Abstract

Examination of the blood hemoglobin level of pregnant women is carried out at least once in the first trimester and third. Based on the report from the Riau Provincial Health Office in 2018, the hemoglobin examination rate for pregnant women was 67.72%, only 9.3% of pregnant women had hemoglobin examinations.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and husband's supportwith pregnant women checking for hemoglobin at the Siak Health Center.The research design was cross sectional. The population of this study were all pregnant women in the first and third trimesters, with a sample of as many as 54 people, sampling technique accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used isquestionnaire. Univariate analysis is known most of the respondents with less knowledge as many as 29 people (53.7%) good as many as 25 people (46.3%), respondents who stated that their husbands did not support as many as 29 people (27.3%), husbands supported as many as 25 people (46.3%). Bivariate results are known tthere connection knowledge P value 0.016 POR (5,200) and known tthere husband's support relationship P value 0.003 POR(7,955)by checking hemoglobin in pregnant women at the Siak Health Center.It is hoped that health workers can provide information about the importance of conducting Hb checks on pregnant women and increasing knowledge of pregnant women through outreach activities in Maternity Classes and health facilities.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a potential endemic disease of Extraordinary Events (KLB) which is often accompanied by death in Indonesia. The nutritional status of children is one of the causes of diarrhea. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of diarrhea in children. The design of this research is quantitative with case control design. The research site was in Rantau Benuang Village, Rokan Hilir Regency on September 16-30, 2021. The case population in the study was all children aged 6-12 years suffering from 41 children while the control population was children who did not suffer from diarrhea in Rantau Benuang Village, Rokan Hilir Regency in 2021 as many as 218 children. Case samples were taken using total sampling and control samples using systematic random sampling. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate using chi square test. The univariate analysis consisted of 82 respondents. Based on nutritional status, of the 41 case group respondents, there were 28 respondents (68.3%) with poor nutritional status. Of the 41 respondents in the control group, there were 26 respondents (63.4%) with good nutritional status. From all 82 respondents, there were 43 respondents (52.4%) with poor nutritional status. Bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between nutritional status (p value = 0.008) and the incidence of diarrhea in children. It is hoped that this final project can be a reference material for health workers in order to provide counseling about diarrhea.

Abstract

Examination of the blood hemoglobin level of pregnant women is carried out at least once in the first trimester and once in the third trimester. The goal is to determine whether or not anemia during pregnancy because anemia can affect the process of fetal growth and development in the womb. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of health workers and hemoglobin examination at the Rumbio Jaya Health Center. The research design was cross sectional. The population of this study were all pregnant women in the first and third trimesters, with a sample of 54 people, the sampling technique was accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is univariate and bivariate. Univariate analysis revealed that from 54 officers there were 32 people (59.3%) who did not play a role while 22 people (40.7%) had a role. Bivariate results with a P-value of 0.014 <0.05, it means that there is a relationship between the role of health workers by checking hemoglobin in pregnant women at the Rumbio Jaya Health Center, by checking hemoglobin in pregnant women at the Rumbio Jaya Health Center. It is hoped that health workers can provide information about the importance of carrying out Hb checks in pregnant women and increase knowledge of pregnant women through counseling activities in Pregnant Women Classes and health facilities

Abstract

Globally, about 1 (one) out of 4 (four) or about 26% of children under 5 years old are stunted. In Riau province the incidence of stunting also decreased to 27%. In the working area of ??the Kampar Health Center there are 2 stunting loci, namely Ranah Singkuang village and Jambu Island. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between anemia in pregnant women and the incidence of stunting in children under five at the Kampar Health Center UPTD in 2018. The type of research used was quantitative analytic with a case control approach using secondary data. The population is all toddlers who are stunted. The case sample was taken using a total sampling technique and the control sample using a systematic random sampling technique with a total of 53 case respondents and 53 control respondents. Data analysis of this research is univariate and bivariate using chi square test. The result of this research is anemia variable with P-value = 0.017. Based on the results of the study that anemia in pregnant women has a relationship with the incidence of stunting in children under five. It is hoped that the health workers of the Kampar Health Center will optimize socialization to pregnant women and toddlers in order to prevent anemia and stunting and cooperate with families, Katoma and Katoga in the village.

Abstract

Newborns are babies born from 37 – 42 weeks of gestation with a birth weight of 2500 – 4000 grams. During this period, there was a very big change from life which was originally in the womb, completely dependent on the mother, to outside the womb, which had to live independently. Providing Midwifery Care using a midwifery management approach to Newborns at PMB Nurwati in the Air Tiris Health Center Working Area in 2022. This study used a descriptive observational method with a case study approach that aims to determine midwifery care. This study conducted an assessment and collection of basic data is the initial stage of midwifery management using SOAP with a Varney mindset, namely subjective data assessment, objective data assessment, assessment and the appropriate management according to the problems complained of by Baby Ny. I is Normal Newborn Baby. Data collected by researchers through direct examination of newborns with their parents and their closest family. Based on the care given to the baby, Mrs. I have been given care for 8 days. The midwifery care carried out was preventing heat loss, cleaning the airway, cutting and caring for the umbilical cord, giving an IMD, performing a physical examination, administering vitamin K injection, giving eye ointment, hospitalization, bathing the baby, swaddling the baby, and giving HB0 immunization. Abstract

