Abstract

This study aims to develop a product excellence strategy that is suitable for PT XYZ, a prominent halal cosmetics distributor in Indonesia, in responding to the dynamics of opportunities and challenges in the digital era. With a descriptive qualitative method based on literature studies, a SWOT analysis was conducted to explore the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that affect the company. The findings show that PT XYZ's strength lies in product quality, strong halal brand image, and wide distribution reach. Despite this, the company still faces limitations in terms of digital innovation and expansion into international markets. The growth of e-commerce, the growing interest in natural products, and the potential for digital cooperation are strategic opportunities, while challenges arise from the intensity of competition, changing consumer preferences, and data protection issues. Recommended strategies include accelerating digital transformation, improving online brand image, sustainable product innovation, and partnerships with digital figures. It is hoped that the implementation of this strategy can strengthen PT XYZ's competitive position at the national and global levels in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of digital marketing in enhancing customer loyalty in the start-up business of PT Elther Jaya Solusindo. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The findings reveal that digital marketing strategies significantly influence customer loyalty through improved trust, engagement, and customer experience. The company utilizes social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business to establish interactive and responsive two-way communication. Key factors affecting customer loyalty include response speed, digital content quality, and personalized approaches that foster emotional attachment. Overall, PT Elther Jaya Solusindo’s digital marketing strategy effectively builds long-term relationships and strengthens customer loyalty amid the digital transformation era.

Abstract

Programmers are often faced with the pressure of completing projects within tight deadlines, whether during system development or when fixing bugs. This situation frequently leads them to work for extended periods in front of computer screens, often neglecting health considerations. Such habits can trigger various physical and mental health issues, including eye strain, muscle pain, sleep disturbances, and excessive stress. Based on these conditions, this study aims to design a web-based expert system that can detect early signs of potential health problems resulting from intensive digital device usage. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, which adopts the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and supports application security. For the inference process, the Certainty Factor method was applied to calculate the confidence level of a diagnosis based on user-input symptoms. Knowledge about symptoms and diseases was obtained through consultations with experts and formulated into rules used by the system. In one of the tests, a user named Agus was diagnosed with Computer Vision Syndrome with a confidence level of 99.93%. This result demonstrates that the method effectively manages uncertainty and produces accurate decisions. In addition to providing diagnoses, the system also offers initial recommendations such as applying the 20-20-20 rule and adjusting screen positioning. Therefore, this system is considered effective as a preliminary consultation tool to help programmers recognize health issues before seeking professional medical assistance.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in the digitalization of healthcare services, particularly in the outpatient registration process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of EMR in outpatient registration, examine the role of Medical Recorders, and identify obstacles and possible solutions. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, which includes direct observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of SOP documents and flowcharts, as well as a literature review of related scientific journals and books published in the last decade. This literature review is used to strengthen the theoretical basis, compare the results obtained in the field with previous research, and develop a state of the art framework. The results of the study indicate that the EMR system has been connected at all stages of registration, starting from checking patient data, inputting information into the Hospital Management Information System (SIM-RS), to printing the Participant Eligibility Letter (SEP). The role of Medical Recorders is very important in ensuring the smooth registration process and the accuracy of patient data. However, several issues arose during the system's implementation, including technical issues with the SIM-RS, an unstable network, and a lack of technical training for Medical Recorders. Based on the findings, it is recommended to strengthen the technology infrastructure, improve the SIM-RS system, and implement regular training and digital literacy programs for Medical Recorders to support the creation of effective, accurate, and long-term outpatient registration services.

