Based on IDF data, in 2015 the number of DM sufferers in Indonesia is 9.1 million, and it expected will continue to increase in 2035 with a total of 14.1 million. With these data, Indonesia ranked 5th of DM sufferers in the world. Purpose: To determine the correlation between the HbA1c value and total cholesterol levels in type 2 DM patients at Pertamina Bintang Amin Hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2019. Research Method: This research design is correlative analytic with the cross-sectional method using purposive sampling as many as 48 samples of type 2 DM patients who match with the inclusion criteria. Data collecting begins in January-February 2020. The data on this research used secondary data in the form of medical records. After the data collected, data will be evaluated by the Spearman test. Research Results: In this study, the sample obtained 48 patients with type 2 DM with a HbA1c value of ≥9%, as many as 30 patients (62.5%), for a HbA1c value <9% ie as many as 18 patients (37.5% ) and total cholesterol level ≥200mg / dl as many as 29 patients (60.4%), for total cholesterol levels <200mg / dl as many as 19 patients (39.6%). Spearman correlation results obtained p-value = 0.030 and r = + 0.314, because of the value of p = 0.030 <0.05 so that it can be declared Ha accepted and Ho declared rejected or there is a significant correlation, with r = 0.314 it can be interpreted that the strength of the correlation is positive between HbA1c value with total cholesterol level in type 2 DM patients. Conclusion: This study concludes there is a significant correlation between HbA1c value and total cholesterol level in type 2 DM patients with p-value = 0.030.

Abstract

Thalassemia is hemolytic anemia characterized by abnormalities in globin chain synthesis. Hemochromatosis and tissue hypoxia due to anemia are hormonal factors due to the accumulation of iron in the endocrine glands. Problems with endocrine glands and anemia can interfere with growth such as short posture. This study was to determine the correlation of serum ferritin levels with the incidence of stunting in beta-thalassemia major children in Abdul Moeloek Hospital in Lampung in 2019. This research uses an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. The subjects in the study were 60 patients. The instrument used was medical record data. Statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test showed an association between ferritin levels and the incidence of Stunting in Thalassemia patients β Major children at Abdul Moeloek Hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2019 (p-value 0.018. OR 4.67). There is a relationship between ferritin levels with the incidence of Stunting in Thalassemia patients β Major children at Abdul Moeloek Hospital, Bandar Lampung in 2019.

Then the data that has been obtained is processed using the Statical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program. Respondents with an HbA1c value≥9% were 31 people (63.3%), while Obtained respondents with the frequency distribution of allergic rhinitis in Bintang Amin Hospital Bandar Lampung in 2018-2019 with a frequency of 26 people (63.4%). Respondents with Chronic rhinosinusitis frequency distribution in Bintang Amin Hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2018-2019 were 25 people (61.0%). The Relationship between Chronic Rhinosinusitis and Alerfi Rhinitis in Bintang Amin Hospital in Bandar Lampung in 2018-2019. Evidently there is a relationship with p> 0.006 tested by Chi-Square. Abstract

Colorectal cancer treatment one of which is chemotherapy. One of the regimens/chemotherapy medicine is CapeOX (Capecitabine + Oxaliplatin). The use of oxaliplatin which is platinum-based chemotherapy has side effects in the form of hematological toxicity (myelosuppression) one of which is platelet count. Thrombocytopenia is a platelet count of less than 100,000 / mm3this is one of the hematological toxicity that can be found in colorectal cancer patients who received chemotherapy. Research Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the difference average of platelet levels and pre and post-chemotherapy CapeOX and the form of the degree of platelet toxicity in colorectal cancer patients receiving CapeOX chemotherapy.Method: This study is a historical (retrospective) cohort. The sample of this study was 70 patients obtained from a consecutive sampling calculation. Data analysis using Paired T-Test.Results: The age of colorectal cancer patients ranged from 18 to 73 years, with the highest frequency of 56-65 (38.6%), comparison of female 34 (48.6%) and male 36 (51.4%). The most widely used type of surgery was a Low Anterior Resection of 40 (57.1%). In this study, the highest decrease in platelet levels occurred in the sixth series of 54.186/mm3 with a standard deviation of 16.127/mm3. There was a decrease in average platelet levels highest occurred in the sixth cycle of 54,186 / mm3 with a standard deviation of 16,127 / mm3, and obtained first-degree platelets) toxicity in the 5th and 6th cycles of 3 (4.3%) and 18 (25.7) and who experienced second degree in the 5th and 6th cycles of 1 (1.4%) and 10 (14.3%).
