Al-Mabsut : Jurnal Studi Islam dan Sosial is a journal managed by IAI Ngawi. In addition, the Al-Mabsut journal has two printed and online versions (ISSN:2089-3426 - E-ISSN: 2502-213X). Al-Mabsut is a journal that contains the study of Islamic and Social sciences. Studies that concentrate on the Islamic sciences (Aqidah, Sufism, Tafsir, Hadith, Usul Fiqh, Fiqh and so on) and also contain studies of politics, economics, law, education, history, culture, health, science and technology associated with Islam both in its normative dimensions (as doctrines and teachings) as well as in its historical dimensions (Muslim culture, Muslim communities, Islamic institutions and so on. Currently, Al-Mabsut journal gets SINTA 5 Accreditation based on Certificate Number 85/M/KPT/2020. All manuscripts submitted to the editorial board will be reviewed by the reviewer and the selection of manuscripts is based on considerations of writing quality, originality, and contribution to science.

Abstract

يهدف هذا المقال إلى تحليل دور Parebasan وTengka بوصفهما آليتين ثقافيتين تعملان على تطبيع عدم المساواة الجندرية في تعليم النساء داخل المجتمع المادوري، ولا سيما في منطقتي براغاعان وغولوك-غولوك بمحافظة سومنيب. تنطلق الدراسة من واقع استمرار اللامساواة البنيوية في وصول النساء إلى التعليم داخل المجتمعات التي تتمتع بروابط ثقافية محلية قوية، حيث تُستَخدم القيم التقليدية في كثير من الأحيان بوصفها مبررًا اجتماعيًا لتقييد أدوار النساء وحركتهن الاجتماعية. تركّز هذه الدراسة على كيفية اشتغال اللغة الثقافية والمعايير الاجتماعية بوظائف رمزية وأخلاقية في تشكيل التصورات الجماعية حول تعليم النساء. وتعتمد الدراسة منهجًا نوعيًا من خلال الملاحظة بالمشاركة، والمقابلات المعمقة، وأساليب التوثيق. وتشمل موضوعات البحث المادية تعبيرات Parebasan بوصفها صيغًا ثقافية مادورية، ونظام Tengka بوصفه منظومة للأخلاق الاجتماعية، إضافة إلى الخبرات المعيشة للنساء المرتبطة بقرارات التعليم وممارسات الزواج المبكر. تم جمع البيانات من القيادات المجتمعية، وأولياء الأمور، والفتيات الشابات، والجهات المعنية بالتعليم في مواقع البحث. وتُظهر النتائج أن Parebasan تعمل كأداة رمزية تُرسّخ القيم الأبوية من خلال السرديات الثقافية اليومية، في حين تقوم Tengka بدور آلية للضبط الاجتماعي قائمة على الأخلاق، ومفهوم العار (malo)، وشرف الأسرة (ajhina). وتسهم هذه الآليات الثقافية مجتمعة في تقييد الحراك الاجتماعي للنساء، وتهميش تعليم الفتيات، وإضفاء الشرعية على زواج الأطفال بوصفه حلًا معياريًا مقبولًا اجتماعيًا. وتؤكد هذه الدراسة أن عدم المساواة الجندرية في التعليم يُعاد إنتاجه بصورة غير مباشرة من خلال التطبيع الثقافي، مما يبرز أهمية التحول الثقافي وإعادة تأويل القيم المحلية من أجل تعزيز العدالة الجندرية في الوصول إلى التعليم.

Abstract

Local wisdom in Confucian marriage is a manifestation of cultural values and spiritual teachings that govern sacred and meaningful matrimonial procedures. In Indonesia, marriage in Confucianism is not merely considered a bond between two individuals, but also a union of two families and a form of reverence towards ancestors and Tian (Heaven). The marriage process encompasses several stages, including the proposal report, family meeting, selection of an auspicious date based on the Confucian calendar, and the wedding ceremony itself, which is conducted through offering and prayer rituals at the temple. Within the context of national law, Law No. 1 of 1974 of the Republic of Indonesia concerning Marriage recognizes the validity of Confucian marriages, provided they adhere to appropriate customary provisions and procedures. This local wisdom emphasizes the importance of harmony, respect, and unity in building a strong family, aligning with state norms and regulations. Thus, Confucian marriage reflects a synergy between customary traditions, spirituality, and Indonesian legal regulations within a framework of sustainable local wisdom. The research method used is qualitative with an analytical descriptive approach. This approach allows researchers to thoroughly examine the values of local wisdom, the ritual practices of Confucian marriage, and their application within the national legal context. Applicable methods include: In-depth interviews: Collecting data from Confucian religious leaders, married couples, and marriage law experts to obtain direct perspectives on the integration of custom and law. Participatory observation: Directly observing Confucian wedding processions and practiced traditions to understand the preserved local values. Abstract

