Abstract

Santri, coffee and moderation are words that can synergize. The habit of drinking coffee has become a mandatory tradition for students in Islamic boarding schools. This habit then gave rise to the phrase, "Santri if they are not reading the Koran, it means they are drinking coffee". Even if there are students who are unproductive and lazy, they are lacking coffee. Moderation in Arabic is defined as wasathiyyah which refers to a complete paradigm of thinking related to religious attitudes in Islam. However, the word moderation has changed its meaning for Islamic radical groups who are active on social media. Instead of spreading Islamic values kaffah, these radical groups tend to divide Islam in the archipelago. To stem this phenomenon, many santri movements are trying to fight back by making coffee activities that aim to do moderation to restore Islam that is rahmatan lil alamin. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the role of students in carrying out religious moderation with interesting activities, with coffee as a loyal friend who accompanies students in activities. The method used is literature study. The results of the study show that students, coffee, and moderation can synergize not only in maintaining the social order of Indonesia as a multicultural country but can also penetrate the empowerment of the economy for the welfare of students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pertama, efektivitas penyiaran dalam pogram mimbaragama Islam beserta hambatan penyiaran dalam program mimbar agama Islam di TVRI SumateraUtara Medan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulandata yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian adalahpejabat struktural, staff administrasi, kru/petugas program mimbar agama Islam di TVRI SumateraUtara Medan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, penyiaran Islam dalam program mimbar agamaIslam di TVRI Sumatera Utara Medan menggunakan metode perbincangan dan tanya jawab. Kedua,program mimbar agama Islam TVRI Sumatera Utara Medan memiliki keefektifan yaitu menyusunformat siaran yang menarik, menghadirkan presenter yang interaktif, menghadirkan narasumberyang memiliki kompetensi pada bidang keagamaan, memproduksi siaran yang berkualitas, materidakwahnya mampu mencerdaskan penonton, tayangannya memberikan memotivasi dan edukasi.Ketiga, hambatan dalam program mimbar agama Islam meliputi anggaran yang terbatas, daya tampungstudio yang terbatas, antusiasme masyarakat muslim yang masih rendah untuk menyaksikan siaranprogram mimbar agama Islam TVRI Sumatera Utara Medan.Kata Kunci :Efektivitas Penyiaran, Mimbar agama Islam, TVRI Sumatera Utara medan

Abstract

Communication is a necessity that can not be avoided by human being, since communication is also a primary needs for every social creatures. Nowadays, we find on each social status; regardless of social status, education level and occupation then communication takes place on the virtual world, with social media facilities that are very diverse, therefore the communications made by each person more easily and quickly. They will find new friends there, old friends who had not seen a long time, and others. Observing every detail of the text that used by social media user when interacting with friends on "virtual world", will be seen how much their kindness and sincerity in social interactions through the virtual world. This study was conducted by using interview techniques to  10 users of facebook. This is a qualitative study that used a theory of interpersonal communication. The finding in this study was that communication which  done directly face to face is on going replaced by communication  through the social media, especially  Facebook. The social media users are more happy and fun to greet each other virtually, even when they were sitting together, they more enjoy with interaction on virtual world with others. In this study, it can also be found some factors that cause the shifting of face to face communication pattern  into communication via Facebook. There are some factors namely: the distance between them, their own duty then it is impossible to meet, more relaxed and can be done in any case, the language can be set in such a way and low cost. Nevertheless, personal communication by face to face is a manifestation of the real communication, while the communication which  done by social media is an alternative way of communicating with no disturbing and more saving

