Abstract

In early 2016 Asia University decided to use a new system in the process of drafting the KRS namely an online study plan card. The use of Online KRS system has few constraints because the new system is less socialization of its use so there are still many students who have not understood with the flow of filling Online KRS. Due to obstacles in the flow of filling Online KRS then selected an interactive infographic media to provide understanding and socialization of Online KRS to the students, especially new students who are just undergoing college. Interactive infographic media is created by combining images, text, video, audio and 2-dimensional animation. In this media there are 3 menus: the menu about contains a brief summary of the application contents and a glance of Asia, KRS flow contains the process of filling Online KRS, and author's profile contains about the data of this media maker. In this media there are also exit button, maximaze button, picture button in KRS path to KRS flow description page and next back button. The colors used in this medium are blue, orange, black and white served younger. While the text used is Arial font, Arial Black, Arial Rounded MT Bold, and Arial Narrow. Through this interactive infographic media, the students especially the new students who just undergo a period of unfamiliar and confused college can understand how the flow of filling Online KRS is still being run by Asia Malang. Based on the result of questionnaire of interactive infographic media testing on 60 people, it can be concluded with the interactive infographic media 32% of students were very understanding about the flow of filling Online KRS. 68% of respondents agreed and suitable use of this media as a medium of information flow process filling Online KRS.

Abstract

School is the level of education that must be passed before continuing to a higher level. In a school environment bullying continues to occur, even it tends to be inherited and present in various forms that we do not realize. The case of violence in high school is the highest. So it is necessary to design an infographic media that can convey messages about school bullying at high school level using motion graphic technique. To make an infographic media it is necessary to collect data through interview method and literature study. Then the datum obtained are summarized and analyzed into important points. Stages of infographic design in the form of visualization of making object characters and background, the process of editing the addition of effects and audio until the last stage is rendering. Visual and audio elements are composed using motion graphics techniques that make the target audience understand the information contained in the infographics faster and easier. The conclusion of this infographic design that is the importance of expertise in graphic design, skills in applying effects and reproduce references about infographics. This infographic distribution is uploaded on youtube channel then the link will be shared in high school groups. In addition it will be used as a medium of learning by counseling teachers. Based on the results of product testing through questionnaires, it can be concluded that respondents responded to this infographis well and very worthy to be published.

Abstract

The rapid advances in information technology (IT) provide ease in accessing and presenting information in various forms and media, in general (books, brochures, magazines, tabloids and posters), as well as in electronic or digital format (internet, film, cd-interactive And games). With the availability of many presentations the results of research data can be presented with more interesting and easy to use then the results data is used, such as contains elements of information This media is a promotion video about Ranu Tourism in object Probolinggo District-East Java. The video provides info on Ranu tourism in Probolinggo District-East Java. This promotional media will be presented in the form of promotion videos and information that will make it easier for tourists to know about WIsata Ranu in Probolinggo-East Java regency it aims to captivate the attractiveness of the tourists both local and foreign tourists to come and know the have tour Probolinggo. MPEG (MotionPicture Expert Group) was chosen because it has several adventages, Including MPEG is an international standard for digital audio and video format, typically used for VCD and DVD. In creating a video as an attractive media campaign, the media is created with elements such as videography, storyline, storyboard, and audio concepts. Software support in the post-production stage is Adobe After Effect to create an opening, Adobe Photoshop to design information, and Adobe Premiere Pro is used for video editing process. From the results of the respondents, the percentage value of the community responded well to the resulting product, so that the final study of 97% said that this video attracted their attention and deserved to be the Promotion Media Ranu Tourism object in Probolinggo District.

Abstract

Sedudo Waterfall is a waterfall and a tourist attraction located in Ngliman Village Sawahan, Nganjuk regency, East Java. The distance is about 30 km south of the capital Nganjuk district. Located at an altitude of 1438 meters above sea level, the height of the waterfall is about 105 meters. In an effort to present information to the public about the origin of waterfalls, it is necessary for have an Information media. Therefore motion graphic animation is one of the alternative information media that is used visual appearrance considerations of interest so that the audience can absorb the information submitted. In supporting the research process this final assigment required research methods such as data collection, analysis and concept design. The conclusion in making animation of sedudo Waterfall Nganjuk requires data and analysis with the aim that the information submitted can be received well, with the right creative concept, ranging from verbal information data that is conveyed to the design of visual ideas. From the calculation of questionnaire answers "Yes" as much as 82.8% while the answer "No" as much as 16.2%, it can be concluded based on the feasibility category of this information media very feasible to publish as information video.

