Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effect of halal labeling and prices on purchasing decisions for imported food products in packaging (a case study of FEBI UIN STS Jambi students). As a goal, among others, to determine the effect of halal labeling on purchasing decisions of imported food products in packaging, and to determine the effect of prices on purchasing decisions of imported food products in packaging. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with questionnaire data collection methods (questionnaires), interviews, and documentation. The population in this study were students of FEBI UIN STS Jambi and samples as research respondents will be taken using non-probability sampling techniques with the Slovin formula of 100 students found at the time of the study. Data obtained in this study were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 21 program.The results of this study indicate that the calculated F value of 31.724 is greater than the F table of 3.09, which means that simultaneously there is an influence on the labeling of halal (X1) and price (X2) on the purchase decision for imported food products in packaging. Partially, it can be seen that all independent variables influence the purchasing decision, namely the halal labeling variable (X1) of 7,554 is greater than t table of 1.984 and the price (X2) of 2.074 is greater than the value of t table 1.984. Based on the results seen from the beta coefficient, the variable that most influences the Purchase Decision variable is the Halal Labeling variable which has a beta coefficient of 0.597 which is greater than the beta coefficient of the price variable which is only 0.164.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to find out how the perception of mosque administrators towards Islamic bank savings products (2) to find out how mosque administrators are interested in saving their mosque funds to Islamic banks. The method used to collect data in this study is through interviews, observation and documentation. In this study, the research objects used were 9 mosques in the Simpang IV Sipin Telanaipura area. The results of this study are that the mosque administrators in the Simpang IV Sipin Telanaipura area there are still some mosque administrators who do not really understand the products issued by Islamic banks, 6 out of 9 mosques studied that the administrators have the perception that Islamic bank products are good, guaranteed by the sharia which is free from usury elements. While the other 3 mosques mosque administrators perceive that Islamic bank products are not much different from conventional banks, they assume that as long as conventional banks do not take excessive profits from customer savings, it is still different if they take profits beyond the limit. Furthermore, as many as 6 mosques, the administrators are interested in saving the mosque funds that they manage in Islamic banks. Meanwhile, as many as 2 mosques, the administrators are not interested in saving the mosque funds that they manage in Islamic banks, they prefer conventional banks. If it is percented, 67% of mosque administrators are interested and 22% of mosque administrators are not interested. Mosque administrators who do not save in Islamic banks because they save in conventional banks, they have the perception that Islamic banks have complicated requirements, difficult and long arrangements, which is why they prefer conventional banks. And 1 mosque administrator is not interested in either Islamic banks or conventional banks, if percented by 11%. The implication of the findings of this study is that it is necessary to follow up on efforts related to increasing public knowledge of Islamic financial products for the better development of Islamic banking, mosques and society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital adequacy, problem financing, operational efficiency, and liquidity level on the profitability of BTPN Syariah for the 2014-2019 period. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with the object of research capital adequacy proxied Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), financing problems proxied Non Performing Financing (NPF), Operational Efficiency proxied Operational Expenses Operating Income (BOPO), liquidity level proxied Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and profitability are proxied by Return On Assets (ROA). As the research subject is the annual financial report (Annual Report) from the BTPN Syariah quarter 2014-2019. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression.The results showed that the significant value of CAR of 0.000 <0.05 has a significant effect on ROA, a significant value or NPF of 0.000 <0.050 has a significant effect on ROA, a significant value or BOPO of 0.010 has a significant effect on ROA, and a significant value of FDR of 0.050 is equal to 0.050 has a significant effect on ROA. The results of the analysis show that CAR and BOPO have a positive effect on ROA, while NPF and FDR have a negative effect on ROA. From this study, the CAR value is a variable that has a strong influence on ROA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the development of zakat distribution in BAZNAS and the number of poor mustahik in Jambi city during 2014-2018 and how the influence of zakat distribution by BAZNAS on the number of poor mustahik in Jambi City during 2014-2018. The method used in this research is In this study the authors conducted research with qualitative methods. Qualitative method is a research approach used to understand social phenomena or human behavior from an in-depth and complex perspective. In contrast to quantitative methods that focus more on measuring numbers and statistics, qualitative methods emphasize the collection and analysis of data that is descriptive, contextual, and interpretative. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the receipt and distribution of zakat funds by BAZNAS Jambi City from 2014 to 2018. This shows the efforts of the Jambi City government in increasing the distribution of zakat funds as a way to overcome poverty. The number of poor mustahik who receive zakat from BAZNAS Jambi City has also increased significantly every year. This shows that the increase in the distribution of zakat funds has succeeded in reaching the target population in need.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this research is to find out the role of Sharia Cooperatives in improving the economy of Harapan Makmur Village Community. This type of research is qualitative research. Research reveals phenomena or events by explaining, describing / describing in clear and detailed words through language that is not aimed at numbers / numbers. Qualitative research is research that solves problems using empirical data. This research technique uses inductive techniques based on specific facts, then analyzed and finally found a general problem solving. The result of the research is that the existence of a Sharia Cooperative in Harapan Makmur Village is very helpful as a solution to the wheels of the community economy. With this Sharia Cooperative, the income of members of the Harapan Makmur Village Sharia Cooperative has increased. Harapan Makmur Village Sharia Cooperative has a positive influence on Cooperative members, because in addition to being a capital provider, Sharia Cooperatives also make people avoid practices that are prohibited in Islam such as Maysir, Gharar, and Riba.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concrete role of judicial institutions in the enforcement of sharia economic law in Indonesia. The main focus is to understand how the Religious Courts, District Courts, and Supreme Courts handle sharia economic cases and identify the challenges faced in the process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation analysis. The results of the study show that the Religious Court has a central role in the application of sharia principles in banking, insurance, and sharia capital market cases. Collaboration between Religious Courts and District Courts is important in handling complex cases involving aspects of national law and sharia. However, several challenges such as the lack of special training for judges, limited resources, and unclear regulations are still the main obstacles in the enforcement of sharia economic law. This research makes a theoretical contribution by enriching the literature on sharia economic law and practicality by providing recommendations to increase the effectiveness of sharia economic law enforcement. The main recommendations include increasing training and capacity building of judges, harmonization of regulations, and the use of information technology in case management. Thus, this research is expected to support the creation of a fairer and more effective legal system in the enforcement of sharia economic law in Indonesia.

