Abstract

Covid-19 is an unprecedented infectious disease. The Covid-19 virus is a virus that is transmitted to humans and attacks the respiratory system. This is a serious world problem with the number of cases always increasing. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared it a pandemic. One of the cities that is unavoidable from Covid-19, namely Grobogan Regency, it was found that the data update on the Grobogan Regency Kominfo situation on October 23, 2020 reported that 22 people were being treated in health facilities, 20 people were self-isolating and 78 people died. The act of implementing the health protocol is the key in preventing the spread of Covid-19, but many people do not implement it. This happens because of ignorance or unwillingness of the community to implement health protocols. Therefore, it is necessary to know about public knowledge with the application of health protocols during a pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge about Covid- 19 and the application of public health protocols at RSUD Dr. R. Abstract

Menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea is pain during menstruation before or during menstruation. The incidence of dysmenorrhea in the world is very large. On average, more than 50% of women worldwide experience dysmenorrhea. The impact that occurs if dysmenorrhea is not treated can be a pathological condition (abnormality or disorder) that can or trigger an increase in mortality, including infertility. An easy treatment for dysmenorrhea is massage effleurage. The method of massage or massage on the abdomen with the effleurage technique is a form of skin stimulation that is used during the menstrual process to reduce pain effectively. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of effleurage massage on reducing menstrual pain. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling with a total of 30 respondents consisting of 15 respondents from the treatment group who were given effleurage massage, and 15 respondents who were the control group. The results of the study in the intervention group before the effleurage massage was done the average pain scale was 5.00 and after it was done 2.33. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a gel preparation with corn kernel extract as raw material, product profile information and the safety effects of using corn kernel extract gel preparation. The method used in this study with corn extract formulated into HPMC base with concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 20%. Then performed physical testing, the effect of the gel in rabbits and on the skin of human hands. This research produces a gel preparation with corn kernel extract as the raw material. The gel produced by increasing the concentration of HPMC can increase the viscosity, stickiness, and decrease the spreadability, but the increase in the concentration of HPMC does not affect the pH. The results of the effect test on the skin showed that corn extract gel could function as a skin protector from the sun, but the difference in HPMC concentration did not give a difference in the effect of protecting the skin from the sun. This study resulted in a conclusion in the form of a gel preparation with corn kernel extract as raw material, the product profile increased viscosity, gel adhesion, and also decreased dispersion, but the increase in HPMC concentration did not affect the pH of the preparation and the gel was safe as a skin protector from the sun.

Abstract

Nepenthes populations in nature are thought to be decreasing due to several factors such as forest fires, conversion of forest land or shrubs to residential areas, cultivation, plantations, agriculture or mining. The government has determined that Nepenthes is one of the priority plant species for protection because its presence in nature tends to be endangered. The existence of Nepenthes in their natural habitat has begun to be threatened due to several factors, including conversion into agricultural and mining lands, damage to natural habitats due to disasters or human actions, as well as over-exploitation. Based on these facts, Nepenthes plants are included in protected plants based on IUCN, WCMC, and Government Regulation N0. 7 of 1999 concerning Preservation of Plants and Animals. A study on the extinction of Nepenthes was carried out to find out the factors that influenced the extinction of this plant. The method used in this research is library search. Some previous research is used as a reference in this discussion in depth. The results show that there are several causes of the extinction of biodiversity for the pitcher plant, including habitat degradation, habitat fragmentation, exploitation, invasive species, and climate change. Real world programs and actions in the SGD's (Suistanable Development Goals) as an effort to protect the pitcher plant (Nepenthes sp.) from the threat of extinction of biodiversity is to carry out conservation efforts both in situ and ex situ.

Abstract

The sweet star fruit leaf plant (Averrhoa carambola L.) is a plant that has many benefits, one part of the plant that is often used is the leaves which contain alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins and tannins that can be made indo spray gel preparations. Spray gel or commonly called spray gel is a gel that has an aqueous phase of 10-90% of the weight of the spray preparation. This research aims to formulate a spray gel preparation of ethanol extract of sweet starfruit leaves (Averrhoa carambola L.) by testing the physical stability of the spray gel preparation. The formulation of spray gel preparations of sweet starfruit leaf extract (Averrhoa carambola L.) with concentrations of 0.1%, 1% and 1.5% was researched using laboratory experimental methods. Physical stability tests of spray gel preparations include organoleptic tests, pH tests, homogeneity tests, viscosity tests, spray pattern tests, dry time tests, cycling tests and centrifugation tests. The results of testing the physical stability of spray gel preparations for each formula fall within the range of requirements for spray gel preparations. To test the physical stability of the spray gel preparation after the cycling test, the viscosity test and pH test for each formula showed a decrease in each formula, while the organoleptic test did not show a significant change in each formula after the cycling test. The centrifugation test results for each formula showed that it was stable, indicated by the absence of syneresis or phase separation. Based on research, it was found that at the highest concentration the spray gel preparation of ethanol extract of sweet star fruit leaves (Averrhoa crambola L.) had a good physical stability test.
