Abstract

This research discusses the practice of religious moderation at SMPN 2 Ampek Nagari, a secondary school with Muslim students as the majority and non-Muslim students as the minority. The aim of the research is to describe social interactions between Muslim and non-Muslim students, analyze the role of teachers in instilling the value of religious moderation, and identify challenges that arise in the process. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The research results show that social interactions between Muslim and non-Muslim students are harmonious, characterized by cooperation in academic and non-academic activities without discrimination. Teachers play an important role as facilitators, role models and mediators in instilling tolerant attitudes through religious learning, citizenship education and other school activities. However, challenges were also found in the form of negative stereotypes brought from the family environment, as well as feelings of awkwardness in dealing with differences in religious practices. These findings confirm that schools function as laboratories for religious moderation, but their success requires support from parents and the community. Thus, the experience of SMPN 2 Ampek Nagari can become a model for implementing inclusive religious moderation for other secondary schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study reviews the evaluation of the accuracy of economic terms found in accounting reports based on Indonesian language rules. Financial reports play a crucial role as a means of conveying company financial information to various interested parties. Therefore, the choice of language that is clear, precise, and in accordance with the rules greatly affects the quality and readability of these reports. The method used in this study is qualitative with a literature review approach. Data sources were obtained from various relevant primary and secondary sources, including indexed scientific articles, research reports, and relevant textbooks. The findings show that language errors, such as the use of incorrect terms or inaccurate translations, can reduce the comprehensibility, credibility, and accuracy of financial reports. Conversely, the use of consistent, standard, and communicative language can increase transparency and trust among interested parties. Therefore, linguistic accuracy is an important element in maintaining the quality of accounting reports, as well as demonstrating the need for standardization of terms and ongoing training for financial report preparers.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the difficulties faced by students in learning science subjects in elementary school and to find solutions through experimental learning methods. Many students find it difficult to understand science concepts, which are often abstract and difficult to relate to everyday life. To overcome this, experimental learning is carried out by providing direct experience through experiments, so that students can more easily understand and feel the concepts being learned. The results of the study show that the experimental method can increase student interest and engagement as well as their learning outcomes. However, the success of this method is also influenced by the readiness of teachers and the availability of adequate practical tools. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an experimental model that suits the needs and characteristics of students so that the learning process becomes more effective and enjoyable. This research is expected to serve as a reference in improving the quality of science learning in elementary schools so that students not only memorize but truly understand and are skilled in science.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties experienced by fifth-grade students of SDN 007 Pangkalan Baru in mathematics, specifically in multiplication and division operations. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive phenomenological method. The research subjects consisted of the classroom teacher and fifth-grade students of SDN 007 Pangkalan Baru. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with verification. The results showed that students encountered learning difficulties in three main aspects: (1) difficulty in understanding concepts, (2) difficulty in understanding principles, and (3) difficulty in computational skills. The factors causing these difficulties were both internal and external. Internal factors included low learning motivation, lack of self-confidence, and weak memory of calculation procedures, while external factors included conventional teaching methods and insufficient family learning support. Based on the findings, it is suggested that teachers implement contextual learning strategies, utilize concrete media, and provide gradual practice to help students better understand the concepts of multiplication and division.
