Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that developments in artificial intelligence technology have brought significant progress in the field of language translation, particularly from Arabic to Indonesian. However, the quality of translation results across platforms remains an interesting topic for study, particularly between ChatGPT and DeepL Translator, which both use AI-based models but with different approaches. The purpose of this study was to compare the quality of Arabic-to-Indonesian translations between ChatGPT and DeepL Translator. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a comparative study. Data were obtained through the translation of a number of Arabic texts selected through purposive sampling, consisting of common sentences, idioms, and cultural expressions. Translations were evaluated based on accuracy of meaning, readability, and contextual appropriateness. The results show that ChatGPT tends to produce translations that are communicative, contextual, and easily understood by Indonesian readers, while DeepL Translator is more literal and maintains the structure of the source language. ChatGPT excels in texts containing idioms and cultural nuances because it can adapt meaning to the context, while DeepL Translator is better suited for official documents or formal texts that require consistent sentence structure.

Abstract

  In this aspect, electromagnetic waves are physical phenomena that play an important role in the progress of the present communication system. This paper reviews the literature on the characteristics of electromagnetic waves, how the waves affect data networks, wireless systems, and telecommunications between other fields of communication technology. Research shows that electromagnetic waves allow shipping information efficiently through cables, air, and other media. Wave frequency transition from radio to millimeter waves has opened a new path for network speed and capacity. However, a number of interference, safety, and health effects began to emerge. The findings above there is no doubt highlighting the fact that a deep understanding of electromagnetic waves forms the basis of innovation and the development of communication technology on a sustainable manner. Electromagnetic Physical phenomena that carry out the progress of this make review through cables, and other media. Abstract

The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of education has created new opportunities to improve the quality of learning and expand access to education. This study aims to analyze the benefits, opportunities, and challenges offered by AI in the educational context. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through literature reviews, interviews with educators and technology experts, and analysis of AI-based learning platforms. The results of the study show that AI plays a significant role in supporting personalized learning, reducing teachers' administrative burdens, and enhancing educational inclusion. However, challenges such as technological disparities, data privacy, and a lack of teacher training remain major obstacles. With adequate infrastructure, data protection regulations, and training for educators, AI has the potential to become a revolutionary tool in creating a more adaptive and inclusive education system.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an interactive e-module for classical Arabic poetry analysis based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) using a digital platform, as well as to assess its effectiveness in improving students’ literary analysis competence. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design, consisting of needs analysis, module design, expert validation, limited trials, and effectiveness evaluation. Validation was conducted by experts in Arabic literature and educational media, while the trial phase involved students as respondents to assess usability, media attractiveness, and learning engagement. The findings indicate that the developed e-module demonstrates high content and design validity, featuring materials aligned with the principles of classical Arabic poetry, clear PjBL project instructions, and multimedia elements that support interactive learning. Students’ responses to the module were highly positive; the module enhanced motivation, active engagement, and collaboration during project implementation. Its effectiveness is further reflected in students’ improved ability to identify intrinsic elements of poetry, interpret symbolism, understand cultural context, and construct coherent and reflective analytical arguments. Challenges such as technical constraints and adaptation to PjBL methods were mitigated through instructor guidance and module refinement. Thus, the interactive PjBL-based e-module proves effective as an innovative learning medium for the analysis of classical Arabic poetry, while also strengthening students’ analytical skills, critical thinking, and collaboration. This module serves as a relevant and sustainable technology-based learning model for Arabic literature education in the digital era.

Abstract

Learning Arabic, especially writing skills, is a complex challenge for both native and non-native speakers. Arabic has a structure and grammatical rules that are vastly different from other languages, such as Indonesian or English, and involves unique linguistic characteristics, such as right-to-left writing and the use of distinctive letters. One important component in language learning is Metalinguistic Awareness (MLA), which refers to the ability to understand and reflect on the elements of language, both orally and in writing. This study aims to examine the impact of MLA on Arabic writing skills, focusing on how MLA can help learners identify writing errors, organize sentence structures more accurately, and use appropriate vocabulary. This study employs a literature review approach to review the relevant literature on MLA and assess its impact on Arabic writing skills, at various levels of education, including elementary, secondary, and higher education. The findings from the literature review indicate that learners with higher levels of MLA tend to have better writing skills, especially in understanding complex sentence structures and correcting linguistic errors in their writing. However, despite these findings being supported by several studies, more empirical research is needed to specifically examine the application of MLA in the context of Arabic. Further research is also expected to develop more relevant MLA measurement instruments for Arabic and consider moderating factors that may affect its impact on writing skills.

Abstract

The development of educational technology has introduced increasingly diverse and interactive forms of digital feedback, significantly impacting the quality of student learning. This article aims to analyze the role of digital feedback from three main perspectives: behaviorist, cognitive, and constructivist. Using a literature review approach, this article integrates recent research findings to explain the concept, characteristics, and pedagogical power of digital feedback in managing learning behavior, facilitating cognitive processes, and supporting knowledge construction. The results and discussion indicate that digital feedback functions to strengthen learning responses and habits from the behaviorist perspective, enhance information processing and reduce cognitive load from the cognitive perspective, and facilitate reflection, collaboration, and meaningful learning from the constructivist perspective. This analysis confirms that the effectiveness of digital feedback is highly dependent on design accuracy, information clarity, and appropriateness to student characteristics. This article provides important implications for educators and learning media developers in designing digital feedback systems that are more adaptive, informative, and centered on student learning needs.

Abstract

The main problem studied is students' low ability to understand and use Arabic, both actively and passively, which impacts their limited access to Islamic literature. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of difficulties in learning Arabic and analyze the causal factors, both internal (motivation, educational background, perception) and external (lecturer teaching methods and academic environment). This study employed a qualitative descriptive method, employing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis with students and lecturers in Arabic courses. The results indicate that the main difficulties faced by students lie in the application of grammar and grammatical rules, as well as poor speaking (kalam) and listening (istima') skills. This is caused by the dominance of the grammar-translation method and the limited language environment (bi'ah lughawiyyah). This study recommends changing the teaching approach to a communicative method and creating a conducive language environment on campus.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of Islamic education in responding to and directing the rapid development of modern science and technology (IPTEK). Although these advancements bring convenience and innovation, they also give rise to moral and ethical challenges due to the dominance of materialistic and secular paradigms. Islamic education functions as a guiding and supervisory force by emphasizing the values of tawhid and sharia as the primary standards for the development and utilization of science and technology. This research employs a qualitative-descriptive method through a literature review. The findings indicate that Islamic education must holistically integrate religious knowledge and general sciences through curriculum adjustments and improved learning methodologies. Key strategies include establishing Islamic creed (aqeedah) as the foundation for scientific and technological development, as well as positioning Islamic sharia as the ethical benchmark for its use. Furthermore, enhancing educators’ digital competencies and strengthening students’ digital literacy based on Islamic ethical principles are essential to mitigate the negative impacts of technology. In conclusion, Islamic education plays a vital role in shaping a generation of Muslim scholars who excel in science and technology while maintaining strong moral and religious values. Thus, science and technology can serve as instruments for achieving societal welfare and collective well-being.
