Abstract

Abstrak Latar belakang : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) merupakan gangguan pada tulang yang diakibatkan oleh gerakan dalam waktu lama secara berulang dengan posisi statis sehingga suplai darah ke pergelangan tangan, dan saraf terganggu. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh ultrasound (US) dan Carpal Bone Mobilization dalam menurunkan derajat nyeri, merelaksasikan otot, serta meningkatkan lingkup gerak sendi, pada penderita Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Metode : penelitian menggunakan metode case study, Pada seorang pasien  dengan umur 66 tahun, yang berprofesi sebagai pensiunan guru. Hasil : setelah dilakukan terapi sebanyak 6 kali menunjukkan bahwa pemberian  US dapat mengurangi nyeri, dimana nyeri gerak yang awalnya 5 menjadi  3, dan nyeri tekan yang awalnya  4 menjadi 2. Dan pemberian Carpal Bone Mobilization dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot fleksi dan radial deviasi yang awalnya 4 menjadi 5. Kesimpulan : Ultrasound dapat mengurangi nyeri dan  Carpal Bone Mobilization dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot pada Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Kata kunci : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) , ultrasound (US), Carpal Bone Mobilization AbstractBackground : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a disorder of the bones caused by repeated movements for a long time in a static position so that the blood supply to the wrist, and nerves is disrupted. Objective: To determine the effect of ultrasound (US) and Carpal Bone Mobilization in reducing the degree of pain, relaxing muscles, and increasing the scope of motion of the joints, in patients with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Method: research using the case study method, In a patient with the age of 66 years, who works as a retired teacher. Results: after 6 times therapy showed that US administration can reduce pain, where motion pain from 5 to 3, and tenderness from 4 to 2. And the administration of Carpal Bone Mobilization can increase flexion muscle strength and radial deviation from 4 to 5. Abstract

Explosive power in sports is a component that must be possessed in some sports, because this is related to the results of all work instructions carried out by individuals and groups. Explosive power can be increased with regular and systematic training. Alternative Leg Bound training functions to increase muscle explosive power so that athletes have high explosive power in carrying out their activities. This study aims to determine the effect of giving Alternative Leg Bound on the explosive power of muscle spasms in sepak takraw players in Kamang in 2023. The sample collection technique used purposive sampling. This research was carried out with a youth population of 20 people, with a sample of 10 people. Muscle explosive power is measured using a vertical jump. The results of research on giving Alternative Leg Bound showed that the average explosive power of muscle spasms before the intervention was 32.30 after giving the intervention to 42.00 and the effect test showed p= 0.000, meaning that there was an increase in muscle explosive power in sepak takraw players with the administration of Alternate Leg Bound. Keywords : Alternate Leg Bound, Muscular Explosive Power, Sepak Takraw

Abstract

ABSTRACT Frozen shoulder is the possibility of inflammation, pain, adhesion, atrophy, and capsule shortening. The attacks are generally unilateral, more in women than men and more often in the age of 40-60 years. This type of research is Quasi Experiments with the One Group Pretest and Postest Design research. The independent research variable is the glenohumeral joint and pendular translation exercise while the dependent variable is the analysis of motion of the joint on the frozen shoulder. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of this study winning 10 respondents. The results of this study prove the fact-average about joint movements before and after the change intervention. The statistical analysis of this study using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained different results of flexion motion before and completed intervention 21.1 and p = 0.0001 (p <0.05), extensions with an average difference of 9.8 and p = 0,0001 (p <0.05). The mean with an average of 19.5 and p = 0,0001 (p <0.05), the acceleration with different means is 19.5 and p = 0.0001 (0.05), the addition with the average difference average 2.82 and p = 0.005 (p <0.05), endorotation with a difference in mean of 2.913 and p = 0.004 (p <0.05), exaggeration with an average difference of 2.842 and p = 0.004 (p <0 , 05).Can help improve joint glenohumeral hearing and pendulum codman exercises effective in increasing the motion distribution of glenohumeral joints in patients with frozen shoulder. Keywords : Frozen Shoulder, Range Of Motion , Glenohumeralis Translation Joint, Codman Pendulum Exercise. ABSTRAKFrozen shoulder adalah terjadinya peradangan, nyeri, perlengketan, atropi dan pemendekan kapsul sendi sehingga terjadi keterbatasan sendi bahu. Serangan umumnya bersifat unilateral, lebih banyak pada wanita dibandingkan laki–laki dan lebih sering terjadi pada usia 40–60 tahun.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest and Postest Desain. Variabel independent penelitian ini adalah translasi glenohumeralis joint dan pendular codman exercise sedangkan variabel dependentnya adalah lingkup gerak sendi pada frozen shoulder. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 10 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata lingkup gerak sendi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi mengalami perubahan. Analisis statistic penelitian ini menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yang didapat hasil beda rata-rata gerak fleksi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi 21,1 dan p= 0,0001(p<0,05), ekstensi dengan beda rata-rata 9,8 dan p=0,0001(p<0,05). Abduksi dengan beda rata-rata 19,5 dan p= 0,0001(p<0,05), Abduksi dengan beda rata-rata 19,5 dan p=0,0001(0,05), adduksi dengan beda rata-rata 2,82 dan p= 0,005(p<0,05), endorotasi dengan beda rata-rata 2,913 dan p= 0,004(p<0,05), eksorotasi dengan beda rata-rata 2,842 dan p= 0,004(p<0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa  pemberian translasi glenohumeralis joint dan pendulum codman exercise efektif terhadap peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi glenohumeralis pada penderita frozen shoulder.Kata Kunci :Frozen Shoulder, Lingkup Gerak Sendi, Translasi Glenohumeralis Joint, Pendulum Codman Exercise.