Abstract

Kampung Pelangi Desa Bejalen merupakan tempat wisata yang menyajikan pemandangan alam Rawa Pening dan memiliki ciri khas wisata airnya. Mengingat pentingnya sign system dan peta wisata untuk memberikan informasi berupa letak tempat-tempat wisata yang terpisah di Kampung Pelangi Desa Bejalen, maka dirancang graphic environment yang komunikatif agar mampu menyampaikan pesan dengan mudah dan menarik. Perancangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang diperoleh melalui wawancara kepada pihak-pihak yang terkait yakni Kepala Desa, pengurus wisata, dan pengunjung. Desain yang dihasilkan menyesuaikan dengan konten objek wisata tersebut yakni mengusung tema wisata air. Selain itu, grafis pada peta wisata dibuat dengan melihatkan seluruh wilayah dengan gaya desain flat dengan teknik isometric. Setelah melakukan evaluasi dan pengujian pada perancangan ini yang ditujukan untuk Kampung Pelangi sudah layak untuk dipakai dan dipublikasikan secara umum. Abstract

Informasi mengenai profil perusahaan atau sering disebut company profile merupakan salah satu cara sebuah perusahaan dapat memperkenalkan diri. Video company profile dapat menjadi media yang cukup efektif sebagai sarana penyampaian informasi kepada audience. Dalam pembuatan video terdapat unsur cinematic yang dapat menarik audience, karena terdapat alur cerita film yang tidak terkesan monoton. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk memberikan inovasi dalam pengembangan cinematic company profile pada studi kasus Jawa Pos Radar Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan strategi linear. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap beberapa pimpinan divisi Jawa Pos Radar Semarang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah video cinematic company profile yang berisi tentang informasi mengenai Jawa Pos Radar Semarang yang disajikan dengan dalam alur persuasif.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a visual identity for the Dinoyo Malang ceramic village. Data was collected through interview methods and document studies analyzed by the S.W.O.T method. This design produced a GSM (Graphic Standard Manual) that contained the Dinoyo ceramic village logo, tagline, along with two characters Kerama and Krani as the mascot of the village.

Abstract

Abstract: World War II events that occurred on the island of Biak Papua, leaves many historical traces that are able to visit and access by people, one of them is the historical site of Binsari Cave, Binsari Cave is a silent witness of terribleness and war’s ferocity, where thousands of Japanese soldiers died killed, because of bombarded by the Allies. Based on observations done, the information related of the history of World War II that occurred in Biak is still very minimal, therefore information medium in the form of audio-visual video such as documentaries with feature genres, is needed ini order to narrate the actual fact of World War II happened. The design of the feature video uses qualitative method and Linear strategy so that it is expected to produce a more detailed information media, clear content and be able to attract people who are eager to know more about this historical event of World War II happened in Biak Island, as well as providing message to the public or tourists who visit the site to participate in maintaining and preserving historical sites in Biak Papua. Abstract

The Mantingan Mosque is an old mosque founded by a Duke of Jepara, Sultan Hadlirin and his wife Ratu Kalinyamat in 1481 Saka or 1559 AD. Besides having beauty in the architecture of the building, it also has ancient ornaments patterned with flowers, plants, animals and others that are beautifully carved around its walls. The diversity of motifs, shapes and patterns of each carving makes researchers interested in knowing what are the aesthetic and symbolic values ​​contained in each carving ornament on the walls of the Mantingan Jepara mosque. Aesthetic values ​​are represented in a carving media which is then designed to be fully carved into beautiful, intricate, "ngremit" (sophisticated) and "ngrawit" ornaments as indicators of progress and the high expertise and skills of Jepara carving artists at that time. While its symbolic value is full of the philosophy of life represented by the form of communication between the leader (Queen) of Jepara at that time to its citizens.

Abstract

Technology has an important role in human life. Humans are given the ease to do and complete activities to be more effective and efficient. In the next life, there was a shift in social activities to further introduce the community to support cultural preservation. The design of an information media about the local culture in technology can be used as a form of effort in the background of the nation's cultural assets so that it can be recognized by the wider community. Interactive media design for introduction of the selonding gamelan as one of the Hindu cultural heritage in Bali. By introducing the culture of megamelan selonding, it is hoped that it can make the community more familiar with preserving culture based on local wisdom. So an Android-based media design is very important to be designed and directly proportional to the development of science and technology in society. One of them utilizes Android-based smartphone technology as a medium to introduce selonding gamelan to the public. In this study the design and manufacture of interactive media is based on the existing instruments in the selonding gamelan. Making an interactive media introduction to Android-based gamelan selonding is expected to be a medium for preserving Balinese culture and to attract the interest of young people in learning selonding gamelan. After the implementation of interactive media, the Likert scale method is tested, the testing is carried out with the play process and the functions that exist on the interactive media. The results of the test are in line with expectations and on their respective functions.
