Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices while generating challenges related to moral degradation, social responsibility, and weakening student character. This study aims to analyze the philosophical foundations, similarities, differences, and educational relevance of the Pancasila Student Profile and the Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin Student Profile in strengthening character education in contemporary Indonesian education. This study employed qualitative library research using a descriptive-analytical and philosophical approach. Data were obtained from government policy documents, books, classical Islamic literature, and recent scholarly publications concerning character education, educational philosophy, and Islamic education. The findings reveal that both profiles share core values, including faith, moral integrity, social responsibility, tolerance, independence, critical thinking, creativity, and respect for diversity. However, the Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin Student Profile emphasizes Islamic ethics, moderation, spiritual refinement, and adab, whereas the Pancasila Student Profile prioritizes citizenship, global competence, and democratic values. The study proposes an integrative model synthesizing these complementary perspectives through the ideas of Lickona, Ahmad Amin, Ibn Miskawayh, Az-Zarnuji, Maslow, and Maragustam to strengthen holistic character education for morally grounded, intellectually competent, socially responsible, and globally competitive Indonesian students.

Abstract

Moral education is a central concern of Islamic education because intellectual development alone does not guarantee the formation of responsible and ethical human beings. This article examines Ahmad Amin’s thought on the philosophy of moral education and its relevance to contemporary Islamic education. The study uses library research with a descriptive-analytical approach, drawing primarily on Ahmad Amin’s ethical thought and supporting works on Islamic educational philosophy and character education. The analysis shows that Ahmad Amin understands morality as a deeply rooted disposition that becomes visible in habitual conduct. Consequently, moral education should move beyond the transmission of moral concepts toward habituation, exemplary conduct, moral training, and a supportive social environment. His perspective also connects moral formation with the balanced use of reason and spiritual awareness, so that religious commitment is expressed in ethical responsibility and social conduct. The article argues that Ahmad Amin’s thought remains relevant to contemporary Islamic education because it offers a humanistic and contextual framework for character formation amid modernization, digital change, globalization, and moral uncertainty.

Abstract

Javanese alun-alun represents a distinctive cultural landscape in which historical, social, political, symbolic, and public-space functions intersect. This study aims to analyze the historical transformation of Javanese cultural landscapes through the development of alun-alun as public spaces in Tangerang Regency, with particular attention to changes in spatial structure, public functions, cultural symbolism, and historical continuity. The study employs a qualitative historical-interpretive approach with a cultural landscape case-study design. Data were obtained through historical-document analysis, field observation, spatial documentation, and semi-structured interviews with relevant community and institutional actors. Data were analyzed through chronological reconstruction, thematic coding, source criticism, triangulation, and interpretive synthesis. The findings reveal that the transformation of alun-alun is characterized by structural reconfiguration, functional diversification, and selective reinterpretation of cultural meanings. Contemporary revitalization increases accessibility, recreation, social interaction, and economic activity, but may simultaneously weaken historical spatial relationships and traditional cultural functions. Nevertheless, cultural identity persists through collective memory, community practices, symbolic associations, and continuing public recognition. The study concludes that alun-alun transformation constitutes adaptive cultural negotiation rather than simple cultural displacement. Its contribution lies in positioning alun-alun as living cultural infrastructure and proposing an integrated perspective connecting morphological continuity, functional adaptation, cultural-symbolic continuity, and participatory governance within sustainable heritage management.

Abstract

This study examines the public relations (PR) strategy of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) of the Republic of Indonesia in utilizing official Instagram posts (@kemkomdigi) as a medium for public information dissemination and explores the causes of dominant negative public responses in the digital sphere. Using a constructivist paradigm and Robert K. Yin’s qualitative single-case study method, the study applies James E. Grunig and Larissa A. Grunig’s Relationship Management Theory and Four Models of Public Relations. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with key social media staff and management, observation of 24 selected posts and public comment threads from January to December 2025, and official documentation. The findings show that Komdigi’s PR strategy predominantly employs the Public Information and Two-Way Asymmetrical models. Information is verified through a multilayered process to ensure accuracy, while comment monitoring and monthly analytics guide message framing and content strategies. However, Two-Way Symmetrical communication remains constrained by bureaucratic hierarchies and public skepticism. The study recommends agile teams, streamlined response procedures, and empathy-driven narratives to strengthen digital public trust.