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the communication model of the management of the IndonesianMosque Youth Youth Communication Agency (BKPRMI) in religious development, to find out the BKPRMImaterial given to the formation of Religion in the village of Bandar Setia, to find out the organizationalbarriers of the Indonesian Youth Mosque Communication Agency. The research method uses a qualitativeapproach. The results of this study indicate that the communication model of the board of the IndonesianYouth Mosque Youth Communication Board in this organization is in carrying out the religious guidanceof adolescents in Bandar Setia village between administrators and coaches in accordance with Lasswell’smodel theory where the communication model is a simple communication process of communicationelements . the practice in the community or private in its implementation is left entirely to each individual.Each board and coach can only persuasively invite without coercion. Coaching materials that are carriedout include useful activities such as recitation, establishing TPQ for children who want to learn and readthe Koran and increase the ability to organize in terms of leadership and entrepreneurship. The obstaclesfaced are internal and external factors, some residents who are less enthusiastic about their children toparticipate in religious activities, and the lack of awareness of parents with low education about moraleducation, busy teenagers in the outside world result in rarely follow religious development, there areteenagers who do not want to follow the mosque youth organization.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model komunikasi pengurus Badan Komunikasi Pemuda RemajaMasjid Indonesia (BKPRMI) dalam pembinaan agama, untuk mengetahui materi BKPRMI yang diberikanpada pembinaan Agama di desa Bandar Setia, untuk mengetahui hambatan organisasi lembaga BadanKomunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model komunikasi pengurus Badan Komunikasi Pemuda RemajaMasjid Indonesia di dalam organisasi ini dalam melakukan pembinaan keagamaan remaja di desa BandarSetia antara pengurus dengan pembina sesuai dengan teori modelLasswell dimana model komunikasitersebut merupakan proses komunikasi yang sederhana dari unsur-unsur komunikasi. praktek di dalamkemasyarakatan ataupun pribadi dalam pelaksanaannya diserahkan sepenuhnya kepada masing-masingindividu. Setiap pengurus dan Pembina hanya bisa mengajak secara persuasif tanpa adanya paksaan.Materi pembinaan yang dilakukan antara lain ialah Pengajian dan Dialog dilaksanakan setiap malamsabtu setelah selesai solat Isya, pesantren kilat Dalam rangka untuk mengisi kegiatan pada bulan ramadhan,gotong royong dalam menyambut perayaan hari besar Islam secara umum kegiatannya berupa, pengajianumum, halal bi halal, menyembelih Qurban, pembagian zakat, khataman qur’an khitanan missal, pengobatangratis, refleksi kebangkitan Islam, festival anak sholeh. Mengadakan pelatihan kepada remaja terutamauntuk pengembangan aspek kemampuan intelektual, keterampilan, kreatifitas dan kepribadian manusia,terutama pada remaja yaitu pelatihan rebana, pelatihan tadarus Qur’an, pelatihan seni membaca Qur’an,pelatihan sehari membaca Al-Quran, serta melakukan bakti sosial. Hambatan yang dihadapi ialah faktorinternal dan ekternal, sebagian warga yang kurang begitu antusias terhadap anaknya untuk mengikutikegiatan keagamaan, dan kurangnya kesadaran para orang tua yang berpendidikan rendah mengenaipendidikan moral, kesibukan remaja di dunia luar mengakibatkan jarang mengikuti pembinaan agama,adanya remaja yang tidak mau mengikuti organisasi remaja masjid.