: This study entitled "Facing Challenges: The Role of Contemporary Interpretation for Modern People" aims to analyze the characteristics and relevance of contemporary interpretation in answering various problems faced by modern people. First, this study shows that contemporary interpretation has more diverse characteristics compared to classical interpretation, allowing for more adaptive interpretations to the current social and cultural context. Second, this study emphasizes that contemporary interpretation is still very relevant and able to provide answers to the challenges that arise due to advances in information technology, which have changed people's lifestyles and created new problems in various aspects of life. The background of this problem is important because complex challenges require solutions so that humanity, especially Muslims, can live in harmony. By analyzing the works of scholars and interpreters in the contemporary era, this study seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the contribution of contemporary interpretation in facing the challenges of the times. Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji Islam moderat dan tantangan yang dihadirkannya dalam menghadapi transnasionalisme ideologi keagamaan di era globalisasi, dengan fokus utama pada konteks Indonesia dan perbandingan global. Islam moderat dipahami sebagai paradigma keberagamaan yang menekankan prinsip wasathiyyah, keseimbangan, dan keadilan, serta keterbukaan terhadap pluralisme, demokrasi, dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi kepustakaan dengan memadukan pendekatan sosiologis, historis, dan analisis wacana. Sumber data diperoleh dari literatur akademik, dokumen kebijakan, serta publikasi organisasi keagamaan di tingkat nasional dan internasional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Islam moderat di Indonesia memiliki karakter khas yang berakar pada tradisi keislaman lokal dan konsensus kebangsaan, sehingga relatif mampu beradaptasi dengan modernitas. Namun demikian, menguatnya ideologi keagamaan transnasional yang bersifat tekstual, eksklusif, dan ahistoris menghadirkan tantangan serius, baik pada level teologis, sosial, pendidikan, maupun kebangsaan. Dalam perbandingan global, pengalaman Indonesia menunjukkan potensi harmonisasi antara Islam, demokrasi, dan pluralisme, meskipun tetap memerlukan strategi penguatan yang berkelanjutan. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan Islam moderat harus dilakukan melalui pengembangan keilmuan, pendidikan kritis, dakwah digital, serta sinergi antara negara dan masyarakat sipil untuk menjaga kohesi sosial dan integrasi nasional.

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly reshaped education systems, including curriculum management in Islamic schools. Blended learning has emerged as a strategic approach that integrates online and face-to-face learning to enhance flexibility and effectiveness. However, its implementation still faces challenges, particularly in curriculum integration and the incorporation of Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the implementation of blended learning in curriculum management within Islamic schools, identify key success factors, and propose a conceptual model adaptable to digital transformation. This research employs a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review, drawing on recent academic journals, scholarly books, and policy reports. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and synthesis. The findings reveal that blended learning implementation remains at an adaptive stage with varying levels of integration. Its success is influenced by teachers’ digital competence, technological infrastructure, policy support, and student readiness. Furthermore, blended learning contributes to curriculum flexibility but has not yet fully driven structural transformation. Therefore, an integrative curriculum management model that combines technology, pedagogy, and Islamic values is essential.

Abstract

Social stratification in contemporary Indonesian society has significantly influenced the distribution of access to education, including Islamic education, which ideally should be inclusive and equitable. Differences in economic, social, and cultural backgrounds lead to disparities in both access and the quality of education received by students. This study aims to analyze the impact of social stratification on access to quality Islamic education, identify key factors contributing to inequality, and propose a conceptual model for more inclusive Islamic education. This research employs a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review, drawing on reputable academic journals, scholarly books, and recent education policy reports. Data analysis was conducted through literature selection, thematic categorization, interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that social stratification plays a significant role in shaping access to and quality of Islamic education. Inequality occurs not only at the level of access but also in institutional quality and learning experiences. Furthermore, education policies and digitalization exhibit ambivalent effects, potentially either reducing or reinforcing disparities. Therefore, an integrative model of Islamic education that combines access, quality, and Islamic values is necessary to establish a more inclusive and equitable education system.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasingly tight competition between educational institutions that demands the existence of appropriate management strategies to increase competitiveness, especially in SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan as a leading school. The purpose of this study is to describe the formulation of management strategies in the formulation of competitiveness of educational institutions at SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan. In this paper using a qualitative approach with data collection techniques carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with research subjects including the principal, vice principal, educators, and other related parties. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the strategy to increase competitiveness at SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan is guided by the vision and mission of the institution with an emphasis on improving the quality of human resources, strengthening cooperation with the industrial world and universities, developing extracurricular programs and student character, and adjusting the curriculum to industrial needs through the teaching factory program. In addition, the active involvement of all stakeholders and long-term oriented strategic planning are important factors in supporting the success of this strategy, so that the quality of graduates increases to become competent individuals, with superior character, and ready to face competition in the work environment and further education.
