Abstract

Obesity in mothers is a major worldwide health issue that significantly raises the need for obstetric procedures, especially cesarean sections. Numerous difficulties for both mothers and newborns have been linked to elevated pre-pregnancy and gestational body mass indexes (BMI). The purpose of this study is to characterize the distribution of delivery methods among pregnant women who are obese at Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Regional Hospital in Lampung Province, Indonesia. Total sampling was used to perform a quantitative, descriptive retrospective analysis. 58 pregnant women with a BMI of 30 kg/m² or above who gave birth between 2017 and 2023 were included. SPSS version 27.0 was utilized for data analysis. Findings out of the 58 instances that could be analyzed, 69.0% of obese pregnant women gave delivery via cesarean section, 27.6% gave birth spontaneous vaginally, and 3.4% had a vacuum induction. The majority (31.0%) were between the ages of 35 and 39, and 77.6% were multiparous. The type of delivery was found to be strongly influenced by maternal age, parity, and obesity. Being obese greatly raises the risk of having a cesarean section, especially for older and multiparous women. Reducing needless cesarean rates and improving mother and newborn outcomes may be possible with early treatments such as lifestyle modification education, prenatal counseling, and BMI-based risk assessment.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of the heritage tourism destination Taman Sari Yogyakarta. As a cultural site with rich historical and architectural values, Taman Sari has great potential to become a leading historical tourism destination through the application of modern digital technologies. This research is highly relevant in the context of the Society 5.0 era, where digital transformation and multi-stakeholder collaboration through the pentahelix model (government, academia, business sector, community, and media) are key approaches in sustainable tourism governance. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify the potential of AI application in enhancing the attractiveness of Taman Sari as a heritage tourism site, (2) to analyze the role of local communities in the digital transformation of the destination, and (3) to formulate a structured collaborative strategy for the development of AI based heritage destinations. The research employs a qualitative method using data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants included representatives from government, local communities, academia, tourism businesses, and tourists. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data and identify patterns and meanings related to stakeholder participation and partnership. The findings indicate that AI can serve as a tool for cultural preservation and enhancement of tourist experiences, through features such as historical chatbots and augmented reality. However, challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, low digital literacy among local communities, and weak inter-stakeholder collaboration. The study also finds that local communities have the potential to act as agents of digital literacy if actively involved in training programs and AI-based tourism management. The research concludes that developing heritage tourism destinations like Taman Sari requires strong synergy among stakeholders through the formation of inclusive digital collaboration forums. AI technology can be a valuable medium for cultural preservation when implemented in a contextual, participatory, and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Digital technologies are changing rapidly, and this has changed the financial services industry, especially how people decide where to invest their money. This study looks at how digital literacy, financial literacy, and fear of missing out (FOMO) affect how much risk young investors are willing to take when investing with information disclosure as a mediating variable. The research data is taken from 447 investors of Gen Y and Z in West Java and used Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLSSEM). The results show that being financially literate makes people more likely to search for financial information, but it also makes them less willing to take risks when investing. This suggests that people who know a lot about money are more careful when they invest. On the other hand, FOMO has a positive effect on both information searching and risk tolerance, showing how emotions can affect people online. Digital literacy helps people be more willing to take risks, but it does not have a big effect on how much information they search. These results show how important cognitive and emotional factors are in determining how people act when it comes to IT-driven finances. The study helps with responsible digital transformation by showing how important it is for individuals to be ready to navigate fintech ecosystems. It also gives regulators, platform providers, and educators ideas on how to promote more informed and resilient investment practices.

Abstract

The phenomenon of online shopping has driven business players to be more innovative in promoting their products on existing digital platforms. There is a technological innovation that allows online businesses to showcase and demonstrate their products in real-time, known as live streaming shopping. TikTok has become one of the popular social-commerce platforms with beauty content within its application. This study aims to better understand the influence of TikTok live streaming shopping on the purchase intention of the local beauty brand through emotional factors. We applied the S-O-R (Stimulus, Organism, Response) model, with influencer credibility variables added to the emotional factors in the S-O-R model. Data were collected from 300 respondents who registered through a Google Form survey with predetermined criteria. PLS-SEM using Smart PLS was chosen for data analysis. The study revealed that attraction, cognitive assimilation, and influencer credibility mediate the relationship between real-time interaction, shopping guidance, visibility, media richness, and consumer purchase intention. Therefore, live streaming shopping through emotional factors significantly influences consumers' purchase intention. This research found that the enrichment of material living standards has transformed people’s purely demand-oriented shopping style. This study result help enterprises to better apply live streaming more effectively and expanding channels promotion strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the financial performance of PT Global Teleshop Tbk for the period 2017–2021 based on liquidity, profitability, solvency, and activity ratio analysis. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The population consists of the financial statements of PT Global Teleshop Tbk, with the sample being the company's financial reports from the last five years (2017–2021). The data analysis uses financial ratios. The results show that: (1) The liquidity ratio analysis indicates good financial performance, as shown by the increasing Current Ratio (CR) and Quick Ratio (QR), demonstrating the company's improving ability to meet short-term liabilities with liquid current assets, although the QR still falls into the less optimal category; (2) The profitability ratio analysis indicates poor performance, with low Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Return on Equity (ROE), showing the company's limited ability to generate profits from shareholders' funds; (3) The solvency ratio analysis shows weak financial performance, with Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) indicating the company’s inability to cover total liabilities with its assets; (4) The activity ratio analysis, based on Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Working Capital Turnover (WCT), also suggests poor performance due to declining asset turnover and ineffective management of working capital.