Anxiety is one of the causes of prolonged labor and fetal death. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and anxiety in dealing with the period leading up to delivery in third trimester pregnant women in the work area of ??UPT BLUD Puskesmas Tambang in 2021. This type of research is quantitative analytical research. The study was conducted on 14-26 July 2021 with a total sample of 70 pregnant women in the third trimester using total sampling. Mother's knowledge data collection, while anxiety using a questionnaire. Analysis using univariate and bivariate Chi-Squre The results of the univariate analysis were 42 respondents (60.0%) who had poor knowledge while 29 respondents (41.4%) had good knowledge. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.000) and the anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge and anxiety in the face of the pre-delivery period in trimester pregnant women. It is hoped that the results of this study will become input for the work area of ??the UPT BLUD Puskesmas Tambang to provide information to pregnant women to reduce maternal anxiety in facing childbirth.

Abstract

The first few days of a newborn's life are very important, essential neonatal care should be provided at birth. There are many adjustments that babies go through as they transition from life in the womb to life outside the womb, including general awareness, early assessment, prevention of heat loss, cutting and care of the umbilical cord, early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD), prevention of bleeding, prevention of eye infections. , immunization, identification, history taking, and physical examination. The purpose of the case study is to find out and provide midwifery care for newborns at PMB Nurhayati, Air Tiris Health Center Work Area in 2022. The type of case study report uses the descriptive method, namely a research conducted to describe or describe a phenomenon that occurs. The results of the study showed that the subjective data of the mother said that this was the fourth child and had never miscarried, the objective data was that the general condition was good, the baby cried strongly, muscle tone was active, the skin was reddish. The assessment that can be enforced is that the baby, Mrs. E, a term neonate, is in good condition. The management provided was by keeping the baby warm, clearing the airway by sucking mucus, cutting the umbilical cord using umbilical cord clamps, doing Early Initiation of Breastfeeding, giving 1% oxytetracycline eye ointment, giving 1 mg vitamin K, giving HB0 vaccine, bathing the baby. At the 12-day visit, the umbilical cord had fallen off, general condition was good, muscle tone was active, weight was 3100 grams, skin color was reddish, and breastfeeding was strong. Provide motivation to give exclusive breastfeeding, keep the baby warm, remind the danger signs of newborns

Abstract

Postpartum is a period where there are a series of changes in the mother that have an impact on the physical, psychological and social. To optimize the health of mothers and babies, postpartum care must be an ongoing process, with care and support tailored to the needs of each postpartum mother so that the care provided can help the mother through her postpartum period. Postpartum care consists of monitoring and examination. The examination materials included measuring the mother's body temperature and pulse, recording blood pressure, examining the breasts, assessing uterine involution, monitoring lochia. The purpose of this case is to find out the midwifery care given to Mrs. Y aged 31 years P1A0H1 which is experiencing good changes from day to day, 6 hours postpartum the mother complains of pain in the perineal wound area, and on the sixth day the mother does not feel pain anymore in the perineal area. suture area. From the results of this study, it is expected that the post-partum mother always maintains the cleanliness of the perineum that has been done well. Thus the care provided to these patients goes well.

Abstract

Newborns (BBL) are babies aged 0 to 28 days, in BBL there will be very big changes where BBL undergoes a period of adjustment from life in the womb to life outside the womb (world). Midwives play an important role in the adaptation changes experienced by infants, because during the BBL period they are very susceptible to complications. This research is in the form of an observational descriptive case study conducted at the Independent Practice of Midwife Erida Rismayanti in By. Mrs. P. This research was conducted on July 14-21, 2022, the data collected through observation, interview, examination and documentation techniques. From the results of the case study research given to By. Mrs. P which was carried out for 3 visits, the first visit was carried out at the age of 6 hours BBL in good health, the second visit was carried out at the age of 4 days with complaints of fussiness at night, the third visit was carried out at the age of 8 days BBL was in good health, breastfeeding smoothly, there were no signs danger signs or complications in BBL, as well as the care provided has been running smoothly and safely. It is hoped that midwives can improve the quality of services comprehensively based on their authority in providing services to BBL

Abstract

Pregnancy is a series of processes that women experience with the meeting of an egg and sperm cell in the ovary within 280 days or 40 weeks. The purpose of this study was to determine midwifery care for pregnant women in the third trimester with frequent urination at BPM Hayati in the working area of Pukesmas Laboy Jaya in 2022. This study used a descriptive observational research design with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were pregnant women in the third trimester with frequent urination problems in PMB Hayati. Data were collected by direct interviews with pregnant women, respondent's families and physical examination as well as supporting examination, namely physical examination. On the first day until the seventh day, management is often anxious and frequent urination. Based on the pregnancy care carried out on Mrs. R obtained that frequent anxiety and frequent urination in patients is reduced
