Abstract

Lampu jalan LED memiliki nilai efikasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan lampu jalan tradisional. Konsekuensi dari efikasi yang tinggi pada suatu lampu adalah kualitas color rendering yang rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur nilai colorimetrylampu penerangan jalan umum LED. Untuk mengukur kualitas warna dari suatu sumber cahaya digunakan array spectroradiometer. Selain portabilitas dan kecepatan dalam pengukuran spectral, instrument ini memiliki keterbatasan yang harus dikarakterisasi. Salah satunya adalah respon spektral yang memiliki dampak yang cukup besar dalam pengukuran karena itu membutuhkan nilai koreksi dalam penggunaannya.  Array spectroradiometer dikalibrasi terhadap lampu spectral irradiant standar untuk pengukuran magnitude dan lampu atomic untuk pengukuran akurasi panjang gelombang. Metode analisis digunakan untuk mengimbangi besarnya pengukuran spectral dari array spectroradiometer yang disebabkan oleh pergeseran spectral. Factor koreksi selanjutnya dikoreksi terhadap beberapa illuminan standard dan digunakan untuk perhitungan rendering index dari lampu jalan LED. Lampu jalan LED dengan nilai efikasi tinggi dapat menghasilkan rendering index pada level 80, tiga kali lebih besar dibandingkan lampu jalan tradisional (HPS) yang hanya mampu menghasilkan rendering index pada level 25. Pada penelitian selanjutnya, dapat  dilakukan pengukuran terkait dengan reproduktivitas pengukuran array spektroradiometer yang dapat berdampak pada kualitas pengukuran color rendering.

Abstract

Physiological quality is one of the parameter used to determine the seed quality standard in a certification procedure. Information on the physiological quality often not readily available since germination test as a direst test takes time. Rapid test can predict the potency of a seed lot quickly yet accurately but it requires standardization of procedures and interpretation keys. This method relies on the tight correlation between physiological/development of a seed and its viability. In applying a rapid test, the suitability of the test toward the species needs to be determined. Compared to direct test, significant time saving are obtained for 13-34 days with TZ test, 13 – 44 days with cutting test and X-ray test, 7 – 25 days with hydrogen peroxide, 8 – 37 days with excision test and 12 – 19 days with leachate conductivity test. The TZ test and cutting test have been accommodated in the regulation on the physical and physiological test on forestry seeds. The other rapid tests such as excision, hydrogen peroxide, XC-Radiography and leachate conductivity need to be included in that regulation as well. The analyst for the rapid test for this rapid test should be an official that has been certified through intensive training. (peng)

Abstract

XYZ Laboratory has main tasks and functions to carry out technology service activities in the field of machine tool technology, production and automation. One kind of technology service to the industry is as a testing laboratory. SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is a testing laboratory standard that is suitable to support the XYZ Laboratory in carrying out technology service tasks in the field of testing. Because the XYZ Laboratory has been accredited by KAN (National Accreditation Committee) as a testing laboratory, the XYZ Laboratory has an obligation to participate in an external audit conducted by KAN. This needs to be done to maintain the quality of testing laboratory services so that they remain in accordance with applicable standards. Considering that this external audit will be carried out routinely as long as it is accredited as a testing laboratory, it is necessary to carry out an analysis regarding the findings that often appear at the XYZ Laboratory. This will be useful for formulating preventive and corrective actions in the future. The research used descriptive qualitative with the research subject was a testing laboratory, which consisted of laboratory management and implementer. Data collection is used in this study through semi-structured interviews with employees who have been directly involved in accreditation at the XYZ Laboratory for the formulation, management and application of SNI IEC/ISO 17025: 2017 and non-conformance sheets from 2019 to 2021 from the results of an external audit by the Accreditation Committee. Evaluation of the results of external audits conducted by KAN during 2019, 2020 and 2021, shows that clause 6.4 Equipment, clause 6.2 Personnel, and clause 7.2 Selection, verification and validation of methods, are clauses that often encounter discrepancies. The discrepancy between clauses 6.4 and 6.2 intersects where frequent employee turnover makes employee competence management not run optimally, as evidenced by the discovery of the competence of several employees who do not comply with competency requirements causing equipment maintenance to be hampered.

