Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe the condition of community education level in Ward VI, Nalu Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency. 2) describe the condition factors of community education level in Ward VI, Nalu Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, the subject of research is the community in Environment VI Nalu Village consisting of local government represented by the chairman of environment VI, and 14 residents of Environment VI as key informants. Data collection method using observation method, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) the condition of community education in Environment VI Nalu Village, Baolan District, Tolitoli Regency is still low, this is evidenced by the number of people who do not get education and there are also people who only take elementary education (SD). 2) Factors that cause low levels of public education in Environment VI are individual motivation factors, economic factors, social factors, and accessibility factors.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the form of adaptation of history learning process conducted by students during the Covid-19 pandemic and the obstacles faced during the learning process. This type of research is quantitative. Research data sources are informants, places/events, and documents. Questionnaire data collection techniques. The data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis. Drawing conclusions using reason analysis derived from the study of the theory and the results of the discussion. This research produces data that in the midst of historical learning conditions in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak Online or online learning allows students and teachers not to face-to-face but can take advantage of special online applications for learning, most choose to use home learning applications by 3.63%%. The obstacles faced when doing online learning are the lack of concentration of students when receiving materials because the situation is less conducive by 70.20%, no companion during learning by 64.8%, and limited digital media at home to support the online learning process by 0.25%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out students' perception of online lectures, to find out the forms of application used in online lectures and to find out the supporting factors and inhibitory factors in online lectures. This research was conducted by descriptive survey research method, the sample in this study was a student of Citizenship Education semester 4 of the Department of Social Sciences Education FKIP Tadulako University. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The findings in this study are a common place for lectures from 60 students as many as 53 or 88.3% who answered at home, as many as 2 students or 3.3% who answered in the garden and as many as 5 students or 8.3% who answered at home family or neighbors who are good internet network. Students use electronic devices to attend online lectures are gadgets and laptops. Applications that are liked in online lectures, as many as 56 students or 91.8% of students choose zoom application, as many as 4 students or 6.5% of students choose LMS application and as many as 1 student or 1.6% of students choose whatsapp application. When asked to students how far the material submitted through online lectures you can understand by students as many as 3 students answered very understandable, as many as 25 students answered understood, as many as 30 students answered sometimes understood and as many as 3 students served not understood. Students by extension or 100% choose face-to-face lectures compared to online lectures.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic affects psychological conditions and changes in human behavior that are broader in the longer term. It also has an impact on the education system in Indonesia. Tadulako University implements Work From Home policy for lecturers/home study for students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in the PKn Education Study Program of Tadulako University. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach with informant consisting of lecturers and students in PKn Education. Based on the results of research, it can be known that the implementation of learning carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic in PKn Education uses an online model with applications in the form of: LMS, zoom, whatsapp, telegram, google classroom. The implementation of online learning went smoothly, although it was felt less than ideal. Student learning outcomes vary from unsatisfactory, sufficient to good. The obstacles faced by students and lecturers in online learning include: the availability of internet quota, unstable networks, and supporting tools such as gadgets and laptops. Online learning is considered effective if the internet network system is maintained or in the area where students live, but a more varied model is needed to remain attractive if used in the long term.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries affected by Covid-19. The development of Covid-19 has increased in recent months. This research is descriptive quantitative. The population in the study was 95 students of the Geography Study Program of Tadulako University. The number of populations equals the number of samples. Primary data and secondary data were used in this study. Data processing by grouping the results of questionnaires, and calculating percentages. The data was collected by survey method and analyzed using Rank Spearman non-parametric statistic method. The findings of the study are to know the perception of geography education study program students towards the online learning system so that it can be used to overcome learning problems during the Covid-19 pandemic. Perception of the course is limited to two courses. The results showed that students' perception of geography education study program towards online learning system during the Covid-19 pandemic for Geography Learning and Teaching Strategies courses is low while geography learning evaluation courses are moderate. Students' skills using the internet in geography students for Geography Learning and Teaching Strategies courses and Geography Learning Evaluation are at a moderate level. The implementation of online learning system must be supported by all students and all parties. Online learning system is expected to be one of the solutions in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, so as to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an online learning model or Online Learning Model (DLM), as an impelementation to improve the effectiveness of environmental education lectures. Dlm development uses Online Interactive Learning Model (DILM) techniques by utilizing internet-based social media and smartphones as media used in learning. The subject of this research is a student of the Undergraduate program in the education department of IPS Tadulako University which PLH. This study uses mixed approaches or mix methods. Data is collected using questionnaires, questionnaires, and tests. The results of this study showed: 1) Students able to increase the absorption of lecture materials can reach more than 81% compared to using only face-to-face learning models; 2) Can provide a new experience that is more challenging for college students with an online learning model than conventional learning models 3) Environmental education lecturers using online learning models can change the atmosphere of student learning more actively, innovatively, creatively, effectively, and not boring.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Tadulako University conducted a distance learning system. Familiar and widely used applications in remote learning using media or zoom meeting apps. The purpose of this research was to find out the use of Zoom Meeting application against students of ips education department of FKIP Tadulako University, during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative methods and uses grounded theory methods. The data collection technique was conducted with interviews on 32 students of the Faculty of Education Department of Tadulako University. The results of this study, show that the utilization of Zoom Meeting application is quite effective for students of tadulako university geography education program. However, the Zoom Meeting application is better because in the Zoom Meeting application communication between individuals is done orally compared to the utilization of learning that conducts communication activities in writing according to educational communication theory.

Abstract

The New Habit Adaptation Period (AKB) began after the Covid-19 virus outbreak in Indonesia. The implementation of health protocols applies in all activities including education such as online learning enforcement, keeping distance, avoiding crowds, and wearing Personal Protective Equipment. This is a challenge for citizenship education teachers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research aims to analyze the challenges facing Citizenship Education teachers and their solutions. Research methods use qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview, documentation, and literacy. The results of this study show that the most difficult challenge for Citizenship Education teachers in this new habit adaptation period is online learning, so training is needed for teachers in technology to support learning.