Abstract

This study seeks to describe the Koranic statement on literacy culture and the importance of character development. This article discusses the contemporary issues of the Indonesian nation, specifically the low incidence of illiteracy. Ironically, low levels of illiteracy are not followed by high levels of literacy. The greatest contributor to Indonesia's low literacy rate is a lack of interest, according to data collected by the author. In fact, the Qur'an emphasizes the influence of literacy culture on character formation. In this article, the author focuses primarily on verses 1 through 5 of surah al-'Alaq. This article employs a qualitative methodology that is interpretive and social in orientation. The technique for collecting data is a literature review involving the examination of numerous scientific works with titles. This article employs content analysis to generate reliable information. The results of the study indicate, first, that Muslims are obligated by the Koran to cultivate a reading culture with a strong correlation to literacy. Second, surah al-Alaq has a substantial impact on character development, as the strength and weakness of a person's character is largely dependent on his or her literacy culture. Third, all of sura al-Alaq's messages can be used as a resource for character development.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalampembangunan sosial dkeagamaan di kota Langsa. Secara khusus, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui:1) Untuk mengetahui bentuk Komunikasi Pembangunan Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam pembangunansosial dan keagamaan di kota Langsa. 2) Untuk mengetahui peran komunikasi pembangunan BadanPemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam bidang sosial dan keagamaan di kota Langsa. 3) Untuk mengetahuifaktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat komunikasi pembangunan Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakatdalam pembangunan sosial keagamaan di kota Langsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatifdeskriptif analitik. Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam membangunmasyarakat gampong, ada tiga peran yang dimainkan Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kota Langsasebagai Komunikator Pembangunan sosial keagamaan.Pertama, Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakatberperan sebagai katalisator atau sebagai orang yang berupaya untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakatdalam pembangunan.Kedua, Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat kota Langsa berperan sebagai orangyang memberikan solusi(problem solver) bagi setiap permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat, terutamadalam pembangunan. Ketiga, Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kota Langsa berperan sebagai innovatoryang memperkenal yang memperkenalkan ide-ide maupun penemuan-penemuan baru kepada masyarakat,terkait dengan dengan penggunaannya dalam mendukung suksesnya pembangunan.

Abstract

The Influence of Communication Models in Building Youth Entrepreneurial Spirit in Medan City. Thepurpose of this journal which discusses the influence of communication models in building the entrepreneurial spirit of youth in the city of Medan is to explain how to convey or inform about buildingand developing an entrepreneurial spirit for youth in the city of Medan. This study uses the method of understanding or observing the area around the city of Medan as a data collection process. The techniqueof analyzing or observing is using sequential learning methods by analyzing a problem. The results showed that the way of entrepreneurship communication, selfdebriefing, and actions in entrepreneurship had aclear effect on the performance of small businesses in developing businesses. It can be seen that the formation of small business performance must be able to take into account the large variables of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship provision, and actions in entrepreneurship. The impact for research is that we as educators must be extra in building the character of the soul of young people in improving how to make them have a creative soul to build an entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

forms of socialization of APJII North Sumatra in socializing internet security and to determine the obstacles and solutions of APJII North Sumatra in socializing internet security. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a Communication Science approach (Diffusion of Innovation). Because this study explains the phenomena that occur in the field by collecting data obtained from research informants. The results of the study found by the researcher are as follows, basically the role of the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) of North Sumatra refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia Number 32 of 2015 contained in article 2, namely: creating order in the management of Internet Protocol Numbers (PI), protecting the public interest from misuse and risk of loss due to management and use of PI Numbers that are not in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations and providing a sense of security, justice and legal certainty for internet managers and users. The Socialization Programs delivered are public dialogue, press conferences, socialization carried out through the Miss Internet Indonesia program, etc. Forms of APJII North Sumatra Socialization in socializing internet security to the community according to the Islamic Communication Perspective are external socialization and internal socialization. The obstacles experienced by APJII North Sumatra are human resources that are still low because there are still many people who are not media literate and lack of time between APJII North Sumatra members, etc. Implicitly, all solutions provided by APJII North Sumatra are for the good of the community, in this case related to the elements of da'wah, namely amar makruf nahi mungkar and the principle of reward and sin is the provision of motivation and conveying good things. So from the data obtained by the researcher, the role of the Indonesian Internet Service Provider Association (APJII) North Sumatra has not been maximized. This can be seen from the fact that there are still many people who are not information literate with the socialization of internet security carried out by APJII North Sumatra.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to provide an analytical explanation for; first, The Effect OfOrganizational Communication Climate on Employee Performance . Second, The Effect Of InterpersonalCommunication On Employee Performance. Third, The Effect Of Organizational Communication ClimateAnd Interpersonal Communication On Performance Of Employees At Ar-Risalah Al-Khairiyah FoundationTanjung Morawa District Deli Serdang. With questionaires that had been distributed to 37 employees,the main data to be analyzed were gathered. Data analysis using a quantitative approach with linearregression analysis. Also the data process and its analysis were performed with software SPSS to calculateeffect coefficient and furthermore, to be interpreted.
