Abstract

Every country strives to minimize the unemployment rate as much as possible. The Open Unemployment Rate in Banten Province, which has consistently been higher than the national average, has become a serious concern. This study aims to examine the influence of the labor force participation rate, economic growth, average years of schooling, and city minimum wage on the open unemployment rate in Banten Province during the 2017-2023 period. This research utilizes Eviews 12 software with a panel data approach, combining cross-sectional and time-series data over seven years, from 2017 to 2023. The method applied in this study is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The data analyzed in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Banten Province. The research findings indicate that the labor force participation rate, economic growth, and average years of schooling have a negative and significant effect on the open unemployment rate in eight districts/cities in Banten Province from 2017 to 2023. Conversely, the city minimum wage variable has a positive but insignificant effect. Additionally, the independent variables, namely the labor force participation rate, economic growth, average years of schooling, and city minimum wage, simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable, which is the open unemployment rate in Banten Province during the 2017-2023 period, contributing 76.48% to the variation in the open unemployment rate in Banten Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of work life balance in improving the performance of millennial employees. This research approach collects data through literature studies, which involve reading literature from various sources including books, journals and reports using qualitative and deductive approaches. The findings in this study are that work life balance is a key factor in improving the performance of millennial employees. By providing flexibility in time and work location, creating a healthy and positive work culture, implementing health and well-being programs, career development and training, and using technology for work efficiency. So with this, the company can improve employee performance. Companies that successfully implement work life balance well will not only benefit in the form of improved employee performance, but will also have a reputation as an attractive workplace for the millennial generation and the next generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of business risk, financial risk, and market risk on the capital structure of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2023. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of annual financial reports. The sampling technique used in this study is the purposive sampling method with the number of companies used as samples being 30 companies, but 14 companies that meet the criteria. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program application. The results of this study indicate that business risk has no effect on capital structure. While financial risk and market risk affect capital structure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financing management of early childhood education in Tadika Anakku Sholeh Malaysia. The main focus of this research is to identify sources of financing, cost planning, and the effectiveness of financial management in supporting the educational process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the collection of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the management of financing management goes through three stages, namely: financing planning, financing implementation, and financing evaluation. The three stages above cannot be separated because they are interrelated with each other. The Anakku Sholeh kindergarten school shows that the main source of financing at Anakku Sholeh Kindergarten comes from parental contributions. Even with minimal costs or financing obtained only from dues or tuition fees, this kindergarten can carry out an effective financing management strategy so that the operations in the school can run smoothly until now and the funds are allocated for school operational needs, salaries of educators, and the development of facilities and curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of brand image and sales promotion on consumers’ purchase decisions at Matahari Department Store Pakuwon Mall Solo, with brand trust as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method and purposive sampling technique. Respondents were individuals aged 17 and above, residing in Solo City, and had experience shopping for clothing at the research site. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results reveal that brand image significantly affects purchase decisions, while sales promotion and brand trust do not have a significant influence. Furthermore, brand image and sales promotion positively influence brand trust. However, brand trust fails to mediate the relationship between both brand image and sales promotion with purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing continuance intention to use QRIS-based electronic payment systems. A quantitative approach was applied using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the relationships among performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, customer satisfaction, and continuance intention to use. Respondents were individuals who had used QRIS more than three times, and data were collected through an online questionnaire. The results indicate that performance expectancy and facilitating conditions have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a significant affects the continuance intention to use QRIS. However, performance expectancy and facilitating conditions do not directly influence continuance intention; instead, their effects are mediated by customer satisfaction. These findings highlight the crucial role of user satisfaction in enhancing the willingness to continue using QRIS.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media supervision, social media interaction, and social media information sharing on brand purchase intention of The Body Shop, with brand equity as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was used with primary data collected through surveys distributed to 150 respondents who have purchased and are familiar with The Body Shop products. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results showed that social media supervision, social media interaction, and social media information sharing significantly and positively influence brand purchase intention and brand equity. Brand equity was found to mediate the relationship between the three independent variables and brand purchase intention. This study provides insights for companies to leverage social media as an effective marketing tool to enhance purchase intention and brand loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance on financial performance in conventional banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019–2023. The method used is quantitative with a secondary data approach obtained from annual financial reports. The sample was determined through a purposive sampling technique with certain criteria, and data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The independent variables in this study include the independent board of commissioners, company size, audit committee, and institutional ownership, while financial performance is the dependent variable measured by the capital adequacy ratio. Before the regression test was carried out, the data was first tested using the classical assumption test, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The results showed that the independent board of commissioners and company size did not have a significant effect on financial performance, so that hypotheses H1 and H2 were rejected. Meanwhile, the audit committee has a significant effect on financial performance so that hypothesis H3 is accepted, while institutional ownership shows a significant effect but the direction of the relationship is not as expected, so hypothesis H4 is still rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate in depth the causal relationship between online customer reviews and brand image on purchase intention of fashion products on the Shopee platform, with trust as an intervening variable. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a non-probabilistic sampling technique through a purposive sampling method, involving 170 participants selected based on specific criteria. The data collection instrument is a digital questionnaire that is distributed online. The data obtained is then processed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique with SmartPLS software. The findings show that both online customer reviews and brand image provide a positive and significant contribution to purchase intention. In addition, both variables also significantly strengthen trust, which then significantly influences purchase intention. Furthermore, trust plays an essential mediator in bridging the influence of online customer reviews and brand image on purchase intention.

Abstract

This research aims to provide empirical evidence by examining the influence of rental income, the number of customers, and loans granted on the profitability of PT Pegadaian Indonesia. sing an associative, quantitative approach, the study analyzes 15 annual financial reports from 2008 to 2022, and samples were drawn using a saturated sampling technique. Sourced from PT Pegadaian's official website at https://www.pegadaian.co.id/. The data analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression. The research findings indicate the following: 1. Rental income has a significant positive effect on the net profit of PT Pegadaian Persero Indonesia, as evidenced by a t-statistic probability value of 0.015 < 0.05, thus accepting the researcher's hypothesis H1. 2. The number of customers does not have a significant effect on the net profit of PT Pegadaian Persero Indonesia, as indicated by a t-statistic probability value of 0.305 > 0.05, leading to the rejection of the researcher's hypothesis H2. 3. Loans granted show a significant positive effect on the net profit of PT Pegadaian Persero Indonesia, with a t-statistic probability value of 0.040 < 0.05, thereby accepting the researcher's hypothesis H3. 4. Rental income, the number of customers, and loans granted simultaneously have a significant positive effect on the net profit of PT Pegadaian Persero Indonesia, as indicated by an F-statistic value of 30.26915 with a Prob(F-Statistic) value of 0.000013 < 0.05, thus accepting the researcher's hypothesis H4. In conclusion, rental income and loans granted can partially influence net profit, while the number of customers does not. However, when considered together, all three variables significantly impact net profit.
