Simulation of the aromatic spin on the curcumin compound as an Op Amp shows that the highest curcumin concentration value results in an increase in the output voltage (Vout).

Abstract

PLN as an electricity provider that serves all regions in Indonesia certainly always wants to provide the best service to its consumers, including PT. PLN Persero UP3 Gresik. Along with the increase in consumers, the company continues to develop distribution lines, however, because the addition of more and more lines makes the distribution cables longer and the load becomes greater, resulting in voltage drops and power factors decreasing in several feeders, including in the feeder network. LOWAYU, causing poor power quality.This research aims to find and obtain the magnitude of the power flow which includes active power, reactive power, apparent power and the magnitude of the power losses (losses) contained in the LOWAYU feeder network, the magnitude of the voltage and voltage drop on each bus on the network. LOWAYU feeder using the backward-forward method. And determine the value of reactive power required for the capacitor on each bus that experiences a voltage drop. Then a comparison will be made between the results of manual calculations using the backward-forward method and the results of simulation data using ETAP Power Station 19.0.1 software.From this research, it can be seen that the safe limit for the voltage drop value is still below 5% or above 5%, so it is necessary to add capacitor banks to improve the power factor and reduce the voltage drop value on distribution network buses that experience voltage drops.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines queue system simulation in hospitals across four key service areas: emergency departments, outpatient clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies. Following PRISMA methodology, 72 relevant studies (2015-2020) were analyzed to identify simulation models, software tools, performance parameters, and emerging trends. Findings reveal Discrete-Event Simulation dominance (59.7%), with increasing hybrid model adoption integrating System Dynamics and Agent-Based approaches. Emergency departments remain the primary application focus (52.8%), while Arena and AnyLogic emerged as predominant simulation platforms. Patient waiting time (91.7%) and resource utilization (77.8%) constitute the most evaluated performance metrics. Technological convergence trends demonstrate integration of real-time data analytics, machine learning, and digital twin concepts into traditional simulation frameworks. This review contributes methodological insights for optimizing hospital queueing systems while identifying research gaps in cross-departmental model interoperability and comprehensive value-based performance evaluation within contemporary healthcare systems.

Abstract

West Sumatra, situated at the convergence of the Indo-Australian and Eurasian tectonic plates, experiences frequent earthquakes and aftershocks due to the complex geological setting. This study utilizes the Omori-Utsu method, a modified version of Omori’s law by seismologist Tokiji Utsu, to estimate aftershock duration. Data on aftershocks from significant earthquakes (magnitude ≥5.5M) between 2021 and 2023 were accessed through the BMKG earthquake catalog. The study finds that aftershock durations vary significantly depending on the earthquake's tectonic origin. The longest recorded aftershock duration occurred after the West Pasaman earthquake on February 22, 2022, lasting 21 days, while the shortest was one day following the Mentawai earthquake on September 11, 2022. These variations highlight the influence of tectonic structures on aftershock activity, with subduction zones exhibiting shorter decay times. This research provides critical insights into earthquake behavior, aiding in disaster preparedness and mitigation strategies for the West Sumatra region.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based school management information system that can improve the efficiency of education administration. In today's digital era, many schools face challenges in effective data and information management. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify and analyze relevant literature related to the development of web-based school management information systems. The results showed that the development of a web-based school management information system is generally able to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of education administration management, starting from data processing of students, teachers, finances, to reporting. The system supports transparency, speed of access and accuracy of information within the school environment. Although the results show consistent benefits, this research still has limitations in the number of sources and a relatively narrow study, so a broader and more in-depth follow-up study is needed.

Abstract

Admission of new students is an important process in the world of education that requires efficiency, accuracy and good data management. However, in many institutions, this process is still carried out manually so it is susceptible to recording errors, data duplication, and takes quite a long time. One of them is at SDN 15 Batu Nanggai. This research aims to design and build a new computerized student data collection information system to support the registration process more effectively and efficiently which will later be useful for dapodik operators in meeting data needs for student administration. This system was built using web-based technology with main features such as online form filling, automatic data verification, and data storage in a structured database. By implementing this system, it is hoped that it can increase the speed of the data collection process at SDN 15 Batu Nanggai, minimize data input errors, and make it easier for the school to manage new student information in real-time. The test results show that the system is able to work well and is well received by users as a digital solution that facilitates the administrative process of collecting new student data at SDN 15 Batu Nanggai.

Abstract

An effective project management system is a crucial need in software development and other IT projects. This study aims to design and evaluate a web-based project management information system with integration of collaboration, scheduling, and reporting features based on real-time data. This study adopts a combined approach from three previous studies, namely a NodeJS-based collaboration system, a CodeIgniter project management system, and a PERT-based evaluation approach. The implementation results show increased teamwork efficiency, reporting accuracy, and managerial ability to anticipate project obstacles. This system is suitable for application in various scales of IT projects.

Abstract

During this process of monitoring the contents (volume) of the patient's urinary catheter manually, the nurse must go around one by one to the patient's inpatient room to ensure the contents (volume) of the patient's urinary catheter. This process takes quite a long time while patients who use urinary catheters at the hospital are not small. In addition, if the patient's urinary catheter monitoring process is still done manually, sometimes the medical team or nurses often miss or forget, that the urine bag (catheter) is full. The purpose of this study is to design an Internet Of Things Based Urine Bag Monitoring. The research method used in this study was experimental. The population in this study was 65 TREM study program students with a sample of 40 respondents. Based on the average score table of the Simplicity, Interactivity and Usability surveys. The results of the score calculation using the Likert scale from the Simplicity, Interactivity and Usability factors of urine bag monitoring testing that has been carried out using questionnaires to respondents have shown a high score that is almost close to the value of 5 based on calculations carried out using the Likert scale which indicates that this urine bag monitoring tool can be well received by respondents. It is expected to be developed as material for further research related to monitoring urine bags using applications that can usealarms on users' smartphones and can also use batteries on urine bag monitoring tools

Abstract

This study aims to determine the working system of the Qpro Ex Muratec Winding Machine at PT Budi Texindo Prakarsa. This study focuses on knowing the working system of the muratec Qpro EX winidng machine. As for what will be explained about the working system of the sorting and structuring winding machine, how the system works, and about the outside of the muratec qpro ex winding machine. In addition, it explains about special maintenance and control on the muratec qpro ex winding machine. The research method with the observation method where in this method makes direct observations to be able to find out the process of rolling yarn, literature studies sourced from references to journals, articles, books, and so on, the documentation method used by taking sample images of the observed machine parts.