Abstract

Elderly sleep quality disorders can be overcome by doing low impact exercises. Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga are types of low impact exercises with a series of smooth and slow movements that are suitable for the elderly. The purpose of knowing the effect of Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga on sleep quality in the elderly in Banjar Dakdakan, Peguyangan Village, North Denpasar District. The two group pre-test and post-test design method was carried out in April-May 2023 with a sample of 20 respondents in Banjar Dakdakan who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample was divided into two groups, namely 10 respondents in the Tai Chi Gymnastics group (Group 1) and 10 respondents in the Hatha Yoga gymnastics group (Group 2). Measurement instruments to assess sleep quality using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. Data analysis with the Wilcoxon test to determine the effect of Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga exercises on sleep quality in the elderly. The results showed a value of p = 0.05 (p < 0.05) which indicates that there is a difference between group 1 and group 2 on improving sleep quality in the elderly. Keywords: elderly, sleep quality, tai_chi, hatha_yoga, PSQI ABSTRAKGangguan kualitas tidur lansia dapat diatasi dengan cara melakukan senam yang bersifat low impact. Tai Chi dan Hatha Yoga adalah jenis senam low impact dengan rangkaian gerakan yang halus dan lambat sehingga cocok dilakukan oleh lanjut usia. Tujuan mengetahui pengaruh  Tai Chi dan Senam Hatha Yoga terhadap kualitas tidur pada lansia di Banjar Dakdakan, Desa Peguyangan, Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Metode two group pre-test and post-test design yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei tahun 2023 dengan sampel sebanyak 20 responden di Banjar Dakdakan yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu 10 responden kelompok Senam Tai Chi (Kelompok 1) dan 10 responden kelompok senam Hatha Yoga (Kelompok 2). Instrumen pengukuran untuk menilai kualitas tidur menggunakan kuisioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Analisis data dengan uji wilcoxon test untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam Tai Chi dan Senam Hatha Yoga kualitas tidur pada lansia. Hasil menunjukkan nilai p = 0,05 (p < 0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang antara kelompok 1 dan kelompok 2 terhadap peningkatan kualitas tidur pada lansia. Keywords: lansia, kualitas­_tidur, tai_chi, hatha_yoga, PSQI

Abstract

ABSTRACTOsteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease that indicates damage to joint cartilage, thickening of subchondral bones, formation of osteophytes at the edges of joints and mild inflammatory processes occurring in nonspecific synoviums. Objective: To determine the management of physiotherapy in cases of osteoarthritis genu sinistra in reducing pain, reducing oedema, increasing LGS and increasing ADL in the left knee joint with TENS, IASTM and Isometric Contraction modalities. Method: The type of research conducted is a case study with 1 respondent on March 28 to July 11, 2023. Conclusion: In accordance with these problems, the author provides physiotherapy programs with TENS, IASTM and Isometric Contraction modalities. After 6 times therapy, results were obtained, namely reduced tenderness, decreased motion pain, decreased oedema, increased LGS and increased ADL in the left knee joint. Advice: Do therapy regularly and repeat the exercises that have been given done regularly, maintain weight and live a healthy lifestyle.Keywords: Osteoarthritis Genu Sinistra:Tens;Iastm;Isometric ContractionABSTRAKOsteoarthritis merupakan penyakit sendi degeneratif yang menunjukkan kerusakan pada kartilago sendi, penebalan tulang subkondral, pembentukan osteofit pada tepi sendi dan terjadi proses peradangan ringan pada sinovium nonspesifik. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui penatalaksanaan fisioterapi pada kasus osteoarthritis genu sinistra dalam mengurangi nyeri, mengurangi oedema, meningkatkan LGS dan meningkatkan ADL pada sendi lutut kiri dengan modalitas TENS, IASTM dan Isometric Contraction. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah studi kasus (case study) dengan 1 orang responden pada tanggal 28 Maret s/d 11 Juli 2023. Kesimpulan: Sesuai dengan problematika tersebut, penulis memberikan program fisioterapi dengan modalitas TENS, IASTM dan Isometric Contraction. Setelah di berikan terapi sebanyak 6 kali didapatkan hasil yaitu penrunan nyeri tekan, penurunan nyeri gerak, penurunan oedema, peningkatan LGS dan Peningkatan ADL pada sendi lutut kiri. Saran: Melakukan terapi secara rutin dan mengulangi latihan yang telah di berikan dilakukan secara teratur, menjaga berat badan dan menjalani pola hidup yang sehat.Keywords: Osteoarthritis Genu Sinistra:Tens;Iastm;Isometric Contraction