Abstract

AbstrakKegagalan fungsi girder pada lintasan tripper yang sering terjadi disebabkan oleh keretakan pada penopang silang dan tegak, terjadinya defleksi berlebih pada batang utama, dan perubahan posisi pada kedua kolom. Kerusakan strukur diakibatkan oleh ketidaksesuaian pembebanan yang diterima, sehingga memperlemah komponennya dan dapat berakibat runtuhnya struktur girder. Studi dilakukan dengan mengkaji desain yang sudah ada melalui pendefenisian pembebanan, selanjutnya melakukan perhitungan mekanika pada tiga model pembebanan yang berbeda dan pengecekan kelayakan desain dengan metode LRFD berdasarkan SNI 03-1729-2002 dengan validasi menggunakan analisis elemen hingga. Hasil menunjukkan terjadinya ketidaksesuaian pembebanan yang berakibat kerusakan girder, sehingga diperlukan desain alternatif melalui pemilihan profil, perhitungan kelayakan profil dan analisis ulang untuk memastikan kehandalan rancangan. Dari hasil analisis perhitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain alternatif mempunyai kehandalan yang memadai yaitu defleksinya 0,35 mm dibanding desain lama 15,96 mm berdasarkan perhitungan mekanik, sedangkan hasil analisis elemen hingga, defleksi desain baru 1,08 mm dan desain lama 10,37 mm. Tegangan maksimum desain baru adalah aman terhadap material yang digunakan, yaitu SS400 dengan kekuatan sebesar 245 MPa, dimana hasil perhitungan mekanika diperoleh tegangan maksimum desain baru 52,00 MPa, sedangkan tegangan maksimum hasil analisis elemen hingga adalah 56,31 MPa dan tegangan Von Mises 143,39 MPa.Kata kunci : girder, tripper, LFRD, elemen hingga, Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI).AbstractMalfunction of girder on track tripper that often occurred is caused by cracks in the cross and upright supports, occurrence of excessive deflection on main bar, and a change in position of the both columns. Structural failure is caused by loading discrepancies received, so it is weaken its components and resulted in the collapse of the girder structure. The study was conducted by reviewing existing design through loading analysis, then performing the mechanical calculation on three different loading models and checking the feasibility of the design with LRFD method based on SNI 03-1729-2002 with validation using finite element analysis. Results showed the loading discrepancies resulting in damaged girder, so it is necessary to make design alternatives through the selection of profiles, re-calculation and feasibility analysis of the beam to ensure the reliability of the design. From the calculation analysis, it can be concluded that the alternative design has adequate reliability. Based on mechanical calculations the deflection is 0.35 mm compared to 15.96 mm of the old design, while the result of finite element analysis determine 1.08 mm deflection of the new design and 10.37 mm in old design. The maximum stress of the new design is safe for the material used, ie SS400 with a strength of 245 MPa, wherein mechanical calculation resulted in obtained maximum stress of the new design is 52.00 MPa, while the maximum stress through finite element analysis result is 56.31 MPa and Von Mises stress is 143.39 Mpa.Keywords: girder, tripper, LFRD, finite element, National Indonesian Standard (SNI).

Abstract

 Abstrak Pabrik pengolahan rajungan di Propinsi Lampung telah menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Mutu Produk (SMMP) sejak tahun 1998. Walaupun telah menerapkan SMMP, pabrik tersebut masih dikomplain oleh konsumennya karena mutu produk hasil olahannya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengevaluasi SMMP “value added” rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) untuk menyusun strategi perbaikan SMMP, dan menerapkan strategi perbaikan SMMP untuk mengurangi komplain konsumen. Metode survei dan wawancara diterapkan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penyebab komplain konsumen. .  Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 2 tahap yaitu tahap evaluasi SMMP dan tahap implementasi hasil evaluasi SMMP. Evaluasi SMMP meghasilkan 3 prioritas perbaikan SMMP yang dianalisa dengan metode AHP. Tiga prioritas tersebut yaitu (1) memperbaiki sarana dan prasarana ruang produksi sesuai dengan persyaratan Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) khususnya penambahan lampu UV untuk memudahkan pengecekkan serpihan benda asing agar tidak terikut dalam daging rajungan, (2) memotivasi seluruh karyawan untuk bekerja mengikuti SMMP yang telah diperbaiki secara ketat, dan (3) memonitor dan mengevaluasi hasil kerja seluruh karyawan sesuai dengan SMMP yang telah diperbaiki. Sejak implementasi 3 prioritas SMMP tersebut, komplain konsumen tidak terjadi lagi selama enam bulan terakhir. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan dapat menghindari kerugian finansial akibat komplain konsumen sebesar Rp. 400.000.000 (empat ratus juta rupiah) lebih per tahun.Kata kunci:SMMP, HACCP, Rajungan.

