Abstract

This study investigates the influence of word of mouth, packaging, price perception, and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions for Bolu Kelapa Gumregah, a locally produced cake by KEP Desa PRIMA Gumregah in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. As a flagship product rooted in local cultural practices such as ulih-ulih, understanding consumer decision-making is critical for sustaining its market growth. Employing an explanatory research design and survey methodology, data were collected from 50 purposively selected consumers and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results reveal that while the four variables collectively have a significant effect (F = 43.470; p < 0.001) and explain 65.6% of the variance in purchasing decisions, only price perception demonstrates a positive and statistically significant individual effect (β = 0.709; p < 0.001). Word of mouth, packaging, and product quality show no significant individual impact. These findings underscore the dominant role of price perception in consumer behavior and highlight the need for strategic marketing efforts focused on perceived value. The study contributes to the literature on community-based micro-enterprises and offers practical recommendations for enhancing local product competitiveness through pricing, packaging, and quality alignment.

Abstract

This study evaluates the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) into Learning Management Systems (LMS) and its impact on learner engagement, motivation, and retention within a professional training context. Employing a mixed-methods design, data were collected from 200 participants using pre- and post-tests, system-generated metrics, questionnaires based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT), and qualitative interviews. Quantitative analyses, including descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, t-tests, ANOVA, and multiple regression, revealed that VR usage significantly enhanced learning outcomes, with VR exposure time and perceived learner autonomy emerging as key predictors of retention. Younger and male participants demonstrated higher retention scores, highlighting the moderating effect of age and gender. Qualitative findings supported the quantitative results, indicating increased immersion and conceptual understanding despite minor technical challenges. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) confirmed the validity and reliability of the measurement instruments. These findings provide empirical support for the pedagogical potential of VR-integrated LMS environments and offer practical recommendations for personalized instructional design in digital education.

Abstract

Anemia remains a significant public health issue among adolescent girls in Indonesia, primarily due to iron deficiency exacerbated by poor dietary habits and menstruation. Nutritional interventions utilizing local food sources such as Moringa oleifera offer a promising solution. Moringa leaves are rich in iron and essential micronutrients that may support hemoglobin synthesis. This study aims to examine the effect of Moringa leaf iced tea consumption on hemoglobin levels among adolescent girls. A quantitative pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach was employed. Ninety female students from a health sciences college in Cirebon participated. Hemoglobin levels were measured before and after the consumption of Moringa leaf iced tea. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests with a significance level of p < 0.05. The mean hemoglobin level increased significantly from 10.656 g/dL to 11.338 g/dL post-intervention, with a mean difference of 0.6822 g/dL (p < 0.001). This result suggests a positive hematinic effect of Moringa iced tea, likely due to its high iron and vitamin C content. Moringa leaf iced tea is a practical and culturally acceptable dietary intervention that effectively improves hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. It holds potential for integration into school and community-based nutrition programs aimed at preventing anemia.

Abstract

This study examines the synergistic impact of Lean Supply Chain Management (LSCM) and Cloud-Based Supply Chain (CSSC) integration on business performance within Indonesia’s oil and gas sector. Amidst global supply chain disruptions and Indonesia’s transition toward sustainable energy, optimizing supply chain efficiency has become a strategic imperative. While prior research highlights the benefits of LSCM in developed markets, its interaction with digital technologies in emerging economies remains underexplored. Adopting a positivist approach, this study employs a quantitative methodology, collecting data from 217 professionals in Indonesia’s oil and gas industry through structured questionnaires. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the research evaluates the direct and mediated effects of Just-In-Time (JIT) and Total Quality Management (TQM) practices on business performance, with CSSC as a mediator. Results confirm that both JIT and TQM significantly enhance business performance, with CSSC playing a pivotal mediating role by improving supply chain visibility, agility, and operational efficiency. The findings underscore the importance of integrating lean practices with cloud-based digital solutions to drive resilience and competitive advantage in volatile markets. This study contributes actionable insights for practitioners seeking to align operational excellence with digital transformation, offering a model for sustainable supply chain management in resource-intensive industries.
