Abstract

Workers will face difficulties in achieving company standards without the existence of a positive organizational culture. A strong organizational culture has a huge impact on performance, creating high motivation, a positive environment, creativity, and work-life balance. This not only improves performance, but also contributes to employee productivity and overall well-being. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of organizational culture on employee performance. The method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. In order to achieve the objectives of this research, the data collection method is carried out through observation, questionnaire, and documentation activities. The research sample involved 66 people, with a sampling technique using the saturated sample method. The collected information was then evaluated by applying descriptive data analysis methods, validity and reliability tests, data normality tests, product moment correlation analysis, determinant coefficients, and simple linear regression analysis. The purpose of this analysis is to assess the impact of organizational culture on employee performance at the KMP LAN Makassar Center. The results showed that the overall organizational culture indicators were rated "excellent," and the overall employee performance indicators also showed "excellent" ratings. According to the results of the product moment correlation test, a significant relationship was found between the two variables. The determination coefficient indicates that the organizational culture variable (X) affects the employee performance variable (Y). A simple linear regression evaluation shows that organizational culture has a real impact on employee performance at the KMP LAN Makassar Center Office.

Abstract

Work efficiency is the most important factor to achieve organizational goals. Work efficiency will be created if employees can meet the demands of their work so that work results will be better. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of archive management on the work efficiency of employees at the Soppeng Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. This research is classified as a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 49 employees of the Soppeng Regency Population and Civil Registration Office with census techniques. In this study, data collection was used observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study explain that the archive management variable is in the very good category, while the employee work efficiency variable is in the very good category. Based on the correlation test of the two variables, namely archive management, it is shown that the work efficiency of employees has a moderate relationship. Based on the T test, conclusions were obtained if there was a positive impact and archive management had a major impact on employee work efficiency

Abstract

Without a good physical work environment, employees will not be able to carry out their duties properly according to the demands of the company. Not only does it have an impact on employee performance directly but it can also contribute to the overall success of the company. Investing in improving the physical work environment can yield significant results in terms of productivity, employee satisfaction, and company success. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The indicators of the physical work environment include lighting, air temperature, noise, use of color and movement space. The employee performance indicators include quality, quantity, and punctuality. The sample in this study was 50 people. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaire and documentation. The data obtained was processed using the SPSS 26 application which consisted of validity tests, reliability tests, data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical tests, data normality tests, product moment correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis, it can be concluded that the physical work environment variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance variable of employees of PT United Tractors Tbk Makassar Branch even though the contribution has not reached a very high level. This is reviewed from the significant value between the two variables, namely variable X (physical work environment) and variable Y (employee performance).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Application of Transformational Leadership Style of the Head of Apparatus Performance and Awards in the Regional Civil Service Agency of South Sulawesi Province. The approach and type of research used are qualitative approaches and descriptive research types, while the informants in this study are the Sub-Coordinator of each Apparatus Performance and Awards Division and employees of the Apparatus Performance and Awards Division at the Regional Civil Service Agency of South Sulawesi Province. The data collection techniques carried out are using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that all indicators used in the research on the Implementation of Transformational Leadership Style of the Head of Apparatus Performance and Awards at the Regional Civil Service Agency of South Sulawesi Province are classified as good. The indicators in question are Ideal Influence which is classified in the good category which is supported by always respectful behavior, more concerned with work than personal affairs, and communicating well in terms of making decisions. Inspirational Motivation is classified as a good category which is supported by consistent behavior in providing motivation, in conveying something achieved enthusiastically, an effective vision, and in building good cooperation with employees. Intellectual Stimulation is classified as a good category which is supported by the behavior of developing ideas from employees, providing solutions to problems, and encouraging employees to be creative and innovative. Paying Attention to Individuals is classified as good because of their behavior in giving advice, implementing a personal approach, listening to every suggestion or problem of subordinates well, and paying attention to the needs of employees

Abstract

This study aims to find out the analysis of the management of incoming mail at the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office. This research is qualitative, using data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research informants were 3 employees of the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office. The results of this study show that the management of incoming letters at the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office is running "well". Judging from the aspect of receiving letters, namely receiving letters is done manually by paying attention to the purpose of the sender, sorting to distinguish between personal and official letters, checking that the letters are correct and not damaged, and ensuring that the letters are well received by the relevant fields. The aspect of directing incoming letters, namely directing incoming letters, is carried out by including a disposition sheet that records the instructions of the leadership After being received in the administration section, the letter is put into the agenda book and sent to the head of the agency. Original mail can be sent or distributed. In the case of recording incoming mail, incoming mail is recorded in a notebook and the officer uses an agenda stamp as proof that the letter has been recorded. The storage aspect includes storing incoming mail manually, i.e. it is physically stored in the mail. To do this, a folder is used to store the letter in the refrigerator. From the aspect of submission, the incoming letter is submitted to the relevant parties based on the disposition of the leadership by including two introductory sheets that must be paraphrased as a receipt.

