Al-Amwal: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Perbankan Syariah is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Islamic Banking Syariah Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The journal publishes papers in the accounting and finance field that contribute significantly to the development of the economic and sharia banking profession in Indonesia. Al-Amwal is published twice a year, the first edition was published in July and the second edition was published in December.

Abstract

As an institution based on sharia principles (Islamic banks) certainly has differented characteristics from other companies in its performance orientation. Islamic banking is required to work in accordance with sharia business principles and ethics, one of which is through the implementation of governance (Islamic Corporate Governance/ICG) and the utilization of capital capital (Intellectual Capital/IC) in order to achieve the objectives of establishing Islamic banks in accordance with Islamic maqashid (measured through Maqashid Syariah Index/MSI). The objectives are (1) find out and analyze the effect of Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG) disclosures to maqashid syariah index (MSI) of Indonesian Islamic banking; and (2) knowing and analyzing the influence of Intellectual Capital (IC) to maqashid syariah index (MSI) of Indonesian Islamic banking. The method used content analysis approach for ICG, the iB-VAIC method for IC and Sekaran method on MSI calculations. The sample of Islamic banks was used 11 Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) from a population of 13 BUS in the period 2013-2017. The sampling method was used purposive sampling. The results showed that both ICG and iB-VAIC had positive and significant effects on MSI. This means that the disclosure of ICG items and IC management will have an impacted on increasing MSI value of Islamic banks. Keywords : Islamic Corporate Governance, Intellectual Capital, Maqashid Syariah Index

Abstract

Abstract To create customer loyalty, banks need to implement a relational marketing strategy. In addition to relationship marketing, the bank also needs to pay attention to the brand image that is considered, because the brand image is also the key to maintaining and increasing customer loyalty. This study aims to examine the effect of the variables of trust, commitment, and empathy which are dimensions of relationship marketing on customer loyalty with the brand image as a moderating variable. The research subjects used in this study were Generation Z customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) which opened 105 respondents. This research uses a quantitative analysis method with the moderator regression analysis (MRA) method. The partial test results show that the trust and commitment variables significantly affect customer loyalty, while the empathy variable has no significant effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, the test results also show that brand image is not able to moderate the effect of trust, commitment, and empathy variables on customer loyalty.Keywords: Relationship Marketing, Customer Loyalty, Brand Image.

Abstract

Pada saat ini pasar modern menjadi tuntutan dan konsekuensi dari gaya hidup modern yang berkembang di masyarakat kita. Tidak hanya di kota-kota besar tetapi sudah merambah sampai ke kota-kota kecil di Indonesia. Untuk menjumpai minimarket atau supermarket sudah sangat mudah di sekitar tempat tinggal kita. Tempat-tempat tersebut menyediakan fasilitas tempat belanja yang nyaman dengan harga yang tidak kalah menariknya. Berdirinya berbagai pusat perbelanjaan modern di Kuningan akhir-akhir ini adalah cermin dari perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat yang dulunya hanya berbelanja di pasar tradisional, sekarang mulai beralih berbelanja di pasar modern. Semakin banyaknya pasar modern yang menawarkan produk dan jasa, maka konsumen beranggapan akan memiliki semakin banyak pilihan yang tentu saja harus disesuaikan dengan tingkat daya beli (purchasing power) masing-masing.Dalam ilmu ekonomi mainstream, konsep pasar adalah setiap struktur yang memungkinkan pembeli dan penjual untuk menukar jenis barang, jasa dan informasi. Pertukaran barang atau jasa untuk uang adalah transaksi. Ada dua pelaku di pasar yaitu pembeli dan penjual. Pasar memfasilitasi perdagangan dan memungkinkan distribusi dan alokasi sumber daya dalam masyarakat. Keberadaan Pasar Tradisional mempunyai ciri khas yang tidak dimiliki oleh pasar modern salah satunya adalah di pasar tradisional para penjual dan pembeli biasa melakukan tawar-menawar yang tidak biasa di lakukan di dalam pasar modern.Kata Kunci : Pasar tradisional, Pasar Modern, Konsumen.

