Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of worship practice methods on students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects at MIS Hidayatul Mubtadiin Mukomuko. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. Data were collected using a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire. The sample was selected using total sampling due to the relatively small population. Data analysis revealed a significant influence of worship practice methods on students' learning interest. Simple linear regression analysis produced the equation Y = 1.25 + 0.72X, with a t-test value of 3.27, which exceeds the critical value of 2.024. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.523, indicating that 52.3% of students' learning interest is influenced by the implementation of worship practice methods. These findings suggest that students' active engagement in religious practices can be an effective approach to enhancing learning motivation in religious education. The novelty of this study lies in the application of worship practice as an active and applicable learning strategy in the madrasah context.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mobile web–based information system to support service management at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hidayah, located in Kalisari, Kalirejo, Central Lampung. The system is designed to improve efficiency, accessibility, and service quality for students (santri), administrators, and other stakeholders. The development process follows several stages, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. By adopting mobile web technology, the system enables users to access information and utilize various services anytime and anywhere through their mobile devices. The proposed system integrates key features such as institutional profile information, activity schedules, announcements, financial information, and new student registration. In addition, communication features are provided to facilitate interaction between students, pesantren administrators, and parents or guardians through instant messaging or notification services. These features aim to reduce manual administrative processes, minimize information delays, and enhance transparency in service delivery. The results of this study indicate that the developed system has the potential to significantly improve operational efficiency and user experience in pesantren services. Furthermore, this system can serve as a foundational platform for future development, particularly in expanding the integration of information technology to support daily operational and managerial activities within Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of Aqidah Akhlak learning in shaping students’ ethics of respecting teachers at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. The background of this research is based on the importance of instilling noble moral values from an early age as a foundation for students’ character development. Aqidah Akhlak learning, which is derived from the Qur’an and Hadith, plays a strategic role in fostering respectful, polite, and ethical attitudes toward teachers as educators and moral role models. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of the school principal, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and parents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that strengthening Aqidah Akhlak learning through teachers’ role modeling, habituation practices, and a religious school culture effectively shapes students’ ethics in respecting teachers. However, the consistency of these ethical behaviors requires continuous support from the family environment. This study concludes that synergy between schools and parents is essential to optimize the formation of students’ ethics in respecting teachers at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.

Abstract

In the field of education, access to accurate and timely information is a crucial factor in supporting institutional development and academic effectiveness. Along with the rapid digital transformation, educational institutions are increasingly required to adopt computerized systems to improve the quality of academic services. However, many schools still rely on manual data processing methods or simple tools such as Microsoft Excel, which are prone to human error, data inconsistency, and inefficiency in data retrieval across departments. This study focuses on the design and implementation of a web mobile based Academic Information System at SMA PGRI Pagelaran, which previously managed academic data manually. The existing system caused delays, difficulties in data searching, and reduced effectiveness in academic administration. To address these challenges, a web-mobile academic information system was developed to support academic processes more efficiently. The research employed the Waterfall development method, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. System modeling was designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The system was developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The resulting system enables efficient management and access to academic data such as student records, teacher data, grades, attendance, schedules, and school information through mobile devices, thereby improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, and information accessibility for stakeholders.

