Abstract

Learning strategy is one of the factors that can affect the success of a learning. The success of student learning can be measured by the achievement of student learning outcomes based on the standard minimum learning completeness criteria (KKM) that have been set. The purposes of this study: 1) To describe how the learning strategies used by Geography subject teachers in achieving KKM during the Covid-19 pandemic class XI IPS at MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci, 2) To describe how the achievement of KKM in subjects Geography class XI IPS at MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci, 3) To describe how the obstacles faced by Geography subject teachers in carrying out learning strategies for achieving KKM during the covid-19 pandemic in Geography class XI IPS at MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci. This research was conducted in class XI IPS MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci. The results of this study are useful for teachers, students and schools in achieving the KKM of students. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) Learning strategies: a) preliminary activities: the teacher makes lesson plans for one semester. Pre-learning activities are carried out with a pre-test in the form of questions and answers. b) delivery of information: the learning method used is the lecture method and the question and answer method. The media used are teacher's speech, pictures, textbooks, and videos. c) Student participation, student interaction with the teacher is one-way and two-way interaction patterns, while the interaction between students occurs when using the question and answer method and the game method. d) Test: the form of test used by the teacher to evaluate is in the form of an essay. e) follow-up activities: students whose scores have not reached the KKM perform remedial activities. 2) out of a total of 46 students, there are 87% of students or the equivalent of 40 students getting scores above the KKM standard and 13% of students or equivalent to 6 students whose scores have not reached the KKM standard. 3) the obstacles faced are limitations in choosing learning media due to inadequate school facilities and infrastructure, many students are also less active during the learning process, and the school yard is quite narrow and the school is also located in residential areas making noise from outside the classroom. can enter and interfere with the concentration of students during learning activities.

Abstract

Today, science and technology have an impact on the world of education. Teachers are required to use an effective model by using technology. One model that applies technology in teaching is the flipped classroom model. This study aims to determine the effect of the flipped classroom learning model on geography learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Bukittinggi. By using the experimental method in the form of a quasi-experimental model. The research subjects were class X.IPS 4 as the experimental class and class X.IPS 1 as the control class. The sampling technique used was Random Sampling. The data in the study were in the form of a test of student learning outcomes for class X. Social studies. With data collection techniques in the form of interviews, using learning outcomes tests, namely Pretest and Posttest and documentation. Data processing uses individual completeness, normality test, homogeneity test along with T test to determine the hypothesis. The results in this study there is an increase in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. Based on the average calculation, the experimental class got 82.21 results, the control class got 68.43 results. Based on the effectiveness analysis using the Gain Value, the experimental class effectiveness value was 67%, and the flipped classroom model was quite effective to be applied, while for the control class, the effectiveness value was 46%, the conventional model was less effective to apply.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the blended learning learning model in the GIS application course for geography education students 2020 which includes the processes and inhibiting factors. This type of research is a mixed research method that combines quantitative and qualitative research methods and uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. Data was collected by means of observation, questionnaires/questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Sampling using simple random sampling technique to 20 students from 93 students. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the Implementation of the Blended Learning Learning Model in the GIS Application Course at the UNP Geography Education Study Program could be implemented well for the 2020 geography education students because the results of the questionnaire showed an average of 65%. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor of blended learning is that students often experience problems on laptops that cannot be used to practice on mapping applications and do not understand the application of data in ArcGIS and have difficulty carrying out learning practicums.

Abstract

Based on the circular decree of the 4 Ministers Number 03/KB/2021 regarding guidelines for the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 period. With this policy, it is possible for schools to carry out hybrid learning, both by carrying out face-to-face learning activities by utilizing technology in each process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Hybrid Learning Model on student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the type of experimental research with Pretest-Posttest control group design. The population of this research is class X IPS using purposive sampling technique, the research sample is class X IPS 1 and X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 6 Padang. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques for initial conditions, and test techniques to collect data on student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used the Independent Samples T Test as a hypothesis test. The results of this study are based on proving the accepted hypothesis using the T test, where the calculation results obtained sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000 with a significant level of 0.005. From the results of the analysis, it is explained that there is a better influence in the use of content technology-based Hybrid Learning learning models in learning compared to conventional models, as well as the average student learning outcomes taught by the hybrid learning learning model is higher with a gain value of 0.76 taught. "effective" compared to conventional models with a gain value of 0.24 which is classified as "less effective"

Abstract

This study discusses the use of learning resources by geography teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baso Kabupaten Agam. The purpose of the study was to analyze the availability of learning resources, learning resources used by geography teachers in the learning process, and the creativity of geography teachers in utilizing learning resources at SMA Negeri 1 Baso Kabupaten Agam. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The informants in the study were three geography teachers, the principal, and representatives of infrastructure as providers of learning resources at SMA Negeri 1 Baso, Agam Regency, as well as three students, namely representatives from class X, XI, and XII. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation/, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study found that; 1) The availability of learning resources used by geography teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baso Kabupaten Agam is generally quite available 2) Learning resources used by teachers in learning are learning resources that are already available in schools. Teachers often use learning resources such as teachers as the main learning resource, library books and some teaching materials from the internet. 3) The creativity of geography teachers in utilizing learning resources is still lacking, teachers rarely process and use varied types of learning resources in the learning process. Abstract