Abstract

One of the determinants of the Human Development Index (HDI) is the education sector. The condition of education in Indonesia, including in coastal areas such as Cirebon Regency, still finds problems related to the dropout rate. As with the Ministry of Education and Culture data, the Rough Participation Rate from SD to Higher Education in Cirebon Regency is still at number 21 out of 27 cities/regencies in West Java. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors can reduce the dropout rate. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Resource persons in this study were 22 respondents familiar with the conditions of education in the Cirebon Regency, including elements of the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency, the Education Office, Educators, education, and community leaders who were concerned about education problems. The method used is the Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP). With this analysis, the researcher tries to arrange policy priorities based on each factor's weight so that a priority scale is obtained to reduce the dropout rate in Cirebon Regency. The results showed that the priority order based on the hierarchy is that the infrastructure factor is the priority with a weight of 24.89%. There are aspects of school conditions 22.38% and economic conditions 19.92%. Keywords: Infrastructure, Schools, Economics, and Dropouts

Abstract

AbstrakMadrasah santripreneur merupakan model pengembangan pemberdayaan kewirausahaan santri yang memadukan empat unsur utama pesantren yaitu: kyai, santri, kurikulum, infrastruktur. Keempat unsur yang ada di pondok pesantren Darussalam memiliki potensi yang cukup besar. Potensi ini dapat dioptimalkan ketika keempat unsur saling bersinergi. Dukungan penuh dari kyai kepada santri untuk memanfaatkan infrastruktur (potensi ekonomi) dengan jaringan mitra pesantren dapat dikemas melalui kurikulum pesantren pada madrasah diniyyah.Kata Kunci: Madrasah santripreneur, Kewirausahaan. AbstractMadrasah santripreneur is a development the empowerment model of entrepreneurial students that combines four main elements,: kyai (teachers), students, curriculum, infrastructure. The fourth element in Darussalam boarding school has considerable potential. This potential can be optimized when the four elements of mutual are being synergy. Abstract

This research was aimed to know the influence of Islamic business ethics and the service quality towards customers' satisfication and loyalty, and also to know the influence of satisfication towards customers' loyalty in sharia hotel in Bogor. This research was done in two sharia hotels in Bogor which were Sahira Butik Hotel and Srigunting Inn Hotel. The population of this research was all customers in Sahira Butik Hotel and Srigunting Inn Hotel. The sample of this research was 100 respondents. The method used in this research was quantitative method. For the data analysis, the researcher used Part Least Square (PLS) method by using Samrt PLS 3.0 software. The findings of this research showed that Islamic business ethics had given a significance influence and had positive responses towards customers' satisfication and loyalty. The service quality had given a significance influence and had positive responses towards customers' satisfication and loyalty. The customers' satisfication had given a significance influence and had positive responses towards customers'  loyalty.

Abstract

AbstrakKehadiran dan praktik bank syari’ah di Indonesia hampir tiga dekade, tetapi perkembangan bisnisnya tidak sebanding dengan waktu yang telah dilaluinya. Pada akhir tahun 2016, perkembangan bank syariah mencapai 19,67 persen, dengan pangsa pasar 5,12 persen. Pencapaian ini jelas tidak seimbang dengan potensi negara ini. Beberapa penyebabnya adalah produk dan jasa syariah yang diterima oleh nasabah, jarak ke lokasi bank terdekat, biaya yang tinggi untuk transaksi dengan volume kecil, informasi yang terbatas, tingkat pengetahuan syariah yang rendah, pendapatan yang rendah, dan antrian yang panjang ketika bertransaksi secara langsung. Ini adalah bukti dari rendahnya tingkat literasi dan inklusi keuangan syariah, masing-masing 8,11 persen dan 11,06 persen. Penting untuk mengoptimalkan inovasi untuk menyelesaikan kesenjangan layanan dengan menempatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi melalui digitalisasi layanan sehingga hubungan antar bank dengan masyarakat menjadi lebih dekat, hemat, efisien, cepat, dan murah. Kata Kunci: Inklusi Keuangan, Perbankan Syariah, Digital Banking     AbstractThe presence and practice of sharia banks in Indonesia has been almost three decades, but the development of its business is still not comparable with the time that has been passed. By the end of 2016, the growth of sharia banking has reached 19.67 percent, with the market share of sharia banking at 5.12 percent. This achievement is clearly not comparable with the potential of this nation. Some of the causes are Sharia products and services are perceived by the people, the distance to the nearest bank office location, the high cost for small volume transactions, limited information, low level of sharia knowledge, the low-income, plus the long queue when the transaction is direct. This is evident from the low level of literacy and inclusion of Islamic finance, each of only 8.11 percent and 11.06 percent. It is necessary to optimize innovation to solve the service gap by placing information and communication technology through service digitization so that the inter-bank relationship with the community becomes closer, thrifty, efficient, quick and cheap. Keywords: Financial Inclusion, Sharia Banking, Digital Banking