Abstract

A survey of 102 small to medium sized food processors and manufactures in DKI, West Jawa and Banten province, Indonesia  has been conducted for to know the quality assurance (QA) program. The survey was carried out with method to identify and to distribute a questionnaire and also to interview to small and medium scale food industry respondents selected that develope the QA program. The results of the study reveals that the main reasons for implementing one or more quality assurance (QA) programs in the food business were satisfy/meet customers requirements, to seek the highest standard of quality and food safety, provide cotinous quality control and maintenance, reduce legal liability, improve the business structure, facilitatenew market entry and/or to expand market size and sales.  Conversely, the main reasons for not implementing one or more QA programs were :  the cost of QA implementation and maintenance of QA programs to high, there was no need or no legal requirement to implement QA, the businees was too small.  There was insufficient time, a lack of information or lack of resources. The failure to implement QA systems has the potential to exclude small and medium sized food processors and manufactures from many domestic and international markets.

Abstract

The using of artificial sweeteners in food products is more extending, thus evaluation on how food producersimplemented regulation of artificial sweeteners type, maximum level for use, and admonition on product label isneeded. Information was collected according to explanation that written on product packaging (label) such as:type and artificial sweeteners content, and admonition about using and its side effect that based on regulationstated in SNI 01-993-2004 and Indonesian Government Statement No. 69 Year 1999. The food products thatused as sample was categorized in beverages, confectioneries, chewing gum, and dietary supplement products.The observation result showed that many of food products did not add the sweeteners dosage, admonition aboutthe using and it side effect on the label product. Beside that, there were tendency in using more than onesweetener in one product. As for that, the standard or special regulation that regulates the use of artificialsweeteners combination is necessary.

Abstract

As member in organization of international standard ISO, it expected that Indonesia could conduit its importance to survive in the globalization era, that using standards and conformity assessment as a reference in commerce transaction. As one of biggest rubber producer in the world and have importance in international trade, it needs any study of the growth of international trade of Indonesian rubber to all countries destination that concern to international standard related rubber. This study is focused to the countries destination that as a member of international organization for standardization (ISO) especially member of ISO/TC 45, where is Indonesia as a member. The results of this study show that Indonesian rubber export to the ISO/TC 45 member countries destination is growth higher rather than to other countries destination. Its show that the export to the ISO/TC 45 member countries destination is dominated by SITC 231 and to the other countries destination is dominated by SITC 231 and 625.

Abstract

Minyak sawit merupakan komoditi perdagangan yang sangat penting di dunia pada saat ini, dan Indonesia merupakan negara produsen minyak sawit terbesar di dunia. Namun beberapa masalah timbul khususnya terkait keberlanjutan dari produk sawit Indonesia, diantaranya mengenai deforestasi, emisi gas rumah kaca (GRK), dan sosial ekonomi. Negara Indonesia saat ini telah memiliki sistem sertifikasi Indonesia Sustainbility Palm Oil (ISPO) sebagai respon mengenai pembangunan berkelanjutan produk sawit Indonesia. Namun demikian, keberterimaan ISPO di perdagangan global saat ini masih relatif rendah. Pengembangan standar nasional minyak sawit berkelanjutan merupakan strategi yang dapat dilakukan dalam menjawab permasalahan hambatan perdagangan produk minyak sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan parameter teknis utama dalam pengembangan standar nasional minyak sawit berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode FACTS (Framework for Analysis, Comparison, and Testing of Standards) untuk memperoleh parameter utama dalam pengembangan standar nasional minyak sawit berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 13 (tiga belas) parameter utama berupa prinsip-prinsip dalam pengelolaan produk sawit berkelanjutan yang akan digunakan dalam pengembangan standar nasional minyak sawit berkelanjutan. Standar nasional minyak sawit berkelanjutan akan dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman, acuan, dan persyaratan teknis oleh industri dalam memproduksi minyak sawit yang memenuhi kriteria keberlajutan dan mampu diterima oleh pasar internasional. Dengan demikian akan meningkatkan daya saing produk minyak sawit Indonesia dan memberi peningkatan pula terhadap devisa negara.