This study aims to describe the Socio-Economic Condition of Clove Farmers in Nagari Saniangbaka, X Koto Singkarak District, Solok Regency. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive using purposive sampling technique. The sample of research respondents was calculated using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%, so that the sample of respondents was 90 clove farmers. The results of the study can be concluded that: The Saniangbaka community works as main and secondary clove farmers. The education level of the main clove farmers is elementary school (SD) and the secondary clove farmer education is high school or equivalent (SMA). The health condition is quite good, judging from the time of illness in the last 6 months, only 38.9% felt sick 4-6 times. The income from clove crop per month is less than Rp. 1,000,000, with a percentage of 86.7%. The area of ​​land owned by the main clove farmers is larger than that of the secondary clove farmers. The amount of clove production obtained is less than 10 kg/month with a percentage of 81.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the participation of couples of childbearing age (PUS) in the Family Planning (KB) program in the city of Padang Panjang. This research method is descriptive quantitative method with the analytical technique used is univariate analysis which is calculated the percentage then presented in tabular form and narrated. The sample in this study was 102 fertile age couples in two sub-districts in Padang Panjang City, namely West Padang Panjang District and East Padang Panjang District. The results in this study can be seen that those who participate in the family planning program are 86 people of childbearing age with a percentage of 84.31% and those who do not participate in the family planning program are 16 couples of childbearing age with a percentage of 15.69%. From 86 couples of childbearing age who participated in family planning, it can be seen that those who participated in the Family Planning program to delay pregnancy in Padang Panjang Barat District were 17 couples of childbearing age in West Padang Panjang District and 13 couples of childbearing age in East Padang Panjang District, so that The total number of delayers is 30 couples of childbearing age who are classified as having a participation rate for delaying pregnancy, which is at a low level with a percentage of 34.69% in West Padang Panjang District and 35.14% in East Padang Panjang District. Abstract

The aims of this study: 1) To determine the sociodemographic characteristics of the Minang and Javanese interethnic couples in Pauh Duo District. 2) Analyzing the factors that influence inter-ethnic marriage. This type of research is descriptive with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The population in this study were all Minang and Javanese inter-ethnic couples. The sample was randomly selected as many as 100 respondents consisting of inter-ethnic married respondents and 50 inter-ethnic married respondents each. Samples were taken randomly in 5 nagari in Pauh Duo District. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. The results showed: 1) Minang-Javanese couples were on average higher in terms of median age, age at marriage, and family members. Meanwhile, Javanese-Minang couples have higher levels of education, income, and first marriage. The number of inter-ethnic marriages increases 2-3 times every decade. 2) Of all inter-ethnic marriages, 33% are influenced by environmental factors, 32% educational factors, 24% economic factors, and 10% socio-cultural factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru geografi SMA di kota Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Informan pada penelitian ini yaitu guru Geografi SMA di Kota Solok. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (a) Pangkat atau golongan guru geografi di solok sebagian besar memiliki golongan IVa, jenjang pendidikan terakhir sebagian besar S1, untuk lama mengajar sebagian besar berada pada rentang 26-30 tahun, sebagian besar status kepegawaiannya adalah pns dan untuk tahun sertifikasi sebagian besar pada tahun 2009. (b) Pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru geografi SMA di Solok secara umum rata-rata keikutsertaan dari berbagai pilihan jenis pengembangan sebesar 43% termasuk kategori sedang. (c) Pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru geografi SMA di Solok secara mandiri atau usaha guru sendiri dengan rata-rata keikutsertaan dari berbagai pilihan jenis pengembangan sebesar 38,5% tergolong dalam kategori rendah. (d) Pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru geografi SMA di Solok melalui usaha institusi dengan rata-rata keikutsertaan dari berbagai pilihan jenis pengembangan sebesar 47,6% tergolong dalam kategori sedang

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the knowledge of TK (technological knowledge) of geography teachers at SMA Padang city. Using this type of descriptive quantitative research. The research sample used by the geography teacher of Padang City Senior High School amounted to 30 respondents. Using the data obtained from the results of the geography teacher's questionnaire related to the technological knowledge of the geography teacher. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. As for data processing using the percentage test. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that the technological knowledge of the geography teachers of Padang City High School is very good with an average percentage of 86% which consists of the knowledge of geography teachers related to digital technology in the form of software and hardware, a percentage of 100%, the knowledge of geography teachers in applying the platform. google classroom with a percentage of 84%, knowledge of geography teachers in implementing the use of learning videos with a percentage of 84% and knowledge of geography teachers regarding the use of power point as a supportive learning medium with a percentage of 86%.