Abstract

Teacher performance assessment is a crucial component in improving the quality of education and maintaining academic standards in schools. However, manual and detailed assessment processes often lead to subjectivity and potential social jealousy among teachers, which may negatively affect motivation and the teaching environment. This study aims to enhance transparency, objectivity, and efficiency in teacher performance evaluation by applying a Decision Support System using the VIKOR method. The research was conducted at MTs Negeri 2 Tanggamus using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through interviews with the school principal, direct observation of the assessment process, and literature studies. Five assessment criteria were used, namely discipline, teacher attendance, competence, task performance, and responsibility. The VIKOR method was applied to process the normalized decision matrix, calculate the utility measure (S), regret measure (R), and VIKOR index (Q), which were then used to rank teacher performance objectively. The results indicate that the application of the VIKOR method successfully produces a clear and systematic ranking of teacher performance. The findings show that Teacher A achieved the best performance rank, followed by Teacher B and Teacher C. This study concludes that the VIKOR method is effective in reducing subjectivity and supporting fair, data-driven decision-making in teacher performance assessment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages the innovation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media in elementary schools to be more interactive and interesting. However, PAI learning is still dominated by conventional methods that cause low motivation and student learning outcomes. This research aims to develop interactive animation video-based learning media to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of grade V students of Cambang 3 State Elementary School. The research method uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the stages of needs analysis, design, application development, trial, and evaluation. The trial was conducted on 23 students using a simple questionnaire and evaluation of PAI learning outcomes. The results showed that the level of student interest in the application reached 86.95%, while the results of the learning evaluation increased from an average of 68.26 to 84.13 or an increase of 23.24%. Interactive animated video media has been proven to be able to increase student involvement, motivation, and understanding so that it is suitable for use as a PAI learning medium in elementary schools.

Abstract

The digital system in the era of digitalization is developing rapidly, so it requires the Management of MT Raden Intan Gadingrejo to meet functional needs in the fields of data, applications, and technology. The role of technology is crucial in providing information to support decision-making. Therefore, it is necessary to design an information system that allows users to access data and information effectively. Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) is a method of planning your entire information architecture. The EAP phase includes data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and implementation design. In this study, we used use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams as implementation support tools. MTs Raden Intan Gadingrejo's research produced a strategic blueprint in the form of a mobile website-based information system. The purpose of this system is to improve the quality of services in madrassas by allowing users to access information easily even when they are not there. Only with software and an online connection, users can access information easily. This design is expected to be a reference for improving services in schools and providing effective digital solutions.

Abstract

The development of information technology in education encourages schools to improve the quality of academic services through effective and accessible digital systems. MTs Mathlaul Anwar Talangpadang Tanggamus still faces challenges in managing academic services manually, including grade processing, attendance management, class scheduling, and payment information, resulting in delays and ineffective services for students and parents. This study aims to design and implement a mobile web-based Academic Service Information System to improve the efficiency and quality of academic services. The research applied the Waterfall method consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature studies. System testing using the Blackbox Testing method on seven main menus showed that all features functioned properly without errors. Quantitative analysis involved 58 respondents consisting of 26 eighth-grade students and 32 ninth-grade students, resulting in an average system success rate of 93.7%. The results indicate that the developed system successfully simplifies academic management, accelerates information access, and enables parents to monitor students’ academic progress in real-time through mobile devices.

Abstract

The development of information technology in education has encouraged schools to implement more effective and efficient administrative systems, including student attendance management. SMP Negeri 1 Pringsewu still uses a manual attendance system which has several weaknesses, such as delays in data processing, risk of data loss, and ineffective monitoring of student discipline. This study aims to develop a web mobile-based attendance information system to improve attendance management effectiveness and support the enhancement of student discipline and character building. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and literature studies. System testing was conducted on 61 respondents consisting of 2 teachers, 1 administrative staff member, 3 homeroom teachers, and 55 students using a Likert scale questionnaire. The results showed that the system achieved a success rate of 87% categorized as very good. The usability aspect obtained 90%, data accuracy 88%, monitoring effectiveness 86%, improvement in student discipline 84%, and character strengthening 83%. The web mobile-based attendance system was considered capable of assisting schools in managing student attendance in real time while supporting the development of discipline and responsibility among students in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the implementation of information systems in educational tourism to improve visitor learning experiences. This study aims to develop a QR-Code integrated web-mobile flora education information system for Sumberrejo Tourism Village. The system was designed to provide visitors with easy access to information about flora collections, including plant names, classifications, benefits, and descriptions through QR-Code scanning using smartphones or computers. The research employed a Waterfall development method consisting of requirement analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance stages. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature studies. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method involving 64 community members and 32 school-age children. The results showed that the system achieved an average success rate of 92.7%, indicating that the application effectively supports educational tourism, improves flora literacy, and enhances visitor interaction through digital technology integration.