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence purchasing decisions in the Sharia market, both partially and simultaneously. Partially, the study examines the influence of price, product variety, taste, and location on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, research looks at the combined effects of these factors. The method used is quantitative with an associative research model, as well as a purposive sampling technique to select respondents according to Sharia market criteria. The research results show that price (p = 0,011), product variety (p = 0,043), and location (p = 0,018) have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while taste (p = 0.562) has no significant effect. Overall, all these factors significantly influence purchasing decisions (p = 0,000). Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan pesat yang terjadi dalam usaha bisnis perbankan berbasis syari’ah mengakibatkan meningkatnya daya saing lembaga perbankan syari’ah. Berdasarkan data rekapitulasi nilai Key Performance Individual pada triwulan III dan triwulan IV tahun 2015 mengartikan bahwa kinerja karyawan bank BJB syariah cabang Cirebon mengalami penurunan dari triwulan III ke triwulan IV.  Ini menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan SDM karyawan bank BJB syari’ah cabang Cirebon perlu mendapatkan perhatian agar tujuan dari bank BJB syari’ah untuk menjadi 5 bank umum syari’ah terbesar, sehat dan berkinerja baik di Indonesia bisa dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada bank BJB syari’ah cabang Cirebon. Dimana bank BJB syari’ah cabang Cirebon ini sedang berusaha mengelola SDM agar mampu mencapai tujuan perusahaan sesuai visi dan misi yang ditetapkan.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 21, metode pengambilan sampel adalah nonprobability sampling dengan teknik sampling jenuh, dimana semua anggota populasi sebanyak 38 karyawan bank BJB syari’ah cabang Cirebon dijadikan sebagai sampel. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik pengujian data  yang  digunakan  adalah uji Instrumen validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, koefisien determinasi, uji parsial t dan uji simultan F.Berdasarkan  hasil  analisis  dapat diketahui bahwa kompetensi dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif  dan  signifikan  terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan fhitung (10,714) > ftabel (3,27) dengan tingkat signifikan di bawah 0,05. Selain itu, kompetensi dan lingkunga kerja secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana kompetensi didapat thitung (2,283) > (1,688) dengan tingkat signifikan 0,029 dan untuk lingkungan kerja diperoleh thitung (2,793) > (1,688) dengan tingkat signifikan 0.008. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Lingkungan Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

AbstractBased on Sharia Commercial Bank Statistics Data, the value of profitability is measured by Return On Assets that have decreased from 2013-2017. This happens because the NPF ratio has increased from year to year (if there is much problematic financing, the cost of providing a loss will be high, which causes the BOPO ratio to increase). So that Sharia Commercial Banks must reduce the FDR ratio, with the reduction in the distribution of funds to customers making the Sharia Commercial Banks experience a reduction in income to be received. That way can cause the level of profitability to be obtained decreases. This study aims to determine the effect of the ratio of FDR, NPF, BOPO to the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with panel data regression analysis methods and hypothesis testing using (F test, t-test, R2), and data processing using Eviews 9. The test results obtained together with variables FDR, NPF, BOPO significantly influence towards ROA. Partially, FDR has no significant negative effect on ROA. NPF variable is not a significant positive effect on ROA. BOPO variable has a negative and significant effect on ROA. R2 test of 82.73% while the remaining 17.27% is influenced by other factors outside the study. BOPO variable has a negative and significant effect on ROA. Hal tersebut terjadi karena rasio NPF mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun (apabila banyak nya pembiayaan bermasalah maka biaya pencadangan atas kerugian akan tinggi yang mengakibatkan rasio BOPO meningkat). Sehingga Bank Umum Syariah harus mengurangi rasio FDR, dengan berkurangnya penyaluran dana kepada nasabah membuat Bank Umum Syariah mengalami pengurangan atas pendapatan yang akan diterima. Dengan begitu dapat menyebabkan tingkat profitabilitas yang akan di dapat menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio FDR, NPF, BOPO terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi data panel dan uji hipotesis menggunakan (uji F, uji t, R2), serta pengolahan data nya menggunakan aplikasi Eviews9. Hasil pengujian di peroleh secara bersama-sama variabel FDR, NPF, BOPO berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap ROA. Secara parsial, FDR berpengaruh negative tidak signifikan terhadap ROA. Variabel NPF berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap ROA.Variabel BOPO berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap ROA. Uji R2 sebesar 82,73% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 17,27% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar penelitian.Kata Kunci: FDR, NPF, BOPO, dan ROA
