Abstract

Road users are an important part of the government's attention. Road users have the right to the availability of supporting facilities in the form of sidewalks, crossing places and other facilities.Road users must get the main attention when crossing the road on the crossing, and in the absence of the facilities referred to earlier, the user the road has the right to cross at the place chosen by paying attention to their safety. The analysis is carried out by adding up the volume of pedestrians and adding up the traffic volume to choose the appropriate means and meet the requirements at the location. The measuring steps used to select the means of crossing are the volume of pedestrians and traffic, vehicle speed, headway time, road user speed, road capacity, and degree of saturation. The survey runs in three days, namely working days, namely Mondays and Thursdays, and holidays, namely Saturdays. From the data analysis in the field, it can be concluded why the research location requires a pelican cross crossing facility, because all measurements fulfill the requirements to build the crossing to support comfort, safety, and smooth road flow at the site.

Abstract

On every slope, there is always the possibility of landslides. One of the hypotheses tested was the effect of water flow and scour on slope stability at the investigated location. A brief inspection was carried out to determine the condition and influence of the river, in addition to soil investigations, for proper follow-up arrangement. At landslide sites, water flow has an effect in raising the groundwater level so as to reduce the soil shear strength. Its causes the slope safety factor to drop below the safe rate. The scouring disrupts the stability of the slope but does not reduce the slope safety factor significantly. The parametric studies are chosen for their strong relation between measured displacement within the slope, to verify the measurements and the numerical analysis (Finite Element Method) results. The parametric study simulation shows that time-dependent numerical model could be useful as forecasting tool, including various possible scour and non-scour condition.

Abstract

The study of traffic engineering management is very different, causing the condition to exist. Traffic Engineering Management (MRLL) can make macroscopic in the pre-feasibility study stage, with concern to guide its macro transportation system, may also include its own details (microscopic). Traffic impact control policies are also included, be it road management efforts, priority management and demand management. As the main project, the project is related to the public road which will giving influence is the interference of over-the-counter so the contractor or the owner of the work must make a real contribution in the distribution of transactions through all that happens. This study was designed using literature and field research conducted and analyzed measurably. In this research, the introduction of the study area is a very important part of preparation in order to better understand the characteristics of the location. The expected results in this study are to analyze the impact that occurs in each condition of the work carried out and provide recommendations for handling the impacts obtained in each of these conditions.

Abstract

Construction projects are inseparable from their unique management. The unique management of construction projects makes it difficult to maintain their quality. One of the tools to measure quality in project management is the Pareto chart. Pareto chart is a statistical technique that is usually used for decision making based on the frequency of events compared to the causes of events. This research was conducted to analyze the causes of repair work on project X by using Pareto chart. The conceptual framework used in this study is based on two approaches, namely literature and field observations. The main literature for analysis is the Pareto chart then field data collection on each component first which is then categorized based on the type of work. After the data is categorized, a Pareto chart will be made from the data. The processing results obtained two dominant types of errors in the casting work, namely cracks and unevenness of the casting results. Cracks and unevenness of the casting results can be overcome by the chipping method then followed by grouting if necessary. The chipping method is used to repair porous concrete or flatten the casting if it swells, and the grouting method to fill cracks and chipping results with a mixture of cement and water until the surface becomes flat and the casting work results are better.

Abstract

Waste material affects project implementation. In addition, it also affects the productivity of the project as well as costs and time. Based on this, good management is needed in handling and minimizing the occurrence of material waste. Lean Construction is one approach that can be used to handle and minimize this occurrence. This study aims to determine the most dominant waste material indicators that cause material waste, determine the estimated costs resulting from material waste and total cost estimates until the observed work is completed, determine the most dominant type of material that causes material waste and determine the percentage of Lean Construction implementation. The case study of this research was conducted on the Karangsambung Indonesia Geodiversity Area Facility Development Project Package 2. The Bayes theorem method was used to determine the most dominant indicator of material waste that causes material waste to occur. Pareto diagrams are used to determine the most dominant type of material that causes material waste. The data from this study were obtained by conducting interviews, observations and filling out the waste material questionnaire and the Lean Construction application questionnaire. The conclusion of this study is that the most dominant indicators that cause material waste are Defect and Waiting with a confidence value of 100% each. The estimated cost obtained during the 2-week observation is Rp. 10,440,859.91 and the estimated cost until the work is completed is Rp. 26,102,149,77. The most dominant type of material that causes material waste is deformed reinforcement Ø22 (Rp. 4,436,673.32), deformed reinforcement Ø 19 (Rp. 2,051,606 ,29) and threaded reinforcement Ø 16 (Rp. 1,387,546,88). The percentage of Lean Construction implementation obtained is 98.94%.

Abstract

Technology development nowadays has brought positive impact to society including transportation aspect which has now been popularly known as online transportation. One of public online transportation massively utilize by Capital Special Region (DKI) Jakarta is special hired transportation known as online taxi, with providers are GOJEK, GRAB, and MAXIM. The increasing of online taxi driver enforce local government to conduct judicial review against applied   tariff since on Indonesia Ministerial Regulations (PM) No 118, 2018 regarding establishment of Special hired transportation the issue is not addressed yet. This research aims to obtain representative idea of applied tariff and  followed by drivers and users perception upon the issue in accordance to Mann Whitney test also BOK and Revenue analysis. Analysis was obtained that Maxim had applied the rate, whereas Gojek and Grab at any given time tariff applied beyond the upper limit. According to Mann Whitney test result, average lower tariff limit expected by the drivers is IDR3789.47/km and upper tariff limit is IDR6291.23/km, In the other hand users expecting lower tariff limit at IDR3494.41/km, and upper tariff limit at IDR5990.91/km. According to BOK the tariff obtained is at IDR2562/km. From that analysis referring to Jakarta 2022 Minimum Provincial Payment Rate to balanced income with expenditure, driver tariff expected to be set at IDR4912/km. In conclusion to tariff adjustment regulation is currently not necessary since perception and objectivities at ground is still on already maintained upper and lower limit which still covered by SK.3244/AJ.801/DJPD/2017 about upper tariff limit and lower tariff limit of Special hired transportation.

Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia through Presidential Regulation Number 100 of 2014 and Presidential Regulation Number 117 of 2015 aims the construction of the 2770 km Trans Sumatra Toll Road from Bakauheni to Banda Aceh to be fully constructed by 2024. There are two key stages in the project phase, i.e planning and construction stages. The planning stage is carried out using the Building Information Model (BIM), while the construction phase integrates BIM with 3D-Machine-Control. This study is conducted in Trans Sumatera Pekanbaru - Bangkinangs Toll Road with 40 kilometers long as a study case. The data acquisition methodology is conducted using qualitative and quantitative methods throughout the fields experiments. This study conducted the examination of the LiDAR UAV digital surveys accuracy, the BIM implementation on Level of Development (LOD) 200, 300, and 400, verification of the usage of Motor Grader with 3D-Machine-Control efficiency in elevation cutting works, and the application of Vibro Compactor with 3D-Machine-Control for improving the accuracy of soil compaction on the subgrade and base course. The results showed that the topographic data from UAV LiDAR are accurate within LE90 accuracy with 0.176 cm. The optimalization of 3D-Machine-Control could carry out the earthworks as similar as design also can be used as quality and quantity control. The time efficiency which obtained from implementing Motor Grader with 3D-Machine-Control for elevation cutting application is 47 percent.

Abstract

Construction industry activities are increasing. Construction industry players need to be prepared to face the possibility of changes of design planed that are not in accordance with field conditions. The purpose of this research is to identify, analyze the causes and impacts of Contract Change Orders (CCO) at the pre-construction, construction implementation, and post-construction stages with case study is Proyek Simpang Susun Balaraja Timur at Tol Jakarta – Merak, Kabupaten Tangerang. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative methods by conducting Earned Value Analysis and Fishbone Analysis to identify the causal factors and impacts of CCO so that efforts can be made to mitigate the performance of the construction contract from the aspect of quality, cost, and time. The results of the analysis show 3 factors causing CCO namely consultant factors, such as lack of planning preparation and non-compliance with field conditions, project owner factors, and contractor factors. The results of Earned Value Analysis with Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations can be used to identify the need for additional contract value and additional execution time. On initial contract identification: Cost Performance Index (CPI) is 0.77 (insufficient costs with cost overrun – Rp.  52.502,111,631.83) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) 1.21, means that Addendum 1 needs to be done with the results: CPI is 1.17 (the costs used are sufficient from the available fees), EAC is Rp. 189,848,751,106.02 with changes in the contract value is Rp. 222,017,999,900.65, SPI is 1.21 from the initial contract value Rp. 174,437,684,167.96

Abstract

Salah satu daerah di kabupaten Banyumas setiap tahunnya ada yang mengalami permasalahan genangan dan banjir saat musim penghujan. Akibatnya genangan menyebabkan rusaknya jalan, terganggunya lalu lintas dan aktivitas masyarakat serta menyebabkan kerugian ekonomi bagi masyarakat di daerah genangan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dimana penelitian lebih mengarah pada pengungkapan suatu masalah atau keadaan sebenarnya dan mengungkapkan fakta-fakta yang ada. Pemilihan metode simulasi dengan menggunakan software SWMM 5.1. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi dengan software SWMM 5.1 dapat diketahui kapasitas air saluran drainase eksisting yaitu dengan Kala Ulang 10 Tahun terdiri dari 170 saluran, terdapat 85 saluran yang meluap dan 85 saluran tidak meluap, maka termasuk kategori kurang baik. Untuk menangani saluran yang meluap tersebut perlu dilakukan desain ulang untuk menambah kapasitas saluran. Dimensi saluran yang memadai adalah jika kapasitas air yang didapat kurang dari 1% sehingga saluran tidak meluap.

Abstract

One method of handling soil that can be done to speed up the consolidation process is to add a Pre-Loading embankment on top of the plan embankment. In addition, this handling is also carried out to achieve a reduction by the design load, so that the settlement of embankment after the construction period still meets the required criteria and standards. This study was conducted to obtain a comparison of the prediction of embankment settlement with the empirical method using CPT data and the prediction of settlement using the Asaoka Method. In addition, the results of the consolidation coefficient will also be compared which can be used to determine the right time for Pre-Loading excavation during the construction period. The data used are CPT test data in the field as well as laboratory test data and measurement data for the settlement plate settlement closest to the position of the CPT test. From the analysis carried out, it is obtained that the prediction of decline using the Asaoka method is smaller than the prediction of decline using the empirical method using CPT data. In addition, from the analysis, it was found that at locations HB-04 and SP 70, as well as HB-07 and SP 91, showed laboratory consolidation coefficient values (cv-Lab.) which were close to the consolidation coefficients of the Asaoka Method (cv-Asa.), while in HB -05 and SP 79 and HB-06 and SP 85 show a large difference in values. The average comparison of the cv-Lab. consolidation coefficients and CV-Asa. is 58.5%.
