Abstract

Yogyakarta is a popular destination as a place of ecotourism, currently, there are about 182 ecotourism objects. Following the development of regional and national competition, this research attempts to improve the competitiveness of ecotourism Yogyakarta by using the concept of competition strategy Porter's Diamond Model produces findings that the level of Yogyakarta ecotourism competitiveness is at MEDIUM level or has a value of 2.39 from 3 scale. The competitiveness aspect includes the Factor Conditions (FC) at the MEDIUM level (score 2.00), Demand Conditions (FS) at the MEDIUM level (score 2.50), Firm Structure, Strategy, and Rivalry(FOR) at the MEDIUM level (score 2.33); Support and Related Industries(SRI) at the Medium level (score 2.33); Government Role at the MEDIUM level (score 2.50), and Chance Factor at the MEDIUM level (score 2.67).Keywords: Daya Saing, Porter’s Diamond Model, Ekowisata

Abstract

Cigaru Blue Lake Rural Tourism is located in Cigaru Village, Cisoka Village, approximately 10 kilometers from the Tangerang Regency Government Headquarters. The attraction of this destination is a distinctive culture and lake that has blue water colour, the lake is not a natural tourism but artificial tourism, the destination has become famous and can become a tourist village in the Cisoka area, Tangerang because it has inclusion from the Cigaru Village government. and supervised by the local community and there is authority as the headman. it has problems, first, related to visits in recent times, visits have decreased even if there are no visitors. Second, several facilities were damaged, there was no cost to renovate, thus hampering its development. The method used is a qualitative case study and the technique used is descriptive. The conclusions from this study were concluded based on the formulation of the existing problems and the results were: The impact of the pandemic on the Cigaru Blue Lake Rural Tourism, namely the decrease in tourist visits that occurred resulting in a decrease in the economic level experienced by the people of Cigaru Village, then the CHSE protocol had not been implemented so that the destination has not been able to operate again. In addition, researchers found other problems outside of the impact of the pandemic, namely the ineffectiveness of the concept of a rural tourist in the destination so that the right strategy was needed to draw conclusions in strategic planning, then the development strategy needed in the Cigaru Blue Lake Rural Tourism, namely by implementing CHSE and developing on facilities and activities (Eco-Lodge, Eco-Recreation and Eco-Education) at Cigaru Blue Lake Rural Tourism. Abstract

The shift in trends in organizing MICE events which are conventionally known as mass gathering activities and as a result of the pandemic there have been changes. This already happened in all countries in the world which then responded with various policies to maintain business sustainability despite being pessimistic. Stakeholders are hesitant in changing the paradigm of MICE activities from conventional models to virtual or hybrid models. This doubt is caused by the advantages and disadvantages of each type of event which will most likely reduce business profits. A simple literature review known as feature selection is used to find answers to this problem. Based on the analysis it was found that event activities are now popular in virtual and hybrid ways. Both virtual and hybrid events have changed the conventional perspective of understanding events. Although the implementation is simpler, the two events have a smaller economic impact compared to regular events that were popular in the pre-pandemic era. This paper also tries to find case studies in several countries that have successfully organized MICE events during the pandemic. In the end, a new taxonomy of event management emerged, namely original (regular) events, virtual events, and hybrid events. This change in the landscape of organizing MICE events will be an important consideration for MICE business people who may experience stagnation in recent times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Malioboro is one of the popular tourist destinations in the city of Yogyakarta, and also as a tourism icon in the city of Yogyakarta which is often visited by tourists. Malioboro is also a link between the monument and the palace or better known as the imaginary line that cannot be separated from the concept of the Yogyakarta Palace's urban planning philosophy. Pedestrian Malioboro is located in the tourist area of Malioboro with high economic, social and cultural values, making it a favorite destination for tourists. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods. The quantitative method in this study was used to analyze the influence of the Malioboro area as a pedestrian area on the interest of tourist visits. Interest in visiting is basically a feeling of wanting to visit an interesting place to visit. Interest in visiting is the act of tourists in choosing or deciding to visit a tourist attraction based on their experience in traveling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merumuskan model secara kuantitatif gambaran perilaku wisatawan domestic dalam memilih hotel hijau (green hotel) di Yogyakarta, dengan melibatkan sejumlah variabel uji dengan 5 variabel terikat (pengalaman ramah lingkungan, kepedulian lingkungan, citra hotel, harga, dan kelompok referensi) dan variable bebas keputusan pembelian ramah lingkungan, kepuasan konsumen, dan loyalitas konsumen. Penelitian di lakukan terhadap 215 responden yang menginap di sejumlah hotel yang telah mendapat penghargaan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan, kemudian dilakukan uji model dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil yang di dapatkan bahwa 4 variabel bebas berpengaruh signifikan pada keputusan pembelian hijau, kecuali harga. Pada tipikal konsumen yang mengedepankan kepedulian lingkungan harga tidak menjadi sebuah pertimbangan penting. Pada pengujian lanjutan yaitu uji model nilai Good of Fit memenuhi kriteria uji sehingga model reliabel digunakan. Penelitian ini penting menjadi referensi bagi segenap pelaku usaha pariwisata khususnya hotel hijau bagaimana mengelola dan menjaring pangsa pasar domestik.

