Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Authentic Leadership and Service Culture on Employee Performance at Fox Lite Hotel Samarinda. The number of samples in this study was 32 samples from a total population of 42 people. The data analysis method in this study used Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the study found that: (a) Authentic leadership has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. The results of hypothesis testing showed a path coefficient value of 0.234, a t-statistic of 1.904, and a p-value of 0.057. These values indicate that the better the implementation of authentic leadership, the employee performance tends to increase, but the effect is not statistically strong enough. Thus, authentic leadership has not been the main factor that directly determines the high and low employee performance at FOX Lite Hotel Samarinda. Hypothesis 1 which states that authentic leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance is not proven and is rejected; and (b) Service culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the hypothesis testing showed a path coefficient of 0.663, a t-statistic of 5.586, and a p-value of 0.000. This means that the better the service culture implemented, the higher the employee performance. Service culture has been shown to be a dominant factor in shaping employee work behavior, particularly in providing friendly, responsive, polite, consistent, safe, and customer-satisfaction-oriented service. Hypothesis 2, which states that service culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, was proven and accepted.

Abstract

Access to quality primary healthcare remains a major challenge in remote areas due to geographical, infrastructural, and human resource limitations. In such settings, midwives serve as key frontline providers bridging critical healthcare gaps. Objective: This study aims to systematically examine the roles, contributions, and challenges of midwives in delivering primary healthcare services in remote areas. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted, analyzing 100 scholarly articles from databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and others. Inclusion criteria included a focus on midwifery in remote areas and primary health service contexts. Results: Findings reveal that midwives contribute significantly to antenatal care, safe deliveries, postnatal and neonatal care, child immunization, nutrition, family planning, and community health promotion. Despite their vital role, they face significant barriers including geographic isolation, infrastructure deficits, workforce shortages, cultural resistance, and personal safety concerns. Adaptive strategies such as mobile technology use, self-funded training, and strong community-based approaches are essential for sustaining services. Conclusion: Midwives are strategic agents of change in delivering equitable primary health care in remote settings. Sustained support through policy, infrastructure, training, and protection is crucial to ensure their continued effectiveness.

Abstract

Globalization forces multinational companies (MNCs) to manage human resources amidst a diversity of contrasting cultures, laws and policies in each operational country. Rigid and centralized HR planning often creates communication barriers and non-compliance with local regulations, which ultimately reduces organizational performance. This research aims to analyze adaptive HR planning strategies in mitigating cultural and legal challenges in order to increase the effectiveness of company operations in the global market. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data was collected through documentation techniques on scientific journal articles, HR management textbooks, and national seminar proceedings for the 2017-2025 period which were then analyzed thematically. The study results show that successful HR planning involves accurate data collection processes, forecasting talent needs, and flexible policy implementation. Adaptive strategies, including cross-cultural training and adjusting compensation systems according to local labor laws, have been proven to minimize communication conflicts and legal risks. Adaptive HR planning is a key element for multinational companies to achieve competitive advantage. The synergy between global quality standards and local wisdom allows the company to maintain stable industrial relations while increasing employee engagement in various operational areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of Christology in the first century. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type. Data analysis techniques use content analysis and historical-theological analysis. The results of the study found that the understanding of the development of Christology from the first to the fifth century was a long journey in which the church attempted to formulate a precise understanding of the person of Jesus Christ. Starting from the testimony of the apostles in the New Testament, Christological thought developed through challenges from Gnosticism, Arianism, Nestorianism, and Monophysitism. Through ecumenical councils such as Nicaea (325 AD), Constantinople (381 AD), Ephesus (431 AD), and Chalcedon (451 AD), the church established the doctrine that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, with two natures united in one person without mixing, without changing, without dividing, and without separating. Figures such as Ignatius, Irenaeus, Athanasius, Cyrillus, and Leo the Great played an important role in this formulation. This understanding of historical Christology remains a solid foundation for Christian faith to this day

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ self-regulated learning in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) classes, where the learning process tends to remain one-sided and teacher-centered. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of inquiry-based learning strategies on students’ self-regulated learning in IRE classes. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through a self-regulated learning questionnaire and observations of learning activities, which were then analyzed using a t-test to determine the significance of differences between the experimental and control classes. The results indicate that the implementation of inquiry-based learning strategies significantly enhances students’ self-regulated learning compared to conventional methods, as students become more active in planning, monitoring, and evaluating their own learning processes. The implications of this study are that inquiry strategies can serve as an effective alternative learning model for Islamic Education teachers to foster students’ character traits of independence, critical thinking, and responsibility toward their spiritual and academic achievements.

Abstract

The development of social media has created an open digital communication space while simultaneously increasing the spread of hoaxes and disinformation that potentially threaten social integration, democratic stability, and the quality of citizens’ participation. This study aims to analyze the role of digital citizenship education in strengthening society’s resilience against false information (hoaxes) in the era of social media. The study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing various national and international journals, academic books, and relevant scientific documents. The findings indicate that digital citizenship education plays a strategic role in enhancing digital literacy, critical thinking skills, digital communication ethics, and citizens’ responsibility within the virtual public sphere. The study also reveals that the low culture of information verification and the high consumption of instant information are the main factors contributing to the increasing spread of disinformation on social media. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a conceptual model of digital citizenship education based on civic resilience, which integrates digital literacy, digital ethics, and digital citizen participation as preventive measures against hoaxes. In conclusion, digital citizenship education functions not only as an instrument of democratic education but also as a mechanism for strengthening the social resilience of digital society against disinformation

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance quality of the SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) system in supporting logistics and supply chain operations at PT XYZ using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) approach. This research employs a qualitative method with an evaluative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of SAP implementation within the company. The unit of analysis includes the SAP system and its users, particularly those involved in logistics and purchasing activities. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that SAP implementation at PT XYZ is generally aligned with operational needs and has contributed to improving work efficiency, data integration across departments, and real-time information availability for decision-making. However, the system utilization has not been fully optimized due to several constraints, particularly related to human resource readiness, including the lack of standardized and evenly distributed training, as well as inconsistent system usage among employees. Additionally, reliance on manual processes in certain conditions still affects overall system effectiveness. Based on these findings, this study recommends enhancing structured and continuous training programs, strengthening system governance, and optimizing SAP features to better adapt to operational needs. These improvements are expected to maximize the benefits and sustainability of SAP implementation in improving organizational performance.
