Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare student learning activities between the active learning strategy Everyone is a Teacher Here, and True or False type. This type of research is "Quasi Experiment Research" with a population of all students of SMAN Mapat Tunggul Selatan Academic Year 2025/2026. Purposive sampling was used, so that Class X phase E1 was selected as experimental class 1 and Class X phase E2 as experimental class 2. Data collection techniques were observation of learning activities, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique was quantitative descriptive and t-test. Quantitative data analysis showed that the average learning activity of students in experimental class I was 82% (very active), while in experimental class II was 75% (active). The results of the t-test at a significance level of 0.05 obtained t count 0.446 while t table 1.67. Thus, there is no difference between the learning activities of students who use the active learning strategy type Everyone is a Teacher Here and the True or False type in the class of X.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an environmentally-based disease whose spread is influenced by climate and population factors. The use of remote sensing and climate analysis can support the identification of dengue risk areas spatially. This study aims to describe the level of dengue risk in Bantul Regency using the Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis approach through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The analysis was carried out by integrating remote sensing data, climate analysis, and AHP. The parameters used include population density, rainfall, air temperature, air humidity, and the vegetation index (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index/NDVI). Data processing was carried out using Google Earth Engine (GEE), then analyzed using the Weighted Overlay method in GIS. The AHP weighting results show that population density has the largest influence with a weight of 0.416, followed by rainfall (0.262), air temperature (0.161), air humidity (0.099), and NDVI (0.062). A Consistency Ratio (CR) value of 0.015 indicates that the pairwise comparison matrix has a good level of consistency. The spatial analysis results classify the level of dengue fever risk into five classes: very low, low, medium, high, and very high. The high to very high-risk zone is located in the north-central region of Bantul Regency, which is filled with high population density and climatic conditions that support vector development. The results show that the integration of remote sensing, climate analysis, and GIS-based AHP is effective in identifying priority areas for dengue control spatially.

Abstract

The 2014 eruption of Mount Kelud represents one of the most massive volcanic events in modern Indonesian history, causing severe bio-physical landscape destruction and subsequent reconstruction. This study aims to analyze the integration of bio-physical environmental changes with the socio-ecological dynamics of the communities surrounding Mount Kelud post-eruption, through the framework of Social-Ecological Systems (SES). The research examines the reciprocal interactions between bio-physical disturbances and community adaptive capacity, regime shifts in affected areas, and the effectiveness of community-based risk governance. A multidisciplinary approach was employed, integrating disaster geomorphology data with environmental sociology perspectives. Data were collected through direct field observations, field notes, and in-depth interviews with staff from the Kelud Volcanology Observatory and local community leaders. Findings indicate that the 2014 eruption surpassed critical bio-physical thresholds, leading to the destruction of previous geoheritage assets (such as the 2007 lava dome) and the formation of a new dynamic volcanic crater lake. In the long-term socio-ecological timeline, these disturbances triggered productive regime shifts. Local communities utilized Local Ecological Knowledge (LEK) to interpret pre-disaster natural cues, allow ecosystem recovery, and diversify livelihoods into pineapple cultivation and sand mining. Sociological resilience was further reinforced by the hybridization of LEK with digital Early Warning Systems (EWS) and strengthened local institutions through structured communal cooperation at neighborhood levels (RT/RW). The study concludes that post-eruption landscape management has successfully progressed toward a collaborative polycentric governance model, ensuring environmental resilience and sustainability for future generations.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze soil nutrient content as an indicator of soil fertility in agricultural land. The research focused on evaluating soil nutrient parameters, including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), organic carbon (C-organic), organic matter, and soil pH. The findings are expected to provide an overview of the soil condition in Taniwel Village and serve as a basis for more effective and sustainable agricultural land management in the area. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method with an experimental approach through direct laboratory analysis of soil samples. Data were collected by analyzing soil nutrient content, organic carbon, organic matter, and soil pH. Laboratory analyses were carried out using the electrometric method for pH (H₂O and 1N KCl), the Walkley and Black method for organic carbon and organic matter, the Kjeldahl method for total nitrogen, the Bray-1 method for available phosphorus, and the NH₄OAc extraction method at pH 7 for available potassium. The laboratory analysis revealed that the soil contained 0.34% total nitrogen, 5.99 ppm available phosphorus, 0.30 cmol (+)/kg available potassium, 3.51% organic carbon, 6.08% organic matter, a soil pH (H₂O) of 5.5, and a soil pH (1N KCl) of 5.2. These findings indicate that the agricultural soils in Taniwel Village possess fertility characteristics that are generally favorable for plant growth.
