Abstract

This research investigates the impact of AI literacy on leadership effectiveness within the finance industry, a sector experiencing rapid digital transformation. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into financial operations, leaders are required to possess not only traditional managerial skills but also a strong understanding of AI concepts, applications, and ethical considerations. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 55 finance professionals occupying leadership roles across various organizations. The study assessed their levels of AI literacy and examined its relationship with their perceived leadership effectiveness. The results reveal a significant positive correlation between AI literacy and leadership effectiveness, indicating that leaders with higher AI literacy are better equipped to drive innovation, make strategic decisions, and successfully adapt to technological change. These findings highlight the importance of integrating AI literacy into leadership development programs and fostering a culture of continuous learning to ensure sustained organizational agility and competitiveness in the finance sector.

Abstract

Nori is a seaweed-based food that is favored by the Indonesian people, but its availability is still limited. Meanwhile, the abundant production of land kale (Ipomoea reptans) as a local vegetable has not been optimally utilized, resulting in low economic value and its potential as a food source has not been maximized. One solution to overcome this problem is to use organic land kale as an alternative ingredient for making nori. Organic land kale is known to have good nutritional content and is commonly consumed by the community. This study aims to determine the level of acceptance of analog nori made from organic land kale as a healthy snack through organoleptic tests. The method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 24 samples, 6 treatments, and 4 repetitions. The treatment given was carrageenan concentration (0%, 0.6%, 0.8%, 1%, 1.2%, and 1.4%) Data were analyzed using the Friedman Test to assess panelists' preferences for taste, color, aroma, and texture parameters. It can be concluded that the results show the addition of carrageenan at 1% produces analog nori with the highest level of acceptance, so it is considered the most optimal formulation.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a viral infection marked by a significant decrease in platelet count. Accurate platelet count testing is crucial for diagnosing and monitoring DHF patients. The pre-analytical phase is a critical stage in laboratory testing, where errors can significantly impact test outcomes. Anticoagulants, such as K3EDTA and 3.2% sodium citrate, are commonly used in routine hematology tests to prevent blood clotting by binding calcium ions and inhibiting clotting factor activation. This study aimed to evaluate the difference in platelet counts between blood samples collected with K3EDTA and 3.2% sodium citrate anticoagulants in DHF patients. An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 50 purposively sampled DHF patients. Statistical analysis yielded a p-value of 0.615 (p > 0.05), indicating no significant difference in platelet counts between the two anticoagulants. It can be concluded that the use of K3EDTA and 3.2% sodium citrate does not significantly affect platelet count results in DHF patients. Future studies are recommended to involve larger sample sizes and consider microscopic examination methods, such as peripheral blood smears, to assess platelet aggregation visually.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an endemic disease in Indonesia caused by the dengue virus and transmitted through the bites of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. The risk of serious complications primarily arises during the critical phase, typically between the 4th and 6th days of fever, during which plasma leakage may occur, leading to shock and severe bleeding. Hematocrit levels and platelet counts are important parameters in the diagnosis and monitoring of DHF patients. This study aimed to determine the differences in hematocrit levels and platelet counts during days 4 to 6 of fever in DHF patients at Prima Medika Hospital Denpasar, in February 2025. This research employed a descriptive quantitative design with purposive sampling, involving 35 patients who met the inclusion criteria. The results showed a decrease in hematocrit levels with averages of 42.8%, 42%, and 41.2%, and platelet counts with averages of 87 x 10³/µL, 59 x 10³/µL, and 47 x 10³/µL from day 4 to day 6 of fever. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the Friedman non-parametric test for hematocrit levels, and the Repeated Measures ANOVA parametric test for platelet counts. Statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.002 for hematocrit levels and 0.000 for platelet counts. The conclusion of this study is that there are significant differences in hematocrit levels and platelet counts between days 4 to 6 of fever in DHF patients.

Abstract

Congenital hypothyroidism (CH) is an endocrine disorder that can cause developmental delays if not detected and treated early. Congenital Hypothyroidism Screening (CHS) aims to detect abnormal levels of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) in newborns before clinical symptoms appear. The timing of blood sample collection is a critical factor because TSH levels physiologically surge within the first 24 hours of life. This study aims to determine the accuracy of TSH sampling time in CH screening at Prima Medika General Hospital, Denpasar. A descriptive analytical method was used with a total sampling technique involving 105 neonates who underwent CHS from October to December 2024. Secondary data were obtained from laboratory request forms and the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Results showed that 92.4% of samples were collected on the second day of life, which aligns with the ideal window of 48–72 hours, and only 1.9% of neonates had elevated TSH levels. The study concludes that most sample collections met the recommended timing, contributing to valid results and effective CHS implementation. Timely sampling plays a vital role in early CH detection and reflects the overall quality of neonatal laboratory services.

Abstract

Shopee, as one of the e-commerce establishments established in 2015 and part of the Sea Group in Southeast Asia, has succeeded in creating a safe, user-friendly and fast online shopping platform. With strong operations in seven markets in Southeast Asia, Shopee not only provides a platform for buyers to find products, but also provides training and support to their sellers. The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia is also influenced by factors such as the increase in population, increasing smartphone and internet users, and the development of financial technology companies. The convenience of online shopping encourages consumers to buy various desired products so that they are encouraged to behave consumptively. This then stimulates the phenomenon of impulse buying in consumers. Currently, economic activities are dominated by Generation Z's behavior to carry out activities such as scrolling, online shopping, and making transactions. Some marketplaces have not paid attention to the positive emotions of consumers with the Generation Z group in the target market, hedonic shopping motivation, fear of missing out, and shopping lifestyle that can trigger impulsive purchases which are part of the consideration of the preparation and strategy of innovative marketing targets according to the needs of market psychology. This study aims to find out how much respondents assess hedonic shopping motivation, fear of missing out, and shopping lifestyle, find out the influence of hedonic shopping motivation, fear of missing out, and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying generation Z, find out the influence of positive emotions on impulse buying generation Z, to know the influence of hedonic shopping motivation, fear of missing out and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying through positive emotions. This study uses a quantitative method. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data obtained was 385 respondents by distributing questionnaires online. The respondents in this study are Generation Z Shopee users in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) which was then processed with SMARTPLS. The results of this study are hedonic shopping motivation, fear of missing out, shopping lifestyle, positive emotion have a significant positive effect on impulse buying.
