Abstract

A search engine is a tool used to find on the internet by entering the desired key words or phrases, for example if you search for information about cars with information using a search engine, you will get results in the form of a list of websites that contain information about cars. Search engines are very useful because they allow you to find the information you need quickly and easily. This will be even better if a word/keyword filtering system is combined which is used to filter words or phrases to promote local products. Word filters can also be used to avoid the use of inappropriate words or phrases in a particular context. In this research, I used the API from Bing to get data. The results of this research are in the form of a web application that can filter keywords entered by the user, the keywords that have been input are filtered and if there are dirty words then these words will be deleted, after filtering the keywords it will then proceed to the Bing API for search for articles that can be read by users.

Abstract

The STMIK Amikom Surakarta Assistant Forum is a forum under the UPT STMIK Amikom Surakarta which aims to assist the system of teaching and learning activities in STMIK Amikom Surakarta lectures. In the process of assistance activities taking place, assistants have several problems such as filling out attendance papers that use paper as evidence for attendance that has carried out assistance tasks, then in the process of recapitulating the treasurer's attendance as financial administrators must collect proof papers on each assistant making less effective, and lastly during the scheduling process that uses Excel as a scheduler tool, and will later be shared through groups, this creates a lack of schedule synchronization if at any time there is an updated schedule. Because of this problem the author aims to solve these problems by creating an information system that can perform attendance, recapitulation, and scheduling without using paper and efficiently. The researcher in this research process uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method because this method is fast and efficient in the development process. In the manufacturing process, researchers use MERN Stack technology.

Abstract

LP is one of the pharmaceutical companies located in Serang, Banten. The production of the company is tablets, capsules, and syrup. Problems that occur at PT. LP is a product defect that occurs in capsule filling, especially in capsule A. The purpose of this study is to determine the defective products that occur in capsule A and to find out the proposed improvements that will be made to reduce product defects in capsule A. The research methods used are Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fuzzy Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (F-FMEA). The population and samples used were defective capsule A during the production process from March 2022 to May 2023, with sampling techniques through production data, observation and interviews. And the results of research using a check sheet show that the percentage of defects reaches 6%, based on the pareto chart, the priority of improvement that needs to be done is for the dominant type of defect, namely the dented capsule reject reaches 90%, and on the control chart there are still control points that are outside the UCL and LCL. FMEA calculations, the RPN value of the capsule is dented on the head of the capsule or capsule body reaches 384, and the FRPN value is 6.76.

Abstract

In the era of digital communication, access speed and data security are crucial. The study evaluated network topology, focusing on tree topology using simulations with Cisco Packet Tracer. Tests highlighted stability, latency, throughput, and bottleneck potential. Data transmission time information is key in assessing network performance. Test results are important for optimizing performance and identifying areas of improvement in the network. In conclusion, monitoring network performance is an important step for operational efficiency and security.

Abstract

One important technique for understanding and analyzing computer network performance is TCP/IP simulacrum. In this research, we simulate a TCP/IP network using the bus topology as a model. We use the Cisco Packet Tracer simulated network topology builder to create a bus topology and implement the TCP/IP protocol. The simulation results provide more accurate understanding of how the TCP/IP protocol functions within a bus network. We analyze network performance in terms of throughput, latency, and packet loss. The analysis's findings indicate that bus topologies have a certain amount of leeway in network operations, particularly when a collision occurs. However, this simulation offers a valuable tool to improve computer network design and management.

Abstract

The remaining food waste in Indonesia reaches around 46.35 million tons, with economic losses reaching 23 million to 48 million tons per year. This condition has led to various campaigns to reduce food waste from people concerned about the problem of food waste. However, the increase in food waste campaigns has yet to be accompanied by a decrease in the volume of food waste in Indonesia. This research aims to determine public sentiment toward food waste campaigns on Instagram social media and determine the accuracy of the methods used in data classification. The method used is the Naïve Bayes Classifier method. The results obtained were from a total of 118 data regarding the food waste campaign; 79% data showed that the public had a positive sentiment, and 21% other data had a negative sentiment. The accuracy results of using sentiment analysis were 78.94%; this shows that the performance of the Naïve Bayes method in classifying data is quite good.

Abstract

Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases are neurodegenerative conditions that affect the brain, with Alzheimer's causing cognitive and behavioral decline, while Parkinson's leads to motor and non-motor impairments. Both diseases have significant impacts on the health and quality of life of patients, with prevalence increasing in recent years. Although the exact causes of these diseases are still unknown, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is widely used to detect brain activity and serves as one of the diagnostic methods. With technological advancements, intelligent systems in image processing for image classification have been extensively used and have become a popular field due to their ability to replicate human visual capabilities. Image classification is performed using various supervised learning machine learning algorithms based on the shape, texture, and color of the images. This study employs two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, ResNet50 and GoogLeNet, to compare the performance of these models in classifying MRI scans of patients with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. The results show that the ResNet50 model outperforms the GoogLeNet model, with parameters set to 100 epochs, a batch size of 128, a learning rate of 0.0001, and the Adam optimizer, achieving an accuracy rate of 90%.

Abstract

Innovation in robotics and the Internet of Things is a technological trend that continues to be developed, including in transportation innovations, such as a car. What is developed in this research is the development of the application of robots and the Internet of Things (IoT) in a mini car prototype design which can be remotely controlled as well. This prototype design uses the engineering design process method which integrates all supporting devices in the form of NodeMCU with ESP8266 base as a control center that allows communication between various sensors and actuators with the internet, TT Motor Gear as an actuator and L298n as an output translator. This mini smart car is controlled using Blynk as an internet-connected controller and for remote control of car movement using a smartphone. The results of this study are the average remote control capability has a car movement delay of 0.87 seconds and 100% of cars move in all directions. The better the internet connection, the more stable the movement of the car to be driven remotely.

Abstract

Chronic diseases in humans are very difficult to detect visually, for example glaucoma, hypertension, diabetes, and others. So it takes a lot of time for further medical examination by visiting a health center or hospital. Therefore, this research aims to find a solution combining medical and computer science to classify quickly and precisely. Classifying eye images requires good features and characteristics so that disease images can be classified. This research uses the Deep Learning method, namely Convolutional Neural Network with MobileNet-V3 architecture which can extract features from large resolution images very well. This research resulted in accurate classification of images of chronic diseases Normal, Diabetes, Glucoma, Cataract, Age related macular degeneration, Hypertension, Pathalogical Myopia. uses the MobileNet-V3 architecture, with transfer learning reaching 81%, and loss only 0.4913.

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced digital era, it is important to build a positive internet culture based on ethics and citizenship in order to increase public awareness in the digital era. Values education and digital citizenship play an important role in shaping responsible and positive online behavior. Through values education, the younger generation can be prepared to become global citizens who are aware of the impact of their online actions. Ethical and responsible behavior in using digital technology is key in creating a safe and positive online environment. By building a responsible digital culture, we can reduce the spread of misinformation, hate speech and harmful content, creating a harmonious digital space for all users. Responsible digital citizenship is increasingly important in today’s digital era as technology has become an integral part of everyday life. With awareness of the importance of digital citizenship, the younger generation can use technology positively and contribute to the progress of the digital era. By building a positive internet culture based on ethics and citizenship, we can create an online environment that is inclusive, safe and responsible for all users.