Abstract

This study reviews the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analytics (BDA) for fraud detection in accounting and auditing. The review adopts a systematic literature review approach guided by PRISMA principles and synthesizes 20 peer-reviewed and scholarly sources covering data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, audit analytics, and big data. The literature indicates that AI and BDA extend fraud detection from periodic, sample-based procedures toward continuous, risk-oriented analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Machine learning methods, including logistic regression, support vector machines, decision trees, ensemble methods, neural networks, and deep learning, are increasingly used to classify suspicious observations and identify nonlinear fraud patterns. BDA strengthens these models by integrating financial ratios, transaction records, audit evidence, textual disclosures, management commentary, and external information. The review also identifies persistent challenges involving class imbalance, data quality, explainability, privacy, model bias, cybersecurity, and auditor competencies. Overall, the evidence suggests that AI and BDA are most effective when deployed as decision-support mechanisms that complement professional skepticism and audit judgment rather than replace them. Future research should emphasize multimodal data integration, explainable AI, real-time analytics, robust validation across jurisdictions, and governance frameworks for responsible AI-enabled accounting and auditing.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing an Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategy to enhance brand awareness amid the increasingly competitive fast-food industry. Almaz Fried Chicken Percetakan Negara, a fried chicken restaurant with a Middle Eastern concept, needs to build strong brand awareness in order to be recognized and remembered by consumers. This study aims to analyze the Integrated Marketing Communication strategy implemented by Almaz Fried Chicken Percetakan Negara in improving brand awareness. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of the Store Leader, Local Store Marketing staff, and consumers of Almaz Fried Chicken Percetakan Negara. This study applied the Integrated Marketing Communication theory proposed by Kotler and Keller, along with Aaker’s Brand Awareness theory. The findings reveal that Almaz Fried Chicken Percetakan Negara implements six IMC elements, namely Advertising, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Direct Marketing, Event and Experience, and Word of Mouth Marketing. These strategies have successfully enhanced consumers’ brand awareness, as reflected in their ability to recognize the brand (brand recognition), recall the brand (brand recall), and place Almaz Fried Chicken among the first brands that come to mind (top of mind).

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the Solvency Ratio (CAR), Liquidity Ratio (LDR), and Inflation on Financial Performance (ROA) in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022-2025 period. The phenomenon underlying this research is that high solvency and liquidity ratios in banking are not always followed by optimal improvements in financial performance, reinforced by inconsistent findings in previous studies. This research is a quantitative study with an associative approach using secondary data. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, resulting in 29 banking companies with 116 initial observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 26, including classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test), and the coefficient of determination test. The results show that the Solvency Ratio (CAR) has no significant effect, while the Liquidity Ratio (LDR) has a positive and significant effect on Financial Performance (ROA). Inflation has no significant effect, but simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect Financial Performance (ROA) with an explanatory power of 8.8%. These results are expected to serve as an evaluation for banking management, a consideration for investors, and a reference for future researchers.

Abstract

The growth of the laundry business in Karawang City shows a significant increase every year, which leads to very tight competition among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. In the context of these developments, effective financial management is the most important factor for business sustainability. The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of accounting in the Laundry Jelita business in East Karawang is an accordance with the basic concept of accounting. This research uses a qualitative method, and the object is the owner of the Jelita Laundry business. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews and structured list of questions, while secondary data was obtained from literature review books, journals, theses, and data analysis using descriptive methods. Weaknesses in supervision result in the risk of miscalculation and inefficiencies in operational costs. As a solution, this study recommends the development of the application of simple computer-based accounting to reduce errors, improve internal control of cash, and produce accurate and timely financial statements to support more strategic decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the surrounding environment as a learning resource through a contextual approach in improving the descriptive text writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of this study is that students still find difficulties in writing descriptive texts, such as a lack of ideas, limited word choice, sentences that are not coherent, and a lack of ability to describe objects in detail. Learning that is only centered on books makes students lack real-world experience as writing material. Therefore, the school environment is used as a learning resource so that students can observe objects directly. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, and assessment of student writing results. The learning steps are carried out through apperception activities, introduction to descriptive texts, observation of objects in the school environment, recording observation results, preparing writing outlines, writing descriptive texts, and improving writing based on feedback. The learning results show that the contextual approach based on the environment helps students more easily find ideas, enrich vocabulary, structure sentences, and describe objects more clearly. In addition, students become more active, enthusiastic, and care about the school environment. Thus, utilizing the surrounding environment as a learning resource can be an effective, simple, and meaningful learning alternative to improve the descriptive text writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. The suggestion that can be given is that teachers should more often utilize the surrounding environment as a learning resource, especially in learning Indonesian which requires real experience.

Abstract

Changes to the labor law regime following the enactment of No. 6 of 2023 on Job Creation have led to a dual regulatory framework regarding the financial rights of workers under Fixed-Term Employment Agreements (PKWT) who experience termination of employment before the end of their contract term specifically, between compensation for the remaining contract period and compensation for the termination of the PKWT which is still frequently misapplied in industrial relations court practice. This study aims to analyze the normative regulations governing these two rights based on Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021, as well as their application in Supreme Court Decision No. 720 K/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2024. The study employs a normative legal method using a statutory approach, a case-based approach, and a conceptual approach, analyzed through the Theory of Legal Protection and the Theory of Legal Certainty. The results of the study indicate that the Industrial Relations Court at the Denpasar District Court erroneously applied the severance pay standards for permanent employees to a fixed-term employment contract (PKWT) case; consequently, the Supreme Court corrected this by establishing a cumulative obligation consisting of compensation for the remaining contract period and PKWT compensation, while simultaneously reaffirming the principles of proportionality and ultimum remedium in the termination of employment. The study concludes that there is a need for technical judicial guidelines that clearly distinguish among the three types of financial rights of fixed-term contract workers to prevent disparities in rulings and strengthen legal certainty.