Abstract

The majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim, making it necessary to have designs that consider religious aspects in increasing efficiency and harmony in organizations. This research aims to review how human resource management is viewed from a sharia economic perspective. The research method used was qualitative research with data collection carried out through literature study (library). The research results show that Human Resources Management (HR) in the context of sharia economics has a significant positive impact on organizations and employees. Based on the principles of the Koran and Hadith, this management increases employee responsibility, integrity and trust. Islamic values such as honesty, justice, transparency, and a passion for self-improvement motivate employees to work with full commitment, increase productivity, and strengthen loyalty to the organization. Overall, the application of sharia principles in HR management not only provides benefits in improving organizational performance and efficiency, but also has a positive impact on the spiritual and moral welfare of employees and creates a harmonious, productive and ethical work environment.

Abstract

Zakat and waqf have an important role in strengthening the ummah's economy and building community welfare. In the digital era, this role is increasingly strategic with the existence of various innovations and digital platforms that facilitate the collection, management, and distribution of zakat and waqf. This research aims to analyze the role of zakat and waqf in empowering the people's economy in Indonesia, especially through the use of digital technology. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies and secondary data analysis related to zakat and waqf digital platforms in Indonesia. The results show that digital technology enables more efficient, transparent, and accountable distribution of zakat and waqf, as well as expanding the reach of beneficiaries. In addition, digitalization also helps increase public awareness of the importance of zakat and waqf in strengthening the economic independence of the ummah. The use of applications and websites in the collection of zakat and waqf funds shows an increase in community participation, especially the younger generation, in supporting social activities and economic empowerment. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between zakat and waqf management institutions, the government, and the technology sector to encourage the development of digital platforms that can increase the effectiveness and impact of zakat and waqf in empowering the people's economy.

Abstract

The Islamic economy has undergone significant development in recent decades, especially with the digital transformation and globalization affecting various economic sectors. These changes bring new challenges to the sharia economy, but they also open up opportunities for innovation and increased relevance. This research aims to analyze how digital transformation and innovation can help the Islamic economy overcome challenges in the modern era. With the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study identifies various strategies and practices that have been implemented to improve the competitiveness of the sharia economy in the midst of global changes. The results of the study show that the integration of digital technology, such as sharia fintech and blockchain, is one of the important factors in encouraging the efficiency and transparency of sharia economic transactions, especially in the context of the global market. In addition, increasing Islamic financial literacy is also the key to ensuring that the public understands and can access financial products in accordance with sharia principles. International collaboration is also needed to create a more inclusive and sustainable sharia economic ecosystem. Overall, this study emphasizes that adaptation to digital technology and increased global collaboration are important steps in maintaining the relevance of the sharia economy in the era of increasingly digital and globalization

Abstract

Seconomy has become an integral part of the Indonesian economic system, especially after the implementation of policies that support the sustainability of this sector. In an effort to accelerate the growth of the sharia economy, Bank Indonesia (BI) plays an important role with various strategic policies implemented to strengthen this sector. The strategies implemented by BI not only include monetary policy, but also financial inclusion, development of the sharia capital market, and strengthening of sharia financial institutions. This study aims to explore more deeply the efforts of Bank Indonesia in encouraging the development of the sharia economy and its impact on overall economic growth. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with analysis of literature studies and relevant secondary data. Based on the analysis conducted, the strategies implemented by Bank Indonesia have proven effective in increasing the contribution of the sharia economy sector to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Bank Indonesia, through comprehensive policies, provides significant impetus for the growth of the sharia economy, both in terms of macroeconomic policies and the real sector.