Abstract

The implementation of Electronic Medical Records at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital is one of the steps in improving service quality in line with the times in the digitalization era, particularly in insurance claims. The purpose of this study is to understand how the implementation of electronic medical records is carried out in insurance claims at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. The method used in this study is a descriptive study using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results show that the implementation of electronic medical records can speed up patient data input, minimize administrative errors, and facilitate the insurance claim process. The staff have adequate competence in operating the system, although there are still issues with internet connectivity and system speed. This study concludes that EMR plays an important role in patient services and makes the insurance claim process more efficient, while emphasizing the importance of system stability. Periodic training for staff and communication with the insurance company to ensure a smooth insurance claim process

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based outpatient service information system. The development of this system applies the waterfall method, with Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) used as modeling tools. Based on the findings, outpatient services at the Primary Healthcare Facility are still conducted manually. Patient data is stored using paper-based media, which leads to time-consuming data retrieval processes, as staff must search through paper sheets across multiple books and archives. Moreover, each entity is not yet integrated, resulting in slow, inaccurate, and irrelevant information output. To address these issues, an information system is needed to facilitate efficient data entry, collection, processing, searching, and reporting of patient data. The proposed information system is expected to reduce the existing problems in Primary Healthcare Facilities. With integrated media for data storage, patient data processing, and medical record files, registration officers can serve patients more quickly and easily during their visits for medical treatment.

Abstract

Efisiensi operasional pelabuhan sangat bergantung pada akurasi prediksi waktu sandar kapal, terutama di Pelabuhan Tanjung Pandan yang memiliki karakteristik tramp trade dengan variasi kapal yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan kinerja metode Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) dan Random Forest dalam memprediksi durasi sandar kapal sebagai dasar optimasi alokasi dermaga. Menggunakan data operasional periode 2023–2024 (125 observasi), variabel input mencakup Gross Tonnage (GT), Length Overall (LOA), serta tanggal tiba dan berangkat; sedangkan output adalah durasi sandar dalam jam. Data diproses melalui pembersihan, rekayasa fitur, dan normalisasi, lalu dibagi menjadi 80% latih dan 20% uji. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan RMSE, MAE, dan R². Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest mengungguli LSTM dengan RMSE 5,34 jam (vs. 7,82), MAE 4,07 jam (vs. 5,91), dan R² 0,917 (vs. 0,812), mengindikasikan kemampuannya menangkap interaksi non-linear antarfitur statis seperti GT dan LOA lebih efektif dalam konteks operasional pelabuhan ini. Temuan ini merekomendasikan penerapan Random Forest sebagai model prediktif dalam sistem pendukung keputusan alokasi dermaga untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi waiting time kapal

Abstract

Operational delays in vessel departure disrupt maritime logistics and increase port dwell time. This study develops predictive models to anticipate departure delays at Tanjung Pandan Port using supervised machine learning. Three algorithms—Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Support Vector Machine (SVM)—were trained on 112 verified port calls (2023–2024) with key features: arrival date, scheduled departure date, vessel ownership status (milik vs. keagenan), and document response time. Delay was defined as exceeding the median turnaround time of 58 hours. Data preprocessing included imputation, time-difference engineering (e.g., ΔTIBA–BERANGKAT, response latency), and SMOTE for class balancing. Performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score via 5-fold cross-validation. The Decision Tree model achieved the highest F1-score (0.86) and recall (0.89), identifying response latency > 12 hours, keagenan status, and arrival during neap tide windows as top predictors. SVM showed robust precision (0.88), while Logistic Regression offered the best interpretability of coefficient impact. The models collectively support proactive scheduling interventions-e.g., digital clearance acceleration or priority berthing for high-risk vessels—to mitigate delays. This study contributes the first ML-based delay prediction framework for shallow-draft, tramp-operated Indonesian ports.

Abstract

Information technology today is highly advanced and has a significant impact on the government sector, particularly in managing time and resources. One application of information technology is the scheduling information system for the members of the West Java Provincial DPRD. However, until now, the scheduling system in the West Java Provincial DPRD still uses a manual method with Microsoft Word. This has resulted in the scheduling process being less efficient and highly prone to errors. The manual method complicates data retrieval, information updates, and structured documentation. To address this issue, a web-based scheduling information system has been designed using the CodeIgniter framework. The development method used is the waterfall method, which starts from the requirements analysis phase to the maintenance phase. System testing is conducted using the black-box method and questionnaires, which indicate that all functions within the system operate well according to user needs. With this information system, the scheduling process in the West Java Provincial DPRD becomes faster, more accurate, and well-documented. This system also assists staff in organizing and monitoring activity schedules, while reducing errors that often occur in the manual system.
