Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence economic growth in each district or city in the province of East Java. This research is associative quantitative research with the data used as secondary data. All regencies/cities in East Java are this study's population and sample. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, a saturated sampling approach. The research sample was processed using spatial regression analysis techniques. The research results show that the weighting function used is fixed gaussian, and the spatial model has a coefficient of determination of 92.97%. The education and investment variables have a significant positive effect, while the human development index, poverty, and open unemployment rate variables significantly negatively affect economic growth. Different conditions are shown in the government expenditure variable, which in several districts/cities has a significant positive or negative effect on economic growth. This spatial condition shows high regional heterogeneity in East Java. The results of this study can be used as an essential input for the government to determine significant steps in improving people's welfare and increasing economic growth in every district or city in East Java province.

Abstract

This study aimed to show the effect of gender-oriented development on Indonesia's economic growth and the role of gender-oriented development from the perspective of Jasser Auda's sharia maqashid. This research is a quantitative study using combined panel data analysis from cross-sections of 34 provinces in Indonesia with a time series from 2010-2021. The data source uses secondary data in the form of documentation obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the library. The data analysis technique uses panel regression. Testing the model's specification uses the fixed effect model (FEM) approach with the Eviews analysis tool. The results show that the ratio of the average length of schooling for women and men positively and significantly affects Indonesia's economic growth. The life expectancy ratio for women and men negatively affects Indonesia's economic growth. The ratio of expenditure per capita for women and men does not affect Indonesia's economic growth. Based on Jasser Auda's sharia maqashid perspective, gender-oriented development is seen as ammah maqashid. Then the welfare practices are evenly distributed, and there is no inequality between women and men. This research can complement existing theories and become a reference source for other researchers studying gender-oriented development, economic growth, and sharia maqashid.

The research uses primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data in the form of literature. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, but first tested the validity, reliability, and classical assumptions. The results of this study indicate that product, price, promotion, distribution, process, and physical evidence positively and significantly influence Muslim consumers' decisions to use ShopeeFood services. Meanwhile, the person variable does not influence the Muslim consumer's decision to use ShopeeFood services. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of professional zakat fundraising to increase Muzakki's trust. The research was conducted at zakat management institutions, namely at LAZ Al-Abidin, LAZISMU UMS, and LAZISMU in Solo. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with related parties, documentation and literature. The results of this study indicate that professional zakat at LAZ Al-Abidin, LAZISMU UMS, and LAZISMU Solo has increased yearly. However, there is a problem at LAZ Al-Abidin and LAZISMU, namely the low level of public understanding of professional zakat, while for LAZISMU UMS, it is about regional coverage. The fundraising strategy carried out by LAZ Al-Abidin and LAZISMU UMS in increasing Muzakki's trust by carrying out data transparency, and increasing teamwork abilities, while LAZISMU Solo expanded marketing and created attractive reports. The strategy carried out by each zakat management institution can gain the trust of the Muzakki so that it can increase the receipt of professional zakat. This research has implications for developing the theory of professional zakat regarding fundraising strategy.

Abstract

Halal tourism is being developed to enhance Islamic law-based destinations' social, cultural, and destination values. However, the determinants influencing the antecedents of tourist loyalty to halal tourism have yet to be studied extensively. This study aims to analyze the role of antecedents of traveller loyalty in halal tourism in Yogyakarta. SEM-based quantitative research was used for its analysis. The study involved 200 participants, with the main criteria being that they had visited tourist destinations in Yogyakarta. The participants were selected by purposive sampling and then given an online questionnaire containing statements according to the research variables. All data were analyzed with SEM-AMOS. The findings show that the halal tourism experience, value perception, and satisfaction influence traveller loyalty. In contrast, traveller satisfaction is influenced by the halal tourism experience and value perception. Hence, the better the management of halal tourism in Yogyakarta, the more it contributes to increasing traveller satisfaction, which has implications for traveller loyalty. This research provides perspectives and technical and theoretical implications for entrepreneurs, governments, and managers of halal tourism destinations to increase socialization activities and intensify the concept of halal tourism, which has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on satisfaction and loyalty.