Abstract

Penelitian yang membahas tentang keputusan berpartisipasi pada event belum banyak dibahas, dan penelitian ini adalah upaya menemukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi delegasi yaitu para wisatawan bisnis (business traveller) berpartisipasi pada event JITM 2019 di Yogyakarta. Faktor yang dimaksud meliputi aksesibilitas, event organizer (EO), akomodasi, lokasi (venue), dan harga-harga. Dari hasil observasi pada 100 peserta dengan menggunakan uji asumsi klasik di dapatkan bahwa faktor-faktor tersebut yaitu aksesibilitas, EO, akomodasi, venue, dan persepsi harga secara signifikan mempengaruhi keputusan partisipasi peserta.

Abstract

Pariwisata berperan dalam kesejahteraan masyarakat, sebagaimana dalam Undang Undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2009 tentang Kepariwisataan pada pasal 3. Dalam undang-undang tersebut dijelaskan beberapa fungsi kepariwisataan ialah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan jasmani, rohani, serta intelektual wisatawan dengan rekreasi dan perjalanan, juga meningkatkan pendapatan negara dengan jalan mewujudkan kesejahteraan rakyat. Masyarakat dapat berperan pengembangan pariwisata dalam hal pengembangan kesadaran, pemahaman, dan juga penghayatan. Untuk itu peran masyarakat mencoba melakukan sebuah pendekatan berbasis akademik dalam melihat dan mengembangkan pariwisata dengan mempergunakan metode yang cocok dalam meningkatkan minat dan ketertarikan dengan menggunakan Metode 4A atau dalam pengartian adalah Attraction, Accesibilty, Amenity, Anciliary Services. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif deskriptif. Yang mana data yang didapatkan berbentuk angka, lalu dilakukan pengolahan dan alasisis data untuk memperoleh gambaran dan hubungannya antara variabel yang dilibatkan pada penelitian. Alat analisis data yang menggunakan software SPSS 26.0 yang meliputi uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan seluruh variabel berpengaruh secara signifikan ialah attraction (X1), amenity (X2), accesbility (X3), dan acilliary (X4), berpengaruh positif dan signifikan kepada motivasi berkunjung wisatawan ke Candi Borobudur, dan variabel yang paling berpengaruh atau memiliki pengaruh yang paling besar adalah variabel amenity (X2).

Abstract

Kemitraan pada bisnis perhotelan terbentuk tidak hanya dikarenakan adanya unsur saling membutuhkan dengan mitra namun juga memberikan dampak pada pertumbuhan bisnis hotel. Gambaran pola kemitraan dan dampak terhadap pertumbuhan bisnis hotel belum banyak ditelaah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk pola kemitraan, serta dampak kemitraan pada bisnis perhotelan di Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam kepada informan terpilih, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi temuan. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya direduksi dan disajikan melalui uraian serta bagan dan gambar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pola kemitraan yang umum diterapkan oleh hotel dengan mitra berbentuk Pola Kemitraan Inti plasma dan Pola Kemitraan Subkontrak. Dampak yang dihasilkan dengan adanya bentuk kemitraan tersebut yaitu pertumbuhan bisnis hotel bertambah dari segi properti. Kemitraan yang terbangun perlu dilandasi kontrak kerja sama secara tertulis untuk memberikan dampak positif tidak hanya bagi bisnis hotel namun juga pemasok. Kerja sama yang terbangun menjadi dukungan satu sama lain untuk membuat perputaran ekonomi terus berjalan dan dapat dirasakan oleh semua pihak.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is known as a city with history and culture that is strongly connected with Javanese ancestral values, there are more than 10 (ten) museums in Yogyakarta. The Sonobudoyo Museum is one of the historical tourist destinations in Yogyakarta which has experienced a very productive decline in tourist visits from the 2017-2021 period. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of destination image, product value, and service quality on tourist satisfaction at the Yogyakarta Sonobudoyo Museum. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 256 respondents, the data collection instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, as well as significant tests (t test and F test). The conclusion from this study is that there is an influence of destination image, product value, and service quality on tourist satisfaction at the Sonobudoyo Museum. The correlation coefficient shows that there is a quant relationship between variable X and variable Y.

Abstract

Candi Borobudur adalah destinasi wisata yang sudah mendunia dan dikunjungi jutaan wisatawan baik domestic maupun manca. Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkapkan sisi marketing mix pada Candi Borobudur yang dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan data sekunder. Pengamatan yang dihasilkan berupa kelompok segmen pasar, dan aspek marketing mix yang terdiri produk, harga, tempat, promosi, proses, sumberdaya manusia, dan bukti fisik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di di dapatkan bahwa di hampir semua aspek bauran pemasaran menunjukkan performa yang baik hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa Candi Borobudur adalah destinasi tujuan wisata yang sudah maju