Abstract

Learning achievement is the outcome achieved by students consisting of knowledge, skills and attitudes as a result of experience and education received individually. Success can be achieved through the learning activities carried out. Learning achievement is the level of success in learning, it is one way to measure how well students participate in education in school. Learning and the environment are two things that cannot be separated from each other, the learning environment is the place where learning takes place and externally affects the continuity of activities. This study discusses how the learning environment affects the learning outcomes of SMK Negeri 1 Wajo students. This research is quantitative showing cause and effect. The sample in this study is 90 samples with a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out using questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive data analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study show that the learning environment in the teaching and learning process of SMK Negeri 1 Wajo is in the "Good" category with 3 indicators in it, namely the school environment, family environment and community environment. Meanwhile, student achievement is in the "adequate" category based on indicators, namely the average student report card score. Abstract

The effectiveness of administrative services has the ability to provide efficient, responsive, and quality administrative services to all students in the school environment. This includes various aspects, such as student administration management, financial data management, new student admissions, school inventory management, and other administrative support.  This study aims to determine the effectiveness of administrative services at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar. This research is qualitative. focusing on service procedures, service time, service costs, service products, facilities and infrastructure, and service officer competence. Based on the results of this study, it is shown that the effectiveness of administrative services at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar is categorized as Good. This can be seen from a number of factors or indicators that describe administrative services. Service procedures in schools are categorized as good because they have provided satisfactory services for students, as shown by effective communication between students and administrative staff, as well as the implementation of structured procedures, which are key factors in the success of the service. Service time is categorized as poor because students feel that despite efforts to improve service time efficiency, there are still various obstacles in implementation in the field. The main obstacles include the willingness of the principal's signature and the absence of service staff. Administrative service fees are categorized as good because the fees have been regulated according to school policy. Not all services are charged, school administration is categorized as good because the administration has tried to provide comprehensive and efficient services to meet various needs of students. Adequate facilities are categorized as good because they not only help in administrative services, but also support student learning as a whole, even though the facilities and infrastructure in the administration are quite good, there is a need for improvement and updating of equipment to further increase the effectiveness of administrative services and support student learning. The competence of Service Officers is categorized as good because they have technical and non-technical competence, service officers can carry out their duties more effectively and efficiently, and provide optimal service to students and all parties involved in the school.

Abstract

Learning interests play a very important role in learning activities. When students have a high interest in the subject or topic being studied, students feel dominantly focused, engaged, and have a desire to learn well in learning activities. This research was carried out to evaluate the influence of the application of discussion learning methods on students' learning interests. To achieve this goal, data collection techniques are used through questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. The number of people taken as a sample in this study was 80 people using a simple random sampling technique.  From the data collected, the results of the study were processed using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential analysis techniques to determine the influence of the application of discussion learning methods on students' learning interests. The results of the study showed that: (1) Grade XI students of Office Management and Business Services in carrying out discussion methods to increase students' interest in learning include the concentration of attention in learning, the presence of a feeling of pleasure, and the willingness to learn. (2) The correlation coefficient (r) was obtained which was 0.748% which means that the relationship between the discussion method and students' learning interests was 74.8%. Meanwhile, the determinant coefficient (r-square) was obtained 0.560 which means that the influence of discussion on students' learning ability was 56.0% while 44% of students' learning interest was influenced by other factors that were not explained in this study.

Abstract

One of the most important pieces of information for an organization is the recording of its activities, which is stored in the form of archives. Because archives play a crucial role, they must be managed effectively and adequately. This study aims to determine the Dynamic Archives Management and the inhibiting factors in the Dynamic Archives Management of the Administration Section at SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar. The approach and type of research used are qualitative research and descriptive research, respectively. The informants include the Head of Administration, the Student Affairs Administration staff, and the archives teacher at SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques employed are data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that all indicators used in the study of Dynamic Archives Management in the Administration Section at SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar are classified as having a less exemplary implementation. The indicators in question, recording, and distribution, are still less than optimal. This can be seen from the management of incoming mail that does not follow the procedure. Storage is also less than optimal; this is because the storage space is still inadequate, as evidenced by the unsuitable storage area, the lack of cabinets, and the absence of filing cabinets, as well as the disorganized arrangement of folders. Maintenance is classified as less than good; this can be seen from the maintenance of archives, which is limited to cleaning them of dust. Depreciation is classified as less than good; this can be seen from the fact that depreciation regulations have not implemented depreciation.

Abstract

Employee performance plays an important role in achieving agency goals, so this study is very important to identify factors that affect their performance. This study focuses on the impact of office facilities on employee performance at the Sumpang Binangae Village Office, Barru Regency. Using quantitative methodology, this study is descriptive. Permanent and non-permanent employees at the Sumpang Binangae Village Office, Barru Regency became the subjects of this study, with a total of fifty-two staff. Complete sampling was carried out, and data were collected through documentation, survey, and observation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS 22 tool, including validity and reliability checks to validate the research findings. A descriptive and detailed data analysis approach was used to obtain results and draw conclusions from statistical analysis. This study found that workplace facilities significantly affect productivity. The coefficient of determination of 0.477 for R square indicates that office facilities contribute 47.7 percent to employee performance, while motivation and corporate culture contribute the remaining 52.3 percent. The results of the study indicate that the work environment has a major impact on productivity.
