Abstract

Bed-step marriage is a tradition that still thrives in several cultures, where a man, usually the younger brother of the deceased husband, marries the deceased's wife to maintain the integrity of the family. Although this tradition is considered an effort to maintain the honor and stability of the family, this practice raises a number of questions from an Islamic legal perspective. This paper aims to examine the phenomenon of bed-step marriage from an Islamic legal perspective, focusing on the requirements for a valid marriage, women's rights, the principle of justice in inheritance, and the purpose of marriage in Islam. Based on a literature review and analysis of sharia arguments, it was found that although Islamic law does not explicitly prohibit marriage with the husband's younger brother after the 'iddah period is over, this practice has the potential to conflict with the principles of consent, freedom to choose a partner, and justice in inheritance if carried out on the basis of coercion or social pressure. Therefore, bed-step marriage in Islamic law is only valid if it meets the requirements that have been set, without any element of coercion, and aims to form a harmonious and loving family.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Islamic fintech ecosystem in Indonesia, focusing on online lending models that comply with Islamic economic principles. Islamic fintech offers inclusive and fair financing solutions, particularly for micro and small enterprises (MSEs). The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through in-depth interviews, document studies, and observations. Data obtained from industry players and users of online lending services show that, although Islamic fintech has great potential to expand financial inclusion, the main challenges include low financial literacy in Islamic finance and limitations in regulatory oversight. The findings imply the need for increased education on Islamic economic principles and strengthened regulations to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of Islamic fintech. This study is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic fintech as an alternative financing model that is more inclusive and based on Islamic principles.

Abstract

Sharia marketing is a marketing concept based on Islamic principles, emphasizing justice, transparency, and honesty in every transaction. This study aims to analyze the application of sharia marketing ethics in companies and its impact on consumer loyalty and business performance. The research uses a qualitative approach with case studies on several companies that implement sharia principles in their marketing activities. The findings show that companies applying sharia marketing ethics principles successfully enhance consumer loyalty and build better relationships with society, although challenges remain regarding the uneven understanding of sharia principles. The implication of these findings is the importance of further education and socialization to business actors and consumers regarding the values of sharia marketing. This study also suggests the need for further research with a broader and deeper scope to understand the long-term effects of implementing sharia marketing.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of integrating the values of the Fruit of the Spirit into the curriculum for first-grade elementary school students. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design. The research sample consisted of 10 first-grade students at SD Negeri 12 Palangkaraya. The instruments used were observations and interviews with teachers and students. The results of the research indicate that the application of the values of the Fruit of the Spirit, including love, joy, and kindness, can lead to an increase in students' positive behavior within the classroom setting. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the values of the Fruit of the Spirit can serve as an effective strategy for the formation of children's character at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Instagram has become one of the effective social media platforms for tourism promotion due to its power in delivering attractive visual information. The Instagram account @dolan.ngebel utilizes this potential to introduce the Telaga Ngebel tourist destination in Ponorogo, East Java. The purpose of this study was to examine the marketing tactics used by the @dolan.ngebel account to make Telaga Ngebel more attractive and how effectively they work to attract more tourists to visit the area. The methods used were content analysis of Instagram account uploads and interviews with account managers. The results of the study showed that Instagram has been utilized as a means of promoting tourism in Telaga Ngebel Ponorogo through various forms and that Instagram is very effective in enhancing the image of Telaga Ngebel as an attractive tourist destination. High-quality photos, short stories included in the captions, and active interaction with followers can influence the interest of potential tourists. However, obstacles such as limited content, resources, and internet connections, low interaction with followers, lack of use of relevant hashtags, and limited understanding of Instagram features are often faced. The proposed solutions include careful content planning, creative skills training, collaboration with professionals, utilization of supporting technology, and content diversification to increase engagement.

Abstract

This research is based on data that shows that qualified human resources will enable educational institutions to achieve their goals easily. By applying good managerial concepts, it is hoped that competitively managed educational institutions can compete healthily and purposefully. This treatise was written with the aim of understanding the concept of human resource management which is used to develop the professional skills of teachers or educators in Islamic educational institutions, especially in institutions called Islamic boarding schools. The research stage that the author carried out was a teaching practicum which was then narrated in the form of descriptions and narrative data. The research used in this treatise is qualitative research by conducting interviews with PKM Madrasah Diniyyah Curriculum who play a role in delegating, supervising and evaluating teacher performance. The results of the research are: basic concepts of HR management as teacher or educator facilitators, evaluation of teacher activity and revitalization and empowerment of students who have graduated from Diniyyah.

Abstract

Since its emergence, TikTok has expanded as a social media platform by facilitating the spread of educational content, particularly English language learning, which has become increasingly attractive to students in Indonesia. This study explores students' perceptions of TikTok's effectiveness in enhancing English proficiency. By focusing on emotional experiences and practical usage, it fills a gap in the literature and provides a deeper understanding of TikTok’s educational impact. A qualitative approach involving 70 social media-active students was employed. Data were gathered through questionnaires and interviews, assessing social media use and perceived platform effectiveness. Results showed a strong preference for TikTok as a supplementary English learning tool due to its accessibility and engaging content. However, issues like internet connectivity and privacy concerns were noted. In conclusion, TikTok has potential as a resource for language practice and skill improvement, suggesting the need to integrate social media into educational strategies for more interactive learning environments.

Abstract

This study explores the perceptions of teachers and students regarding collaborative learning in Grade Eleven at SMA Tri Sukses. Using a qualitative design, the research involved 32 students from class XI M2, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The findings revealed that 55% of students felt collaborative learning facilitated the exchange of ideas, supporting critical thinking and communication skills. However, some students expressed concerns about the method’s effectiveness in helping them master the material, with 52% remaining neutral on the comfort of working in groups. These results highlight the benefits of collaborative learning in enhancing discussions, teacher-student communication, and peer interaction, while also emphasizing the importance of managing group dynamics to ensure comfort and support for all students. The study offers valuable insights for educators aiming to improve collaborative learning strategies in secondary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of fintech and blockchain in Islamic finance, focusing on the effectiveness of Islamic financing, smart contract implementation, and asset tokenization such as digital sukuk and zakat. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach and content analysis of secondary data from academic articles, official reports, and case studies of Islamic fintech platforms. The results of the study indicate that Islamic fintech has succeeded in bringing financial services closer to the unbanked and underbanked, while blockchain technology provides transparency and transaction efficiency in accordance with the values ​​of maqashid sharia. However, there are still structural challenges such as unpreparedness of regulations and minimal collaboration between stakeholders. This study contributes to the development of a technology-based Islamic economy and recommends the establishment of a Shariah Digital Sandbox and the development of an interdisciplinary curriculum as a strategic step forward.

Abstract

This research aims to explore efforts to harmonize Islamic epistemology and economics in Indonesia, with a special focus on the contribution of Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi's thoughts regarding the Islamization of Science. Al-Faruqi's thoughts on the integration of Islamic epistemology in economics are relevant in the current context, where economic issues are often handled without considering unique Islamic perspectives and values. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting a literature review and content analysis of Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi's works that are relevant to the research theme. In addition, data will be collected from primary and secondary sources. Through in-depth analysis, this research will explore Al-Faruqi's views on the integration of Islamic epistemology and how these views can be adapted and implemented in the context of economic science in Indonesia. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide new insights into ways to accommodate Islamic values in economic theory and practice in Indonesia. This research can also provide a valuable contribution to the development of the study of the Islamization of Science and inspire further discussion and reflection regarding the harmonization between Islamic epistemology and contemporary science in various fields.
